We never got a response, then I happened to run into the salesman from Garrety that sold us the sunroom and I expressed our disappointment. He was helpful and the next day we received a call from Garrety to schedule a time to come out and repair the leak. The repair man came out twice as it continued to leak after his first visit. Well, it's still leaking and we are concerned about the structural integrity of the roof and ceiling if the room continues to leak. For a project that cost almost $100,000, we really believe Garrety should do a better job standing behind their work.

I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

It didn't resolve the issues. Section of the sliding glass windows jam and do not slide. I was told that some were not meant to slide? Yet, their literature states: "Standard configurations include sliding windows." Window frames are separating from window glass. 2. Unreliable: Project was anticipated to start 01/01/2024 and be completed by 01/31/2024. We are now in June 2025. When asked about the time beyond stated 30 day period, the response was: "It was just an estimate". During that time we endured delays for: week long seminar in Florida in January 2024; several days in February 2024 to see a tax accountant for business and then personal income taxes; set-up and attend home show; weather; personal issues; super busy; lost track of time, delays attributed to third party vendors. 3. Communications Most of the time required multiple request for updates with either little or no response . 4. Workmanship Had to redo or revisit most installations: electrical outlets; windows leaking; motion detection light failed; electrical worked performed: i.e. improper AMP circuit breaker was installed at main breaker box for AC/Heater; power cord for new AC/Heater was replaced. They say you get what you pay for- but with this company that is the furthest thing from the…read moretruth!!!! RUN away!!! Please do your research before even allowing this company into your home. We ordered six windows from them and left a sizable down payment in cash toward them. Due to the size of the deposit we were told by the sales man, Dwight, that the remaining balance of the job, which we financed, would not be charged until the windows were installed. This was not the case and the shoddy company (GreenSky) they used for financing attempted to take 50% payment a few days later. We obviously fought this and disputed this charge. I will say that Andersen did a good job of rectifying this situation, though they never communicated with me, nor did Green Sky, that my disputing the charge actually closed the account. Fast forward to a few months later. The windows are very nice, but they were NOT installed by Andersen professionals as promised. A company that is sublet through Andersen did the install, the men who installed were perfectly capable though I was upset that it was not what I was promised.. Since I was paying for this gold level service I expected to have personnel and vehicles with properly branded gear, which was promised during the sales pitch. ( We had two men in Kiss cut off shirts) We expected all to be good from there, but after three weeks we got an email from Dwight that the remaining balance was due or we needed to reopen the GreenSky account which had closed when we disputed the initial charge. This means that a credit check hit our credit during the initial phase, when the fraudulent charges were disputed, and now they wanted to run our credit again to open the account once more. Why should our credit score be so negatively impacted when the situation was NOT our fault? I responded to Dwight's email that he should send me a formal invoice that we would handle payment- but never heard back nor did I receive an invoice as requested. I DID however, receive a certified letter threatening legal action if this crap company did not get the payment I had requested an invoice for weeks previously. (Which by the time the letter was delivered to me, I had less than 24 hrs to respond to before legal action was pursued.) In the letter they claimed that I never responded to attempts at contact- they NEVER called me or my significant other, and I DID respond to the email sent by Dwight and even followed up a few days later with ZERO response. DO NOT ever use this company- just save yourself the headache. They will NOT provide the premium service you expect based on the price of these windows!
