0 stars if I could!! Ruined my brand new heels by opening and closing the seems 5 times because they just WONT MEASURE MY FEET EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. They are never on time either so we go out of our way to arrive just for them to say oh it's not actually ready and this happened many times. read more

Every time I reach out to this place and get Roger specifically my issue is resolved almost instantly, he knows his stuff and he has amazing customer service. I tell everyone I know about this place. It is a hidden gem in century city. Highly recommend. Thank you Roger read more

I must be the unlucky one because this place was a nightmare. I've taken several shoes and a few accessories, and every single item has been a disappointment to receive back and some were irreversibly damaged by them. Even the simple things I needed done with my shoes were poorly done, and the shoes started ungluing quickly after getting them back. The other items they worked on they either damaged by them thoughtlessly deeply scratching them and carelessly applying leather stains on the to parts they shouldn't have. I wish I would've never heard about this place and I wish I would have never gone here. I'm so disappointed and also angry because all my things they ruined were very expensive and one of the things they damage irreversibly was my grandfather's. It's not worth the chance, just don't go here. read more

If I could leave a zero rating I would. I took my brand new leather boots here to get the calf stretched. They fit, but need a little bit of wiggle room, maybe a half an inch. Every single time I went back, which was every day for a week, they fit exactly the same. Not sure what these people think it means to stretch boots but they truly didn't do anything. In fact, I every day I went in they were back in the original box. Not even sure they attempted to stretch them. When I asked for a refund they refused even though they CLEARLY didn't do the work. Do not come here, they'll ruin your shoes and your day. read more

A complete joke of a business. Dishonest staff who pass the buck when there's a problem. Definitely avoid the century city location.

Terrible, if zero stars was possible I would have selected it. I have been waiting for them to provide me a pair a shoes I gave to them over a month ago. They keep lying saying they will call me in a couple days. i have gone to the store several times and spoken to three different people who all said a manager would call. read more

will not have your shoes ready at it's scheduled day not even the next day at that. please don't plan anything important if you need your shoes back by a certain day read more

WOW I wish I took pictures of these shoes before just to show how messed up they were. I took pretty good care of these shoes. I waxed them and always used wood shoe trees. But I was at an indian wedding where I took my shoes off for the service and when I picked them up again they had a massive scrape on the side. I dropped these shoes off on Friday and they said they could have it done by Monday. I asked them to delay it so they finished it up on Thursday. These shoes looked BRAND NEW when I picked them up. I couldn't even find the spot that was scraped up and all of the other blemishes were taken care of as well. Whole service cost just under $60. There are a lot of cheaper places out there. But this one definitely is worth the money. read more

This place was absolutely the worst! The girl at the front desk was beyond rude! I took my vintage belt that was too big to get shortened by a few inches. When I picked up my belt, I noticed that they added holes all the way around which now changed the whole look of the belt. I told the girl at the front that maybe she made a mistake and possibly given me someone else's belt...She refused at first to show me the other belts and then just became straight out rude! I am not sure what happened here but this was the strangest interaction I have ever had! Still don't know what happened to my belt! read more

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. I dropped several pairs of shoes off and paid upfront to have them done by Saturday. I wasn't going to be here over the weekend and my flight wasn't until Monday night so I told them to take the extra time and have them ready by Monday at 10am. It's now 1:21pm and my shoes which they sent out are not here and not finished. No phone call to give me a heads up, worst customers service and follow through I've ever seen. Disspicable. read more

I brought my shoes to be repaired, I needed it cleaned and repaired for an event. They told me that to have them cleaned it was going to be $50, but if I wanted them perfect (completely repaired) it was going to cost $90. I did not ask for a discount. I was very specific those were my favorite shoes and I really needed by a certain date. They sent me a text that the shoes were ready for pick up, I drove all the way to century city and the shoes weren't there. The guy told me he acknowledged the text but the shoes weren't ready. I came back the next day, shoes were painted a different matted color. My heart stoped. I was about to go on a trip for an event and there was no time. So the guy told me to take them as it was and bring them back when I return from my trip, which I did. Left the shoes there, again! Explained to him that my sandals had a sheen and the color was wrong also the inserts weren't glued properly. That was on a Tuesday, the guy told me to pick up Friday. I showed up a week later, the shoes weren't there. Another bs excuse that they were trying to match the color but it was rubbing off. Well, I never authorized them to paint my shoes in the first place. They were supposed to be cleaned NOT painted! Finally two days later they delivered them to my door. Completely ruined. The color is still wrong, the inserts were not glued and I paid $90 up front without asking any questions or haggling. Do not take your shoes to this place. read more

When I walked in to drop off my shoes I noticed the floor was very dirty. I figured they were just very busy & did not have a chance to sweep it up yet. They told me to come back the next day to pick up my shoes. So I come back the next day & they make different excuses why it's not ready yet. By the way, the floor still looked very dirty & unswept. They said come back the next day & it would be ready for sure. So I come back the next day & it is ready, but they put a different insole than they agreed when I first brought the shoes. Again, for the third day in a row the floor was dirty & unswept, & when I turned around to leave I was not surprised when I saw a cockroach running across the floor. Take you business elsewhere. read more

I have been going to them for probably 7 years. Roger is amazing and so is everyone else Ricky and I can't remember the beautiful woman's name but they are amazing. I had a pair of Gucci boots that were done. And they have them looking better than new. Like it is unbelievable what they are able to accomplish. I get tons of shoes stretched and Roger was even able to stretch a show a whole size for me. I also had a pair of louboutins that I have not been able to wear for three years. They were brand new. Ricky has the sling back replaced so now they don't fall off when I walk. I just wore them for the first time ever this week. I'm about to take my Chanel purses to be cleaned. I feel like I'm getting a whole new wardrobe with all the cleaning and repairing. read more

They did a great job refurbishing an old pair of shoes. I was impressed that they matched the new sole exactly to the original. I got the shoes back with an air bubble that squeaked, but they very promptly took the shoes back and fixed that with no problem whatsoever. Awesome repair on my hubby's shoes. Our brilliant puppy figured out how to open the closet and chewed out my husband's favorite pair of boots. We took it to a few places and they didn't bother looking at it when we explained what happened and turned us away. I was a bit skeptical when Shoe Lab said they can repair it. They did an amazing job. I told them I honestly don't care how long it takes to fix it but they assured me it would be done in a few days. Well, took longer than expected but again, I didn't care as long as they can repair it. I'm ecstatic the way came it out. Priciest shoe store I've ever been to but they did an amazing job! Minus one star due to the price but we were willing to pay the price due to the damages caused by our cute puppy. read more

Shoe Lab - Top is before Shoe Lab fixed the damage made by our 3 month old puppy and Bottom the is miracle work they did - Shoe Repair Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Three months ago, I came to Shoe Labs for an emergency. The finish on my newly-purchased boots was ruined. Not knowing proper care of leather finishes on shoes, I had used a regular shoe brush (not horsetail) that scratched off the lovely reddish-brown finish. I went there in a panic. The young man there - I forgot his name - explained the process by which they restore leather finishes, teaching me a thing or two, and recommending products to buy that I can use in the future. When I got the shoes back, the scratches were gone, but I noticed that instead of the deep red color the boots were now a dull red-brown. He said that they carefully matched the color, and I do not doubt him, but I missed the shinier red that was the original finish. Now I am getting to the part why I give these guys 5 stars. I tried the shoes at home, and my 4-year-old son tells me how the shoes now are "pooh brown." I was surprised that he noticed the change, but, knowing him, not so surprised about his colorful wording! I had a trip out of state in a few days, and I thought to keep the shoe as is, but I gave in to the impulse in me to take it back. The young man took back the shoes for NO CHARGE, refinished them in a gorgeous red, and returned them back in two days - a day or two before my trip. What's more, the owner of the store did the work himself. Needless to say, this is my go-to shoe repair place from now on. read more

I work in Century City, so Shoe Lab is super convenient. I know that I am most likely paying a little more because of the area, but the convenience outweighs the price mark-up for basic buffing and refinishing. My shoes turn out great looking, just like new, and I can go shopping and/or run other errands while I'm waiting. The customer service has been very good. I'm not giving it five stars because when I had a larger job - completely resoling and major buffing - the price was pretty steep. I found another place by my house that did it for $20 less. I would take my shoes here if money was not an issue any time, however. Quality and customer service are excellent. read more

TERRIBLE! They said they were going to have re-dye a pair of new sneakers that pants had rubbed off on. When I picked them up, they were clearly not re-dyed but just cleaned, as the clerk said. When I asked them to adjust the price for just the cleaning, they said no and that they had been re-dyed. This place is a rip-off. Will never go back or recommend, ever!! read more
