They went above and beyond anything we could have imagined from a realtor team. The condo we sold had been a rental, so it needed some work. Even though trades professionals were in very short supply, Candace and Keith had a team they could count on. With Keith as project manager overseeing the painters, carpet installers, electricians, cleaners, stagers and others, the condo looked amazing in a matter of weeks. We received multiple offers over our asking price. Candace helped us weigh our options, so we could select the most viable, high offer. When it came time to purchase a condo, Candace helped us understand what was happening in the current real estate market and what we could reasonably expect. We have used 6 or 7 different realtors both commercial and residential, to sell our properties in different cities. We met Lyndasue a year ago when she called us and wanted to represent us on our listing agent for two properties we wanted to sell in San Rafael. She has listed and sold 3 of our Marin properties. Lyndasue is so far superior to any other realtors we did business with that we wish she would open offices in the other cities where we have properties for sale. She has a set the standard for integrity, excellent service and selling ability. She is an extremely hard worker and very efficient and thorough. She has managed two escrows where she handled both sides of the transaction, and we felt that our interests were always paramount to her. She is very talented at marketing properties as well as guiding us and the buyers through any difficulties that may come up. We were thrilled with the prices and terms she negotiated for out properties. She stays in control of the escrow even when working with a less experienced buyer's agent. She is a natural problem solver and her insight and understanding of the buyer's and seller's concerns and desires is exceptional. This review is for Jennifer Dunbar at Frank Howard Allen in Tiburon, who was absolutely outstanding…read morein every way. I had a very torturous short sale which few realtors are experienced in to start with, and then had to fire my original realtor when he couldn't even manage to fax two pieces of paper competently! I got up early the next morning and said to myself ' I'm going around the offices first thing this morning and whoever is up and working at 8:00 AM, that's the one for me!' Jennifer was there at her desk - the only one in the whole city of Tiburon I might add - and the rest is history. She was on top of the process every step of the way, took over communications with my bank, set up most documents electronically since I work 300 miles away most weeks, and made the whole transaction as smooth as it could possibly be. Highly recommend! You can't do better than Jennifer.

This agency is unprofessional. There was a theft of my designer handbags (stolen out of my closed…read morecloset doors) during an open house. The agency claimed that I was the one legally responsible for this loss because I signed the typical Realtor document which absolves them of theft liability. Legally they are right. However, this was the second time in less than 3 months that the same crime was committed during an open house hosted by an agent from Frank Howard Allen Tiburon. I asked the office manager why he did not alert his clients to this type of thefts -- since the first one was committed within walking distance from my house during one of his agent's showing. At first, the office manager denied the theft. Then I gave him the police report number, the location and date of the previous theft. He reluctantly acknowledged it happened. He once again cited the legal document I had signed and said they were not liable. When I asked him if he thought I would have left any designer handbags in my closet if I had known there was a similar theft down the street in a home that they were represented, he repeated that the agency had no liability in that crime either. I will never know if an agent in their office was stealing designer handbags or if it was a random agent who needed extra cash. (We believe it was an agent because both crimes happened during the Brokers' Open.) What I do know is that they failed to disclose this crime within their brokerage until I forced them to so and that they do not care about doing the right thing for their clients. Full disclosure, I did not fire them, but I should have. There are many professional brokers in Marin and they will take care of their customers and their customers' belongings. I recommend that you work with them, not Frank Howard Allen Tiburon. The management of this office does not care about their clients or obviously their reputation.
