I rented a karaoke system for my daughters graduation party. The delivery was late because he said he got stuck in traffic. The problems started almost as soon as he left. The sound was crackly and distorted and the microphone was squealing really loud. in addition the system had none of the songs that the kids wanted (mostly new popular songs like Justin Bieber). I assembled a playlist from their very large inventory of songs and, later, people were able to choose particular songs they wanted for dancing. The equipment is of good quality and easy to use. Our family rented a jukebox with karaoke from Jay for our daughter's christening. This company came highly recommended from a friend. We were blown away with how easy the machine worked and how children friendly it really was. The sound quality is amazing! We were given a demo when the jukebox arrived and once the party started, everyone was using the machine and of course singing karaoke all night. My grandmother even put a karaoke song in and sang on her own!! We will be renting many jukeboxes from Shoemaker entertainment in the future for sure. Amazing company they made my party so much fun that people still talk about it two years after the fact. Everyone loved being able to pick songs for dancing and for karaoke especially since they had so many songs to choose from (over 30,000). We danced and sang all night long. Very easy to use and I loved the fact that the owner set it up the night before and showed me how to use it and then he came and picked it up the next day. I would highly recommend it for any birthday party, wedding reception, family reunion, communion or anniversary party - this is the way to go. Shoemaker Jukeboxes are amazing! Had one at my son's 30th birthday party this weekend and it was a huge success! Before the party you are able to build your own playlist so there is continuous music. But the best part is, people can put in whatever song they want to hear. There are 1,000's of songs to choose from and so easy to do. The sound quality was unbelievable and had everyone up dancing and singing along with the songs. Jay was great to work with, the jukebox was easy to use, and they took care of setting everything up and picking it up the next day. Had a graduation party Sunday. Machine froze up and stopped working. We called the service line for immediate help with the karaoke machine. No answer. Left a handful of messages from a couple different numbers. Not a single call was answered or returned to help with rebooting the machine. I then sent an email to them explaining I was VERY UNHAPPY that it froze up during the party but more so that nobody ever cared to answer the emergency party service line or return a single text message, email or voicemail(which I sent out all 3) so now I will make sure everyone knows about our experience. We rented a jukebox for our daughters baby shower. It was outside by a pool, and we wanted it to be a fun party. They delivered the juke box early, and set up was quick and easy. It was easy to work, and everyone enjoyed the really large selection of songs. Although there were thousands of songs to choose from, we may have worn out the track "let it go" (from Frozen)! We heard it many many times. They answered emails quickly, and were great to work with. Really fun time! read more
