This little store just keeps getting better & better OuiOui. They have all the same name brands as the mall & DSW but with better prices. It's a very cute little store that is well organized. They also have a small section of name brand casual/athletic wear for men & ladies. When we learned the storm was going to hit our Beach House, Sir Hubbers & I left St Petersburg in such a hurry we left without packing anything. I mean we literally left with nothing. We had some stuff at our Surf Shack but after 5 days of Pirate Savagery without power, we quickly realized we needed some better shoes & clothing for cleaning up our humpy, all the debris in the yard, downed fence etc., We shopped all over town for many things, but we found a lot of things we were looking for here, at Shoe Station. Work boots for Sir Hubbers, rubber flip flops for moi for washing off patios etc., Rugged Casual/athletic wear for working around the yard, BBQing etc., Shoe Station, was right on time & had exactly the goods we needed to get the bloody stormy Pirate jobs done matey, Arrrr! OuiOui. Shoe Station also plays groovy music inside while you shop, has excellent parking & very friendly service. Next time you need Bloody Piratey boots, rubber seafarers bootstraps & pantaloons, sail on over to Shoe Station, it's a worthy destination. Highly recommended. read more

My wife purchased shoes before Christmas and determined they would not fit like she expected and did not wear them again. We put them back in the box, intent on returning them. With all the Christmas wrapping and such, the receipt was misplaced. The next day, I called and was confirmed they would accept the return for exchange (which was the plan anyhow). Because of a hectic holiday work schedule it took about a week for my wife to have time to go do the exchange and now they are refusing the exchange, being rather rude and questioning her honesty on the exchange. I or my family will never shop here again and pass on this abuse. read more

Great selection of shoes yet the space is messy and cluttered. Ladders are blocking the walk way and when asking the staff for assistance they were not very friendly. The check out cashier was friendly. Overall a very depressing store. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has ALWAYS been so helpful in getting you what you need and tracking down shoes/having them shipped to you if they don't have it in stock. I've shopped here for 15+ years. Now they can't do anything apparently because shoe carnival bought them out. They can't order shoes for you, they can't hold a pair of shoes for longer than 24 hours for customers who are traveling a good ways to get a pair of shoes from their store (a pair of shoes I need but have work so I can't just run over there right now- they'll only hold them through close of the day you call, so if they put them back and someone else buys them you're screwed bc THEY CAN'T JUST ORDER THEM FOR YOU ANYMORE), etc. I don't know that I'll be shopping here anymore. New ownership is gonna be the loss of a lot of their customers and income. read more

Shoes? They've got those...by the truckload. The last time that I visited, I was in search of some walking shoes. The selection is better than the sporting goods stores and you can easily find coupons that help decrease the price of the pair that you want. The prices of rubber shoes is ridiculous, but that a rant for somewhere else. The model of New Balance that I had always worn had been discontinued and replaced with a different (NEW!!I IMPROVED!1! COSTS MORE!) model. I grabbed the same size that I always wore in New Balance and jetted away...only to return later because New Balance sizing had changed. Or my 47-year old foot did. I'm betting on NB messing up here. But that has nothing to do with Shoe Station. The store can get chaotic at times and there are usually several employees running around restocking all of the boxes that inconsiderate customers leave in Jenga-inspired stacks all over the place. The staff member that I talked to was quite knowledgeable and helped me find a pair of shoes that fit nicely. A+ on service on the floor! The check-out process can take a while. I have no idea why. There also used to be a security guard in a little booth near the front door. Shoes are expensive, but I didn't realize that the criminal element was attracted to footwear so strongly. The guard may or not still be there...I don't remember if I was paying attention, but I always got a charge out of his presence. Good selection, decent prices, some helpful staff. I should probably give four stars for this joint. read more

Fun place to shop. Found some good deals. Plenty of choices to choose from. Convenient location. Plenty of parking.

My family typically gets all of our shoes from Shoe Station due to the wide selection and specials. We had a very negative experience last night (08/15) with the staff. We walked in 35 minutes before close and they told us they closed in five minutes. They laughed and said they were kidding but that they actually closed in 27 minutes. Another couple walked in a few minutes later and they told them they closed in 5 minutes too. The couple walked out and then they talked loud enough for people to hear that they didn't care and were going to tell everyone that walked in that they close in 5 minutes so they could go. It was uncomfortable and we felt unwanted there. We were completely aware that they closed at 7:00, respected their time and wouldn't have stayed past then, but we did not appreciate how aggressive they were. In other words, great shoe selection, but awful customer service skills. We felt so unwanted and uncomfortable shopping. read more

Great place to TRY ON shoes, terrible place to BUY shoes. Go in, find something that fits and you like, then scan the barcode and you'll see they are 30-50% higher than anywhere else. I just purchased 2 pair of shoes (New Balance and boat shoes) scanned them on Amazon and saved $47! FORTY-SEVEN DOLLARS on two pair of last-season's discount shoes. I asked the attendant if they price matched (like Walmart and Best Buy and Barnes & Noble and DSW and Foot Locker and basically everywhere else) and was told "of course!" Got to the register to learn they don't price match with online stores. Oh well - their loss, my gain! Maybe they shouldn't try to sell 2-year old styles for current prices. In less than 30 seconds I saved MORE money than either pair of shoes cost. I like that they sell wide widths, but unless they decide to join the global economy like every other retail shoe store that price matches, I'll just use them as a showroom for fitting and then just order them online right there in the store and save 50% off their laughable "sale" price. LOL I am ALL FOR paying a bit more to shop locally and get the merchandise that day. But if you were buying two pair of shoes and you could pay $85 OR $130, ask yourself which you would do. I find this price disparity across all of their selection of shoes, which tend to be styles that are several years old. read more

Still have not heard back from the manager. I left my phone number when I called while in the store the first time. I drove 1.25 hours the next day to return the shoes using my husbands copy of the credit card. They wanted my drivers license this time. I was told without a drivers license they would not do a refund, I would have to take a store credit. They evidentially do not want returns. They seem to discourage returns with their policies. Found cashier not to be friendly on this return trip. read more

Shoe Station is probably the largest shoe store in Pensacola. The minute you walk in, you are greeted with the smell of new rubber, and a security guard who will take your shopping bags/purses, etc. until you are done shopping. My wife was helping me find the perfect pair of dress/work shoes for me, since I'm not much of a shopper. As mentioned by Steve H., they have very decent prices. Although, I usually prefer to buy my shoes at the outlet stores in Destin and Foley. You can also find coupons very often for Shoe Station in the Pensacola News Journal. The store is a little unorganized at times though. Last time I came, they were restocking the shelves, and there were boxes all over the place on the floor. It was like trying to walk through a maze. A decent experience overall, but there's still room to improve on. read more

I wouldn't normally have thought to rate a shoe store, but had such a good experience, it would seem unfair not to. I was looking for a pair of deck shoes. When I first entered, was a little disappointed to see three employees chatting by the registers, and none offered to help find anything, so I had to go wandering. Fortunately within a couple of minutes a young man working the floor asked if he could help, and promptly pointed me toward all of the options I was looking for. I found the shoes that seemed to be the best choice for me, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a discount at checkout when the cashier applied a coupon. After leaving, we stopped at a few other stores, and found none of them to be as good as this. In particular was surprised to find that DSW had less selection, did not have as many half-sizes and wide sizes as this store, and on top of that, the same shoes that I had bought at this store were priced about 40% higher. Unfortunately when I got home and started walking in them, I quickly realized that one shoe rubbed in a way that might cause a blister if I wore them for long. Today I returned with the shoes, and was pleasantly surprised at how readily the cashier handled the return, as soon as I walked in the door. So I did a little more shopping, found a similar pair and chose them, even though they were more expensive - sometimes you get what you pay for. But at the register, the cashier (the same one who handled my return) took my previous receipt and from it applied a coupon to this purchase, making a nice discount. So, from the best selection to the best prices in a weekend of shopping around, this place will be my first place for shoe shopping from now on. Keep up the good work! read more

They have alot of shoes but...........The customer service is non exsistent, the prices are no better than any where else, the management is rude and if you should have to go back with an issue..... " They Are Not Authorized " for that. They act as tho you are a bother as they take your money with a look of distain on their faces. I will NEVER go back there ! This place is ok and has a wide variety of shoes. I don't really notice any difference in shoe prices from other stores.
