I have to start by saying I was hesitant to go to this place as I was giving up on fixing my sandal's broken strap, most repair places (5 in all) wanted either to overcharge me or do extra stuff that I didn't need, it was just a strap, nothing complicated so I went here after looking them up, my last ditch effort, I love these sandals as they are wide and sturdy and help with my balance issue. This place was straight forward and repaired my beloved sandal in about 10 minutes and the price was so fair, I'll be back and will definitely recommend, thank you for giving my sandals another life. I usually have a great experience with them. I brought in a pair of shoes and was given a quote for a new sole to be put on ..well when I picked up the shoes they only glued down the current sole and charged me 35.00 ...I prepaid for the work so imagine how I felt to pay 35.00 for glue ...on average that is around 8.00 per shoe...I was beyond disappointed because I thought they were a place of integrity...The explanation was so lame and I guess he didn't care because he was already paid but they lost a great customer read more

Very, very disappointed. I took my Louis Vuitton key holder here after going to LV and being told they couldn't repair it because the canvas was cracked. The stitching was coming up and I had remembered this place growing up so I decided to take it here instead of using the place the LV associate recommended to me. Big mistake. It only cost $15 to fix but I am very disappointed. I was a little anxious taking this type of item here but I was assured they would use the proper color thread and it would be nice and straight. The stitching was poorly done and is already coming loose. My item was dirty when it was returned and they used some sort of coloring on it that wasn't there. I don't need to describe anymore, just look at my pictures. I will NEVER take any of my items here again! I feel like I ruined my key holder! read more

I took 3 pairs of shoes her, one was a Christian Louboutin, a nine west shoe and a steve madden shoe. I wanted my red bottoms heel cut down , and a slip pad added to the bottom (done very well)l. The heal on my suede yellow steve madden shoe cracked in half (done very well), but my favorite shoe was the nine west shoe . It is a wedge sandal with gold trimming all over and the trimming started to peel. They replaced the all the trimming with gold leather and they came out perfect. The only reason I gave them a four is because it took longer than initially stated at time of drop off. I would recommend this place they are very nice people. read more

I am so sad all I could do was laugh. They look worse than when I brought them in. It looks like they scrubbed the suede too hard and whatever cleaner they used darkened the color and left them watermarked. The white paint was also sloppily applied and can be seen on the bottom of the shoes. read more

I've been going to Shoe Wiz the last few years and it's time I left a review. It's in a super convenient location next to the Post Office. My husband hates shopping but was complaining that he needed to get new shoes because his current leather shoes for work looked beat. I took 3 pairs of my husband's shoes here to get repaired and they made them look like new! My husband was happy because he didn't have to go shopping, Shoe Wiz made his fav shoes look new again, AND we saved money by not having to buy new shoes. I've also taken a pair of flats to be relined with a new leather sole and Shoe Wiz did a solid job. On another note, I bought a new cross body purse but the strap was a bit too long for my petite size. Shoe Wiz shortened it by 8 inches while I waited a few minutes. This place is THE best, that should be enough praise but I will just elaborate a little to be more convincing. I have been coming here for years for repairs, adjustments, shine, heels, you name it. Several times I have bought expensive boots that I absolutely love but loathe returning because I have big calves and they don't fit. So I come here as a last hope for stretching them to fit and so far I have not had to return anything. There also certain heels that I love but they are just to high for me and they have cut them down to fit comfortably. When you go here for service, you tell them exactly what you need to accomplish, they will tell you yay or nay, pay in advance, and return a few days later to satisfaction simple as that. Really disappointed at the work I received on my phone case! The gentlemen was friendly but the craftsmanship is poor. I came in with a leather iPhone case that needed stitching to keep it bounded. They somehow added some sort of glue on the case and then misaligned it. Then the guy handed it back to me. It looks sloppy and my credit cards don't for in because of the glue! read more

One time he even accommodated me needing to shine my boots at the last min. Carson location is much better than the Cerritos location. One suede men's jacket, it had a milk stain( bb bottle spill), Henry and his team removed that stubborn stain, good as new, ready to wear. Lastly a boys leather jacket, just a cleaning and refreshing. Looks great! Henry and his team at Show Wiz can freshen up that leather or suede jacket for you this winter!
