DJ Taiga (Simon) set the bar REALLY high for our friends' future weddings! His mixing was AMAZING and he really set the mood all throughout my entire wedding. Multiple people came up to me throughout the day and also the day after and asked where I found him because they were blown away by how great he was. DJ Taiga seamlessly mixed between songs, never skipping the good parts but also not staying too long on any single song that you have to endure the weird non-danceable parts. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. But even on top of that, I also really appreciated how responsive DJ Taiga was before the wedding and how curious he was to really understand what we wanted at different points of the day. By the middle of the party, I lost track of how many people grabbed me, just to say, "Your DJ is amazing!" Taiga possesses an uncanny ability to get everyone up and dancing, and keep them dancing for song . . . after song . . . after song. The only complaint you may get from your guests is that they won't be able to find time, amidst the feverish dancing, to go to the bar and get a drink. Taiga was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the day we hired him until the time the party concluded. He is incredibly organized, polished, and professional, and always makes you feel comfortable that he is on top of everything. Taiga even designed a custom mix for our "hora" (traditional Jewish wedding dance) that had the entire guest list squeezed onto the dance floor for 13 and-a-half minutes of nonstop action. He stepped in seamlessly on the day of the wedding, and took control of the ceremony and the party in just the way that we needed. If Yelp allowed me to give Remixologists an entire galaxy of stars I would! We worked with DJ Ben, who is not only super nice and fun, but actually saved our wedding day! We got married on 1/23 in Delaware, during a blizzard. Without a second thought, Ben came down a night early and booked 2 nights at the hotel where we had our wedding- without an expectation of us covering the cost at all. And thank goodness he did- the night before our wedding, our ceremony and cocktail hour band had to cancel due to the storm, so I quickly called Ben and asked if there was any way he could provide the music for those 2 hours as well. He agreed without hesitation; we met at the hotel bar, went over the spaces and services that needed covered, then spent the rest of the night hanging out and having fun with our guests! The day of was fantastic! We got so many compliments on our ceremony soundtrack (which was all Ben, since we had only planned on the band being there) And the reception was AMAZING!
