He sat on the floor and helped my mom try on shoes. This is the type of service that makes me loyal for life. I will go out of my way to find a Rack Room Shoes whenever I need something. I came in on a Friday night , a few minutes before they were going to be closing. The staff greeted me soon as I walked in. I was able to browse around the store. Initially I didn't see anything but I did find a pair of white Sperry slides that were reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a second pair at 50% off. No problem. I was pleased with my one pair. They do not accept wallet pay here either. Overall, this was a cool visit. Customer service was friendly at checkout.

I went in last week looking for a shirt for my husband to be told that "True Grit" no longer made this shirt and was directed to another shirt which I bought. I did ask if I could return and was told yes. I later looked up True Grit and found that they indeed still made the shirt and I was able to order which I did. When I went to return the shirt I had purchased, I was told that their system did not allow them to put the amount back on my card and I would have to take a store credit. This is not told to me when I asked is I could return and it is nowhere on the receipt that this is their practice. Now I have $300 on a charge card for a $150 shirt. If this is what there policy is, they need to tell you upfront or at the list print on the receipt. They could have offered a cash return knowing I was upset or at least get a new system that will allow them to credit your credit card.
