When people went up to the DJ both to request songs they were met with a bad attitude, even the bride, groom and others in the wedding party. They were rude, condescending and unprofessional. Don't let them ruin your wedding day like they did ours.

He called the day before the wedding to go over everything, including songs I did and did not want played and how to pronounce everyone's names. We cannot recommend him enough!

I used Wesley Skold DJ for my May 2015 wedding and cannot say enough what a great decision that…read morewas! Of all of my vendors for the big day, he was hands-down the most attentive! He met with us several times to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, and he helped us to make a timeline for the day-of. He was extremely patient as my (then) fiancé and I realized we were relatively unsure of what we wanted in terms of music and an emcee. Wesley was so instrumental in helping us think through the logistics of the day and offered valuable suggestions. Working with him was refreshing-he is very passionate about his art and was focused on making us happy! On the actual day, he came prepared and made it a wonderful day for us and the guests. Everyone had a great time and, when there was a lull in the actual dancing (you know, end of night, people are tired), he actually got everyone back out there! His energy as an emcee was infectious. After your guests have eaten, they are looking to have a good time and that is what Wesley provided. When we asked for last minute requests or accidentally did something out-of-order on our timeline, he was smooth and rolled with it. He made our little mistakes seamless and our guests were none-the-wiser. It was very skillful. After my wedding, I received many praises and inquiries about my DJ, including from my grandma! He is professional and very fun to work with. Wedding planning doesn't have to be stressful if you work with the right people-Wesley Skold DJ will exceed your expectations. I highly recommend him for your event.

We provided him with a list of songs we wanted played (in no particular order) and he completely read the mood to play the right song at the right time with very little direction. He even worked around requests! Everybody in attendance had a great time and I know, for certain, that it wouldn't have been the same night without Wes. Even Grandma Barbara raved about Wesley's performance! He comes 100% recommended! Wes communicated with my wife and me from the day we booked him right up until the day of. He made certain that he would be able to meet our needs and was very willing to work around extenuating circumstances. On the big day he worked very hard setting up the equipment and working with other vendors (photographers, videographers, venue managers, etc.) to make sure that everything meshed perfectly. He was professionally dressed, worked with us, and even improvised when asked. Wes is a class act that will bring exactly what you need to kick up your event!

When the party was still rocking, he had no problem adding an extra half hour (paid, of course), which I greatly appreciated. Working with Adam was above all else easy - I can't tell you how many times I've had difficulty getting in touch with DJs in the past. That was not the case here at all. I'm looking forward to booking Philly Custom DJ for other events in the future!

Payment was quick and painless also. Mike was relaxed, down to earth, and great to work with. We met with him several weeks before the wedding to iron out all details, and he was thorough and professional- listening to what we wanted and making professional suggestions. Mike texted me a few days before the wedding to check if any changes were needed. He arrived early for the wedding (and greeted me in the bridal suite) and set up exactly as had been requested. He played the music for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and deposits having three setup, he was seamless and efficient. Mike did a wonderful job with the reception, enough of a presence to be personable and keep things fun/moving, but not overbearing/annoying/corny (which DJs often are, unfortunately). I received compliments regarding the music and DJ throughout (and after) the reception from guests of all ages. We knew that Mike was good (since he was the DJ for a friend's wedding), but we didn't know how truly amazing he was until our meeting and wedding day. If you are looking for an experienced DJ professional, then Mike and DJs Available is a good choice for you. One more thing- they're reasonable! This company was hundreds of dollars less than competitors!

We started our search by reading all of the reviews online through multiple websites and then starting pricing it out. Design Entertainment by Kris Szanto came out on top. Of course the review doesn't just end there... Kris was extremely accommodating and was easy to work with, which as many of you know, if you do not already, wedding planning is extremely stressful so working with Kris was a breathe of fresh air. We got married June 27, 2015 at Eagle Ridge Gold Club in Lakewood, NJ. During the wedding everything went off so smoothly we could not have been happier with Kris and his crew. He immediately set the mood and for a group that I thought would never get out on the dance floor, the floor was full within the first 10 mins... Talk about a guy who knows what he is doing, Kris is not a one trick pony... Not only were we happy with Kris we received so many compliments from our guests. There are plenty of options out there but if you want the best I recommend Kris and his crew with By Design Entertainment without question...
