They offered to give me a tour of the store and led me to what I was looking for and explained their selection. Everything was sold at a fair price and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. We were also invited to their game nights at a local brewery. If you're looking for a store with happy people and a huge selection of awesome items, this is your place. I will definitely be back and recommend this store to all!

Additionally, there are other card games, a selection of board games, comic books and graphic novels, crafty options like some neat flower kits, models, and more. They have so many crystals, tarot decks, witchy-style books, unique artwork, and all kinds of oddities like coyote claws and teeth. There is so much to look at and explore. I also loved the workers. Everyone was so nice and excited to be there, and they even dress in the theme of the store, a Victorian-style look. I was also extremely impressed with how everything I bought was packaged. Each crystal was labeled and everything was packaged individually. They even wrapped some items like a little gift with a wax seal. I could spend SO much time in here. If you love books, oddities, crystals, or anything witchy, you absolutely need to visit.

This beautifully and lovingly restored historic building draws the crowds, as it should. If someone was smart, they'd be opening up a witches brew cafe next door. I felt like every little detail was so thoughtfully executed, that other shop keepers could really learn from this place. Strap in, I have a lot to say! Everyone who has seen photos gets that it's a place with tarot cards, books, and things you find at the intersection of Goth, steam punk, Wicca, Occult, faeries, magic, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Medieval, and magic +++. But it is so much more. The space itself encompasses what they are selling: otherworldly magic. Transporting you to an alternate place and providing you with an all-encompassing, sensory experience. Staff is all dressed the part, and helpful, handing out little tags with talismans in exchange for your overburdened arms, as you have collected various bits of their merch. Trinkets and delights abound throughout, and their library of books is impressive. I mean into the nitty gritty of anything remotely related to the aforementioned above. Displays are engaging, and you find yourself constantly "oohing" and "ahhhhing" and beckoning companions to check out your latest discovery. Staff is so warm and welcoming, and happy to talk you through the merits of your choices. The rescued shelving, wood work, and architectural details of the place are jaw dropping. And at check out, each thing is lovingly wrapped, and packaged like they might have done in the most upscale shop in a cosmopolitan city in Victorian times. Honestly, I can't even capture how amazing the place was, but if you are anywhere near Cincy, do not miss rising this special shop. They put their hours for the week out on their website, so double check that before just zipping over on your broom, or other conveyance. Love, love, love!

Unfortunately, my experience with this shop has become increasing disappointing. There are several…read moreissues that make it difficult to reccomend this place to regular players. The customer service and management need significant improvement. Players have dealt with rude behavior, poor communication, disappointing prizing, and an environment that can be extremely loud and overstimulating. Smoking in the shop also makes the experience unpleasant for people who are simply trying to enjoy their games. The tournament organization is another major problem. Pokémon events, in particular, have lacked basic organization, including appropriate timers. When people are spending their time and money participating in competitive events, they should be able to expect tournaments to be run properly and consistently. The biggest issue is that these concerns don't seem to be taken seriously. Instead of creating an environment where players feel welcome and valued, the overall experience has become frustrating enough that many regular players are considering taking their business elsewhere. A local card shop depends heavily on its community. Pokémon players, Magic players, and other customers should all be able to enjoy the shop without feeling like their concerns are being ignored. At this point, I believe the owners need to seriously evaluate the current management of the store, specifically the management of Kris Spicer. The owners should tale a serious look at how the store is being run, address the ongoing concerns about customer service and tournament organization, and actually listen to the regular players who support the business. There is a lot of potential here, but the current management and overall experience are making it increasingly difficult to support the shop.
