I've been going here for years and I've never been displeased with the service. The owner is super nice and always shines my boots great. One time he even accommodated me needing to shine my boots at the last min. Carson location is much better than the Cerritos location. Cerritos location is higher in pricing and the don't do spit shine. read more

The only thing better than a pair of new shoes, is a pair of shoes you've already broken in that look like they're new. These folks make that fantasy a reality. Can't say enough nice things about them. They are fast, professional, they do great work, and if they can't make it work they'll tell you on the spot. What more could you ask for? read more

I've been going to this place for the past three years and every time I feel like I got a brand-new pair of shoes. I had shoe repairs there on my loafers. They can take care of my ostrich leather shoes. Overall this place is amazing I think they even do purses handbags wallets and other leather goods. Just be aware if you are looking for this location they have relocated in the mall call them read more

I really like this place and his fantastic works. I used a regular leather cleanser and conditioner to my luxurious handbag for cleaning and it faded the color. I was so upset and called to YSL boutique and they recommended a shop at fashion island in Irvine. Their price starts from $250 and it could be higher depend on damages so I was hesitating. I found here close to my work and deciced to try. I was little bit worried because there are not many reviews for handbags. However, when I received my bag, it look " Perfect". He refinished and conditioned it. "WOW" I got a new handbag. I will definitely recommend this place and pleople here are very nice and very kind. Most important thing was I paid it very low price. read more

So I dropped off two pair of heels that I needed repaired. One was a Steven Madden pair where the strap broke, and the other was a pair of BCBGeneration pumps, where the heels basically came off. They were both pairs of shoes that I just could not muster up the compassion to give to Goodwill or to The Salvation Army. They were ready within a week from dropping them off & the price for what I got done was more than reasonable. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a great attitude and was even given the times and days of when the mall has FREE ZUMBA & FREE YOGA!!! This place not only does magic on your shoes, but this place they also make keys!!! You just can't go wrong. Though the Carson Mall, as a whole, is a terrible mall, I'd make the drive anytime I am in need to get a shoe I love fixed!!! Thank you so much for fixing my shoes! I can't wait to bring my other shoes back for you guys to fix, because everyone knows, when you have a shoe that you love, you just can't let them go, kind of like food!!! Ok. Not really, but still!!! read more

I went back to get my shoes, and they were dirty. The heel was fixed. I asked him why were they dirty and the clerk became hostile and aggressive, raised his voice, and told me that I didn't ask him to clean, just fix. I've never had to ask anyone before at any other shop. My first and VERY LAST visit to a place that does not respect the people that pay them!!! read more

These guys are the best. They resole my burks and always do a better job then I expect. And what makes it even better is that they are super nice. I probably haven't been in the store for a half a year and the owner remembered my name. Outstanding! read more

I am very upset! I have a pair of boots that are worn out at the tip so my mom said she would drop them off at Shoe Wiz. She said they would be ready in two days which would be on a Wed. Well today is Thursday and I drove to the carson mall to pick up my brown boots. What I thought would be a quick simple 1 min pickup turned into 20-30 min wait.....watching them endlessly search for my boots. I gave them my receipt and they started searching through all the bags of shoes. I mean its not like we gave them the shoes a couple weeks ago...it was a couple days ago! So finally he was like I don't want you to sit here and wait so give my your number....but then the guy spotted my missing shoes...and guess what....yep your right.....that hadn't touched the shoes. So they told me sorry about the wait can you give us sometime to do what we were suppose to do two days ago! I said sure I will be back this evening or tomorrow to pick up the shoe. I made sure to add in there I will be leaving for atlanta...so they know i'm not playing! They didn't even offer to give me my money back. There is a sign posted that says please pay for your services when you leave your shoes. "Satisfaction is guaranteed".....Well i'm definitely not satisfied...and won't be returning ever again! read more

Shoe Wiz has come in handy for so many of my shoes and purses. They also make duplicate copies of keys! I can't even begin to describe the excellent service the guys have here. They have cut down heels I have brought in and fixed heels on shoes that are worn down. I recommend this place to everyone!!! read more

This place is the best. I had a pair of Uggs, that I love, rip along the side of the boot. They did an awesome job and you can't even tell where they were damaged. They did it in a couple of days and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business. read more

I've taken a few pairs of shoes to Shoe Wiz for repairs and they have done a great job on all the pairs. Work has been replacing heel caps, cleaning my light pink fashion sneakers, cleaning and polishing my tan cowboy boots, replacing soles on a pair of shoes. Great prices and have always had friendly service. read more

went to get two pairs of shoes CLEANED only. no repairs were needed. the bottom of my son's shoes were yellowing and the other was a bit dirty/dusty. paid $35 for the 8c baby shoes to get whitened on the bottom and $10 for the 3c baby shoes to get cleaned on the bottom.. paid $45 upfront. took a week to get them back. when I got them, I seen they just used regular white shoe Polish. I could've done this for $5 myself. I will NEVER go back to this place. they did the least with my son's shoes.. I recommend others trying another place before you come here. read more

Horrible went to get my j's stitched in clean. shoe wiz is my go-to store for polishing supplies and toe taps. my allen edmonds and aldens have been serviced by the gentlemen in the shop, and their work is fine. they are quick and courteous. as far as polishing supplies go, they have a gazillion colors of meltonian, kiwi paste, lincoln paste, and even fiebing's heel & sole edge dressing (!!!), plus many others i'm not interested in. check them out. read more

I get my heels fixed and get a nice free shine. Very professional. They give you a punch card and every time you get you heels fixed they give you a punch. And after you get so many punches you get a pair of heels fixed for free. read more

Awesome, friendly service. They did a great job replacing the bottoms & heels on an old pair of cowboy boots. And for just $35 the price was right and the job was done quickly (one week). Another store tried to charge me more than I paid for the boots and wanted to keep them a month. Thanks Shoe Wiz! read more

A real solid shoe cobbler with great values. In regards to hard-to-fix/polish items, I am neutral. For instance, I had them repaint the soles on some tennis shoes I damaged and they did a great job considering the level of damage. But I had Shoe Wiz polish some loafers with studs through out the shoes and they did a crappy job!(i.e. Polished the steel studs when I paid them to polish around the studs. read more

He stands behind his work! He had put some soles and heels on a pair of shoes about 3 months before and one of the heels came loose. I showed it to kind of expecting to pay a nominal charge but he took care of it at no cost to me. Excellent customer service! read more

Great job, great customer service! Highly recommend it to all my friends! Two thumbs up!

i have been coming here for 8 years and never had a problem , however they recently changed management, the guys that use to run the place , who where very pleasant and patient are gone!! they put the wrong color heel tips on my valentino shoes so i was told to wait and they will fix, i couldn't wait so i returned 10 days later and it took them about 20 mins to find them, once they did i was rudely told dont loose your ticket agin, you just caused my business to back up and i have customers waiting... he totally lost it on me and never looked at the fact i didnt get another ticket and if the job was done correctly the first time we would have this problem... bottom line, they now have rude management and very unprofessional. and its a shame because one guy is very nice, but one messed it up for all .... myself, my family and all my business partners will never go back read more

These guys are not only hard working but their customer service deserves ten stars! My husband and I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. The do a phenomenal job on shoes and purses every time ALL the time. Thank You Michael and Teresa Luna read more

I used to take all my shoes here for repairs. The prices are too high and the work has become substandard.

I am very picky about my shoes, so I gave them one of my inexpensive belts to repair, the results were flawless. I them gave them my D&B belt to repair, again flawless looking new. I then felt comfortable to allow them to customize a pair of Italian dress shoes, which would be considered sacrilege and they created a "one off" pair to die for. I was so impressed with their quality of workmanship that I began to inquire to find out, just who are these people? They are Armenians from families of famous shoe makers in Armenia and have brought their history and passion for shoe making and repair to Carson. I take my wife's shoes and bags to Henry the owner and will have him make me a pair of custom shoes next year. Not only are these guys inexpensive, they are very courteous and friendly. I will go no where else. read more

This is my go to spot for any shoe repair! Heels, Knicks, soles, whatever. I have small calves and they have taken in the shaft of several pairs of boots. They always review what they are going to do and get my permission of the alteration will affect any of the details. I have never been disappointed! read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the dye work on my Gucci handbag. The dye is all over the metal hardware, zipper and the top stitch threading. The dye made a very soft leather hard and "crackling." It looks like they sprayed the handbag with no consideration for the details. Ruined my handbag. read more

Can't say enough about this place, I've had shoe heels repaired, mustard color shoes dyed light grey and they look like I bought them that color, shoe heels cut down because they were too high, belts cut down, zipper fixed on a leather jacket and so on and have never had one complaint. If your shoes need help take them there. read more

Fine for less expensive shoes. If something needs to be fixed...let me just say...keep your receipt! Without one, you will not be able to have their work on your shoes adjusted. To their defense, I should have kept my receipt since I had several pairs of shoes repaired at one time and spent, in my opinion, a decent amount of money on repairs. When the sole fell off the gentlemen requested a receipt, and told me that they hadn't repaired that part of the shoe. He said they don't use clear glue for the soles, they use another color like blue (or something), so he knew it wasn't their work. When I pointed out the heel repair, and mentioned that since it was a wedge, how could they shave down the heel portion without evening out the sole, he became even more harsh. He also requested the soles of the shoes...of course I hadn't brought them. One was in the street, and had been run over...since that's where it came off...and the other was in my car. The gentlemen that took my shoes the first time was kind. But when I took them back the second person acted like I was trying to get something for nothing. None the less, I had no receipt and had paid quite a bit. This place used to be the go to place for my family. Generally the repairs were simple...So...will I take my Stuart Weitzman's there...Nah, I'm good. read more

I was quite skeptical about talking my bag to get fixed but you always have to take chances and I'm glad I did! My chain from my bag broke and I went in there and he offered me a great price and they fixed it within 20 min! i came here just for the handle of my shoulder bag. they did a perfect job in the cutting and sewing back the handle. so clean. however, on my 2nd visit, i had the wedge heels of my pair of sandals dyed black. since, the edge is rubber i told them to leave it as it is when they said there's possibility it might fade easily. when i returned to pick it up i was disappointed bec they had me waited for a week only to see that they didn't dye the heels right. they messed up my sandals where some parts of the rubber edge have paint and some parts have not. in other words, obviously, the dying wasn't done good and carefully. too bad :( read more
