Anyways, Steve has lots of connections and found me a bank to lend me over 2.5 million for my new home when all the 10 or more banks I went to on my own wouldn't loan over 2 million no matter what. I got 2.75% interest on a jumbo loan too and only spent $1,500 to buy it down to 2.75%. If I didn't use Steve, I'll probably end up in another home for under 2mil, but that will not be my ideal home. I wanted to move on the hill in Fremont and near mission San Jose high. That was ideal for us since I want our kids to attend that high school one day. Steve also took care of all my home's problems. Had lots of issues, but he was there to set up all the appointments and was there with all the people coming in and out of the house. I went on vacation and didn't want to be bothered with all the stuff. He got ppl to fix my roof, windows, paint the house, fix a leak from the outside of my house, etc. Steve took care of making the outside of my house look nice all on his own. He was getting down and dirty fixing the plants and mulch in the front and in my yard. Selling and buying is so stressful already, but Steve can be a great help to make things easier. With his knowledge and connections and him being a hard worker, things will be much easier. Steve is still helping me get my mail from my old place in Danville and stuff too. I am annoying and always text or call him for everything and he always find time to be there for me. I highly recommend him! He won't dissapon

We met him at an open house, and he was different from the other realtors we met. He was friendly and informative. We immediately knew we wanted him as our realtor. What amazed me was how honest he was. Every time we looked at a house, he gave his honest, expert opinion on every little detail. He has a very keen sense of observation. He saw things that my husband and I would've never noticed and explained how they might cause problems. And he never pressured us until we found "the one." And we did find our first house with him and he made the process easy and worry-free. He has smart ideas and knows how to give us the best deal. Five and a half years later (January 2017), we had Steve help sell our house because we wanted to move into a different area. He and Leslie staged our house beautifully. We received a great offer within 6 says of our listing. Once again, he walked us through the process with ease and honesty. Once our house sold, we went on the second part of the journey and found our new home in Danville. I highly recommend anyone looking for a home or wanting to sell their home to contact Steve. He has been in this business for years and knows the ins and outs. He is reliable, trustworthy and a great communicator. Why else would we have partnered with Steve three times? We decided to go with Greg based on a personal recommendation and looking at the sales data in the city. The personal recommendation that we received was based on his honesty, work ethic and knowledge. We highly recommend Greg and his team with Brian and others. They immediately made some small cosmetic changes (eg paint, light fixtures, floor refinishing) and didn't go overboard and had the place ready and staged within 2 weeks of us emptying out of the home. After that was done, the house had 5 offers in a week, all during a downturn in the market in San Francisco, all above asking price. Greg treated us cordially and outlined everything clearly. They even checked our permits and apparently one of them was still outstanding online even though we had the signature signed. They actually went to city planning to close out these permits - way beyond a typical real estate agent. After close of escrow, he shared his files with us electronically in an organized way. He was ethical throughout (which was very important to us) and provided value in pricing the home correctly and understanding how to position the sale, along with a great website of the home fully staged. My sister looked at our listing on its website and said the home looked so much nicer than it looked before the cosmetic changes and staging (thanks a lot sis!) What immediately struck me was how I didn't feel like I was talking with a salesman. He was approachable and knowledgeable without being pushy. When I was ready to sell my home in September, I took the opportunity to reacquaint myself with Steve. After a great discussion of his vision and marketing strategy for selling houses, I tasked him with addressing a few of my concerns specifically related to my home. His subsequent follow-up and thoughtfulness sealed the deal for me. Since this was my first time as a seller, I expected to be overwhelmed. Surprisingly this experience became minimally stressful because of Steve. He was always accessible (and quickly responsive) and devoted quality time in answering my questions. When there was a need for some repair/inspection work, Steve had contacts readily available. I chatted with one of his go-to guys and he came across just as honest as Steve. If you are looking for someone who cares just as much about your selling/buying experience as, if not more than, the final outcome, then Steve Hansen is your guy!
