I spotted some top brand names like north face , marmot, etc. all reasonably priced. They also had some adidas , Nike gear as well. The store is newly opened but I was really impressed. David, the owner was very friendly and enjoyable to chat with a bit. His daughters are adorable & their dog!I love the idea and concept of Otterback Outfitters and I hope they do very well! I overheard two customers expressing their surprise and unhappiness. I wanted to try on a pair of pants at 8:40 PM and was told the dressing rooms closed at 8:00 PM. Totally ridiculous! I dropped the pants and immediately left! This used to be one of the best clothing stores in Lynchburg. Now I don't even shop here due to the policies as mentioned, rude employees and lack of selection. I can definitely see why they are struggling. Take your business elsewhere!

I worked here from August 2016 to January 2017. There are many changes in management, which really…read moresucked. Every time a new manager was hired, they would hire more people- even though we didn't need as many as they hired. I'm not complaining, but it was definitely frustrating having to remind your own management that you existed. They put me, as well as many others, on "seasonal" and told us we would be back in August (2017). Somehow, none of us got called back to work. It would've been nice if we had actually been notified that we were no longer working there. I reapplied (I was told to do so by the current manager), and even got called back to a group interview. I was told that I was at the top of their list, and they were most likely going to hire me back... but I was never called back. I came in to ask why, and they told me that the DM said I didn't have enough sales to be hired back.. even though my sales were never bad and they had told me that they had already checked my sales and were impressed when I had been interviewed. --- Also, on a positive note, the stock room is pretty tidy, the employees are kind for the most part, the music is good, and it's a pretty positive environment. The shoes are good quality, and so are the other items they sell. The employees definitely try their best, and they deserve respect for the hard work they do.

Just wish this…read morestore would have been the first place we visited for bras and a prosthesis rather than the Seasons Boutique at the Alan B Pearson Cancer Center. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is diagnosed with breast cancer and needs to undergo a mastectomy. The fitters at this store truly know what they are doing and also understand what insurance will cover. My mom and I visited here based on the recommendation of a family friend. I called ahead of time to inquire about making an appointment for a fitting for post-mastectomy bras and a prosthesis. The woman with whom I spoke was very kind, quickly explained the process and indicated that she needed to get the orders from my mother's doctor which should take a day or two and once they had that, she would call to move forward with scheduling an appointment. She requested some personal information on my mother as well as her insurance. I appreciated that she was well versed in what Medicare would cover. A few days later, the store contacted me to let know they had the orders, and we scheduled an appointment. The boutique doesn't look like much from outside but the inside and the people are completely amazing. We arrived a little early for our appointment and they were able to take us right back. Sandra was our fitter and we just loved her personality and attitude and she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The fitting room is cozy but they have such a plethora of bras, colors and prosthesis options. My mother had previously worked with the Seasons boutique at the Alan B Pearson Cancer Center to obtain two bras and a prosthesis but has been disappointed with what she purchased from there. The bras available at Absolute Perfection Bra-tique are practical, beautiful and are exactly what my mother needed following her single mastectomy. Even the prosthesis options were lighter and more comfortable. On our initial visit we walked out with a bra, a prosthesis just for swimming and exercise, a specially designed swimsuit and a headscarf. The prosthesis and 5 more bras are on order and the store will ship them directly to my mother's home address. The store indicated that they would file the bras and two prostheses with her insurance and my mother would not receive a bill.
