So 2 years ago hubby bought me these Gucci Water Tiger slides for my birthday & I have been looking for another pair, can't find them anywhere.. Anyhoo, we built a little patio in my garden have been putting stone paths thru it & the other day we were working on the back steps that leads to the garden, I came down them & my slide went sideways, it tore, I went down. Yep, I blew my flip flop :( With cuts & bruises all over, I decided I fancied a new pair of slides, so off to DSW we went! The only place I like to go for shoes is DSW unless it's Gucci & we don't have one of those here :( This store is nice. It has a lot of the usual brands. It's not as nice as the DSW in Addison, Texas. They have a giant designer section that does have Gucci sometimes. I bought hubby a pair of Gucci boots he loves at the Addison, Texas store. Yay!! :)) Anyhoo, this store is not as nice. And they didn't have anything I fancied at the moment. So I did what most girls do. I started crying & hubby knew just what to do. Hubby took me to Lowe's! LOL He bought some super duper Gorilla glue, cleaned up, glued up my favorite Water Tiger flip flops & had them ready for me the next morning. Best hubby on the planet! :)) I'm back to bouncing & fannying about town no problemo. I hope DSW gets some better inventory soon bc this store's inventory is seriously lacking in the "Water Tiger" pirate style department. Meow! Arrrr! Will return.

She taught me an incredible amount about the type of shoe that is right for me, and most importantly why. She went through a great process of helping me select the best shoe for how I run. She also introduced me to the magic that is toe socks. This was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Running Wild to anyone who wants expert input on selecting a running shoe or running associated gear. They literally have everything you need for running. We have all gotten so used to Amazon. Well online stores can't give what I received today. First I had soo many questions i thought for sure I was being annoying but the employee John gave me reassurance that they are a community bike shop and to ask away. I was initially interested in electric bike but after talking to John I decided that wasn't a great decision for me. Then he helped me pick out multiple bikes to give a test spin outside! We also connected on a few other topics which was so nice. I asked about locks and I got the full run down on that as well. I went in to get a new tube for my friends bike with a few questions and walked out with a new (used) bike and lots of knowledge! Plus two free tune ups. Remember if you buy a bike online no free tune ups and no meeting cool guys like John! Support your local bike shops and stop buying shitty ones from Walmart or online! Last thing is if John was not so patient and kind I most definitely would not have made my purchase. So much good happened I forgot to mention they were also able to fix my friends bike tired same day!

I had Tom help me repair my tire and tube. He asked me questions and was very present, curious, and made sure I knew what he knew and what he could do about helping me with my bike. Every single person in the store was pleasant to be around including all of the staff. Great vibes for weird times during this virus. I'll be back!Tom!
