Several hours later he came to my house, provided me with his professional opinion on what size whole house generator I needed. We agreed on a larger one for not much more than the smaller one would have cost. Signed the contract, gave him a small deposit and we parted ways. I called Maria back and she walked me through what I needed to provide and what they would be doing on my behalf. I scanned her everything she needed, she drafted the proposal, their insurance information and a schematic for what she would send the township and HOA. In less than 24 hours from when Jason was here and signed the contract I had HOA approval and a date from Maria of when they would install my generator. They even took care of obtaining Township approval. On 10 16 25, less than a month from my first contact with them, my Generac was installed. The crew showed up at 7:30 and were completely done by 11:30. The 4 man crew worked like a well oiled machine. This is my third Generac in different homes, my fourth whole house generator, and I would highly recommend not only using a Generac but you must call Absolute Energy Solutions to have it installed. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! Every one with a website had a closed-for-the-holiday notice or an out-of-office message up, and not one of them got back to me. U.S. Appliance Services did, and quickly. Over the holiday, it felt like they were the only repair company still in business. The only reason this isn't five stars is timing. They already had other jobs booked, so the repair itself happened a couple of days after the holiday. That was reasonable under the circumstances, but a same-day visit would have made this an easy five. When they came out, the visit was quick, efficient, and clean. There was no sales pitch, no push toward an upgraded repair, and no attempt to sell me anything I didn't need. Pricing is clear and transparent, and it's reasonable for this market. My first call with them, about a year ago, was for a dishwasher. It turned out they couldn't fix it, so they charged me what amounted to a service-call fee instead of billing me for a repair they didn't make. I ended up replacing the dishwasher, but that kind of honesty counts for a lot with me. One practical tip: text them. They'll answer messages through Yelp, but texts usually get a fairly quick reply. This area has no shortage of businesses that say they repair appliances. Far fewer seem to have the capacity to show up when you need them. Overall this wasn't done correctly the first time and they continued to charge me after claiming the work has a 90 day warranty. After weeks of telling me they were doing work and setting dehumidifiers, it turned out they had been doing the work on a neighbors home and not at my property! Despite this egregious mistake on their behalf, I was understanding of their mistake under the assumption they would surely finish work on the unit they were contracted to do work on in a timely manner. On September 13th, I visited the property and nothing has been done. Their machines were left running in my basement for weeks, mold is growing in the carpets and the walls, and they will not return phone calls or even attempt to rectify the situation. Jason Roberts, the general manager has told me twice they will be out to the property and has clearly not shown up on either occasion. Dave the owner is lackluster and was not even aware that the work was not completed and seemingly had no idea they even made a mistake.
