pretty rude employees. very misleading sales and product arranged around the store. I picked up a polo shirt that was very clearly marked $24.99. I asked an employee to make sure it was that price and he confirmed. I brought it up to the register and it rang up as full price. I asked her about it and she replied with "it very clearly wasn't part of that sale" I mentioned how an employee confirmed that it was part of the sale. She brought the employee to the register to tell me it wasn't part of the sale. just very rude people read more

Terrible online buying experience! First place less than 24 hours after purchase someone tried to use my card at a 7-11. My bank stopped it. Called bank and said my number was hacked by an online order--Dicks Sporting goods was only online order that I made in months. Second it took 14 days for my order from Dicks to arrive. I kept calling Dicks on where is my package and then only answer I could get is it's on the way. I will never purchase from Dicks again!!! read more

6/30/2016--I called ahead looking for rain boots. After being on hold and bounced around, I was told that it would be best to come in store. So I drive to the store and go to the shoe section where I'm told by an employee that they don't sell rain boots in store, only online, and that they never have sold them in store. What??!! What a waste of a trip. They only sell sneakers. Please train your employees better. read more

Dick's is a great place for all your fishing needs. The employee who helped me out was very friendly. I got my fishing reel spooled and a fishing license. If you're not from Florida but you have a military ID, annual fishing licenses (freshwater and saltwater) are $33.50. The store is very clean and easy to navigate through. I recommend Dick's for all your sporting needs. read more

Had the weirdest/worst customer service experience here. Saw price tag for Maxfli Matte golf balls was listed as 2 for $30 or $21.99 each. When paying, the cashier said that each box rang up for full $21.99 each. I informed her what the sign said and she quickly asked floor manager to verify. She said the floor manager said it was Top Flight golf balls that were 2 for $30, and she offered to swap for them. I told her no thanks, as I wanted the Maxfli balls so she cancelled my purchase. I immediately walked over to the display case and confirmed that the sale price was listed. The floor manager was standing right next to me and said "yeah, you're right" and then quickly ripped down the sale sign and quickly walked back towards the golf section. When I went to go ask if he was going to tell the cashier that so I could purchase the balls, he disappeared into an employees only section. I looked back at the cashier and she was busy with another customer. So essentially I'm just standing there asking my gf what the heck just happened?? I get it, it's summer, customers probably can be a bit much sometimes, and you probably don't want to be working on a Sunday. But at least try to hide your IDGAF factor to the customers. Again, was the weirdest experience. I'll be looking to purchase my golf stuff elsewhere. read more

I really struggled trying to decide which was worse-Their RUDE customer "service" or their ridiculous high prices!! So I decided they are both equally poor and unacceptable! My most recent, and LAST, visit is a prime example. They had Alabama National championship poor quality TEE SHIRTS priced at $35!!! Lol, riiiiiiiiight, good luck with that!!! Then as I waited in line, the employee (who apparently could only afford half a haircut) yelled "NEXT!!!" when it was my turn. Not a "may I help you" or "may I serve the next customer please"! Not sure how they stay in business! read more

Terrible customer service every time I walk in the door. Don't even try to get help in the Golf section, you could play 18 holes and still not receive service in the time it takes them to help you. Shoes?? Good luck, it's a free-for-all. You need to try on some clothes? Your better off buying them, taking them home and trying them on than you are wandering around the store trying to find someone to unlock the dressing room door. My kid needed a bigger bookbag/backpack for school. Should be a simple in and out trip. It was the holidays, so parking is usually a hot commodity during this time: I parked in the last spot available and took a long scenic stroll across the mall parking lot. I expected it to be packed inside and it was relatively busy. The only thing was, aside from the workers at the registers, there were no workers to be found on the floor. So I wandered around aimlessly looking for bookbags. I did find hiking backpacks but it was a bit much to carry books at a middle school. I guess if she were camping at school or taking daily hiking trips, I'd have opted for one. So she and I walked around some more looking for anyone who resembled a worker. I thought places hired extra people during the holidays, but I guess not. That or they were all at the registers. Eventually we walked to the other side of the store and found some associate helping some random lady asking about color coordinating an Under Armour shirt because a sporting goods store is known for fashion sense. I interrupted them because I had been walking around for thirty minutes looking for bookbags without any luck finding them or an associate. The person directed me to the other corner of the store. I knew I should have put on sneakers today. Anywho, so the secton had bookbags hung up in a high spot and I sorta hurt my shoulder trying to get one down. You know, I probably should have asked an associate but since there's only one on the floor for the whole store, I didn't want to bug her since she was helping someone with their wardrobe. I let my kid pick the one she wanted, but we decided to come back on the way out since we had another stop in the mall to make. On the way back, it looked like someone had cleaned up the mess I made (I had gotten a few down off the high hanging hooks but couldn't stick them back up). So I can only guess the lone associate made her way to the end of the store. We went to the checkout and waited on the three open registers for a good 10-15 minutes. Actually there were four ipen, but one of the associates from one had to jump in and help another for a return. So three registers and two doing returns....one open register for the holidays. Yeah, there was a long line. As I was finally called to check out, some random lady asked the guy at my register about yeti cups. For some reason, he answered me instead of the lady behind him. I gave this experience two stars only because it was slightly odd and entertaining at the same time. Next time, I'll go to Academy or order online. I'd probably get more help elsewhere anyway. read more
