I recently had an event where I ordered boots and they didn't show up in time ... in a rush I found this local store and was surprised at the variety of shoes. I have lived near here for a bit but never went in and regretting that now lol. Upon walking in as an alternative tattooed gal the clothes section is not for me but the shoes!!! So many brand and styles and I was able to find a cute black boot easily. I also noticed about 5 other shoes I'll be going back for. While I feel I'm not the marketed clientele it has everything I could want. Also felt the prices were pretty low. The boot I got was about $70 and the material feels soft and looks great. read more

Do not buy anything from this store. We brought back a pair of brand new shoes never worn in the box with the receipt. In addition, we've had the shoes less than 30 days. The owner informed us that there was a dog hair on the box and they could not take the shoes back. The man identified himself as the owner what an absolute disgrace. this is the Holcomb Bridge shoe gallery location. Okay we all know to get the best prices and the best selection you have to shop around especially when it comes to shoes for fit and comfort. There are a lot of shoe places such as DSW Warehouse, rack room shoes, off Broadway, Red Wing shoes, Skechers, etc. I would like to add shoe gallery to the list. It has various locations in the Atlanta Metro area. What I like about shoe gallery is the various brands and their clearance section. If you're like me and try to order shoes online like Zappos or Amazon you always have to return because they don't fit right. Yes you'll have to get up out of your recliner and get to the store but that's really the only way to know what fits your shoe size and your arches. Here's a tip go to any running store and they can measure your arches and see if you overpronate or supinate and based on that information you can find a brand and model in my case it was Hoka Bondi or Brooks diad and then find the model or something that will work at shoe gallery. I have found that if you don't want to pay over $100 just for the name Skechers is very good and often they can be found at every department store including Kohl's Macy's JCPenney and of course their own stores. Back to shoe gallery I like the fact that they've been around a while because they're family owned and the salesman are always nice and help as well as the front desk cashier's who can find a size for you at another store if the current store you're at is out of that size. For women they also have pocketbooks and a nice assortment of kids shoes and sandals and for men they also have belts and wallets.Give shoe gallery a try when you need to find a shoe and if it fits buy it! read more

Truth be told, I sometimes buy shoes on line. (One can find deals on Ebay for London Fly, Frye and Fitflop -- brands that I consistently like.) But when I buy retail, I always go to Shoe Gallery. In fact, it's become 'our thing' when my daughter comes in from NY. Today I loaded her up with four pairs. There is a huge selection. Being a bargain shopper, I'm pleased to get at least 20% off most times I'm there. (Make sure you sign up at the register, since just knowing about the discount doesn't suffice.) Despite the name, Shoe Gallery also sells women's clothing -- nice clothing! -- but not cheap. There are a few discount carousels, which generally don't have anything that interests me, but I always throw an eye. Also jewelry! Fun costume jewelry at different price points, all pretty affordable. And purses. All told, this is a store worth checking out. read more

I was denied entry to the store because I had my laptop bag with me. (Women carrying large purses seem to be more than welcome, however?!) I'm not comfortable leaving a $2,000 laptop in the car in their parking lot, nor am I okay with leaving it unguarded at their front counter. I purchased a pair of sneakers from Shoe Gallery Online, I ordered them in blue. Rather than say they were out of stock it automatically defaulted to another color. When they came in black and I realized what happened I emailed and got a response from William who was so rude. He offered me 25% off to keep the ugly black Ones or I could pay to return them after their mistake of sending the wrong ones. I told him it was poor customer service and got no response. My husband called there for me while I was at work and William was even more rude!! Buyer beware!!! They make a mistake and you pay the return!!! Awful experience! Shoes, Shoes and more damn Shoes. I walked in and looked to my left and I thought "Well WTH is this? I thought this was a shoe store?". Then I looked straight ahead and I saw a girls dreams. Shoes! Rows and Rows and Boxes and Boxes of SHOES! Kind of like a DSW, but not as expensive and better looking shoes....And to make it all better all of the shoes where on sale! 30%, 50% and 70% off (Or something like that!). Where do you start one might ask?...Girl start on the left side and work your way over to the right side where the cash register is! I suggest that you go down each row. There are so many shoes here and such a mixed selection of the shoes that you want to make sure you see them all. I wish they were more organized by the type of shoe. Like Flats, Pumps, Boots, Wedges, Stripper, etc. That would make it a little easier since there are sooo many shoes to choose from. They do have men's and children's shoes as well. I saw several purses and other accessories as well. Hell I think the left side of the store had clothes over there, but all I could see were shoes. And nothing else mattered at the moment! This store use to be my favorite protein place to shop and I recommended it to all my friends. I have been shopping there for over 5 years. They are family owned and they need to work on their customer service skills the older mail manager is unfriendly and has very poor customer service skill. I have been in several times before this and thought the same thing. I tried to return a purse with a receipt and because my toddler had some how gotten the slip/off tag off the handle while it was in a bag next to his car seat, they refused to return it. No store credit was offered. I bought it thinking it was cute but found something I liked better at other retail store. The handbag was not used and was in perfect condition just missing the tag which was on a looped string. I asked to speak to the owner but he was not in. The lady coming out of the back said support whatever the manager says. Also, they couldn't return it because the slip-off tag was missing and they would have to sell it as used. They might consider different tagging on their bags. I have never encountered a policy like this and was told it was because they are "family owned". I left disgruntled and very angry. I will not shop at this place again because I felt they have poor customer service and this ridiculous return policy. There are several other stores near by that have similar products and prices. They also have friendly service and better return polices with returns. read more

Don't let the name fool you - Shoe Gallery is more than shoes. Oh, sure - they have a big selection of footwear for men and women, but they also have a sizable women's clothing and accessories section and they're a Pandora retailer as well. When I'm on the hunt for a specific type or color of shoe, SG is one of my destinations. They carry a large selection of shoes and (usually) a pretty good cross section of sizes. One favorite section is the back wall - also known as Odds-n-Ends - where the shoes are an additional 50% off the marked price. The selection here is random, but when you score, you score big - like awesome leather boots for $25... SG carries popular names like Nine West, Bernie Mev, Sperry, Cole Haan and Clarks and others, with lesser known brands scattered throughout the store. The women's clothing section is also a big draw for me - SG carries some national lines (NYDJ, etc.) but for the most part their inventory is unique and not something you'll find in every mall chain store. Be prepared for some sticker shock if you're browsing the regular priced items, though. My advice is to head directly for the sales racks to find the best buys on clothing. Same advice for the jewelry, handbags and scarves. SG will often put sale accessories on a display at the entrance to the store, so take a moment to browse as you walk in. Shoe Gallery has been in the same location (corner of Holcomb Bridge and Hwy 9) for almost forever - at least, as long as I've been in North Fulton...25 years and counting. This is a no frills, bare bones place - virtually no decor, but plenty of room to browse, several places to sit and try on shoes and helpful associates. They also run regular sales and once you're on their mailing list, will send coupons for additional percentages off your purchase. It's worth battling traffic on Hwy 9 or Holcomb Bridge to visit Shoe Gallery, and that says a lot. read more

I love this store and shop here at least every 3-4 weeks and have been for years. I was in the Roswell store this week and about to buy a top but it had a stain on the front. The sweet girl at the register found my size at the John's Creek store but I didn't want to pay shipping. I called the Johns Creek store and Donna was so helpful! She found the top and texted me a picture to confirm and then had Don (the manager) call me to ship to me with no shipping fees. Don was so wonderful and helpful! And the best part was I had the top the very next day! Love it and will tell all my friends this great story! read more

Might as well be placed in shackles and chains upon entering the door. I have been coming to this store since it opened and I'm always made to feel like I'm a potential criminal. Horrible customer service, the staff working the floor are by no means there to help you, but to keep close eyes on you to make sure you don't shove a pair of shoes in your pockets. Invest in some security cameras and let your customers to actually enjoy their shopping experience! Almost walked out of the store several times today to pay full price somewhere else! Nice place, with nice prices! My only dislikes are: 1.) The quality of customer service. Don't get me wrong, the employees aren't extremely rude or anything - they just have that "I-don't-want-to-be-here" attitude. Most of the employees are older, which reflects on the sense of style. However, there are a few great and fresh-items available for younger folks (ages 18-35). 2.) Their return policy. C'mon Shoe Gallery! Get with the program. Everyone else has fantastic and reasonable return policies. 3.) Their website. I love shopping online, but it's not worth shopping on Shoe Gallery's website. I don't think it positively reflects the variety of items that they have in the store. They have a lot of great brand purses and accessories but don't count on finding much online. Their "search" bar isnt very efficient either. You have to capitalize the brand/entire word in order to see results. read more

I was looking for some boots for work and bought a pair of shoes for 70$, wore them for an hour and decided they were too uncomfortable to wear all day. I had the box still and the receipt and took them back to the store to either return or exchange them; and they would not take them back. The manager said they had a mark on the bottom of the shoe. I'm sorry, but a store should allow you to return an item within at least a week if they were dissatisfied. What a waste of money, I will never shop at a Shoe Gallery again! read more

I walked in here on a whim because I needed to kill some time. At first, I confused it with Shoe Carnival, but this is not the same store/chain. I thought the selection was terrific. They had Fly London shoes, which are hard to find around here. They had great sneaker variety for women and best of all, the salesperson was super nice and helpful. I thought it was going to be similar to Famous Footwear but no way...great selection. As for pricing, I'm not real sure how it compares, but I bought a pair of sandals that were available on Amazon for less. I'm thinking of returning and getting the better deal, however, it should be noted that they do have a coupon program, of which I wasn't yet a member of, that might have saved me money. My review is based on an online experience. I had purchased a pair of sandals that had some wear and tear after wearing them few times. After researching through various shoe brands and models, I finally found a pair that I was sold on. After perusing a number of online shoe sellers, I happened upon ShoeGalleryOnline.com. SG offered the lowest price and included free shipping for orders of $59.99 and above. I currently live in GA, but I am moving to VT at week's end. I discovered after I placed my order that Shoe Gallery is based out of Atlanta, and they have a location in Roswell just north of Sandy Springs. I called to see if I could try on the shoes before having them shipped, and they were only too happy to oblige. Will Brooks, one of the company's online sales specialists, actually offered to hand-deliver the shoes to the Roswell store since that location was more convenient for me than the Midtown one! I received a follow-up call from Will this morning informing me that the shoes were on-hand, I quickly located them at the front counter, and I am happily taking them with me to VT. Shoe Gallery's physical stores in ATL and its online presence are wonderful additions to the larger, non-customer service oriented shoe brokers. I called to see if it could be done online and Will said that it could, but why didn't he just get the information from me now, so I didn't have to do it on my phone while trying to get lunch. I attempted to return a ring to the jewelry department as it was about 2 sizes too large. They refused to provide a credit. Finger was sized by the "manager" prior to ordering the ring as it was not in stock. The ring came in 2 sizes to large. I fully explained the problem several times. Their mistake not mine. Finally the "manager" came over and reviewed the situation. After looking at the cash register for about 10 minutes, she stated no credit would be issued. She was cold, rude, and arrogant. I'm really very disappointed by all three of my experiences at Shoe Gallery. While there is a large selection of shoes, there isn't a wide variety, the same cheap (quality) shoe, different colors. What doesn't help is the customer service... or lack there of. I've never been greeted or even acknowledged, even at the register. The managers (I've seen two) consistently appear frazzled. The cashiers are uncertain. I did purchase a pair of shoes on a time crunch for a funeral. I had them on for an hour and a half and the quality was obvious. I was speaking with a coworker that had the same sentiments in regards to another of their locations. So between poor variety, cheap quality and the lack of customer service, I'll pass. read more

I just purchased FIVE pairs of shoes from this store. One of them had to be ordered to get my size. When it came I checked the box and the shoes to make sure I received the right ones. A couple of days later I wanted to wear them and discovered they had been mislabeled and were at least a size too small. Since one of the other pairs was identical I took it and the too small pair along with receipts and the order sheet into the store for them to see the problem and to exchange it. I was told they would not accept it because I didn't have the box. I asked why they couldn't use the box from the ones I would be getting in exchange. I was told they were no longer available and they were very sorry but there wasn't anything they could do. Understand this entire process took place during about 8 days from first ordering to receiving and trying to return. I will NEVER darken their doorway again and will tell everyone I know just how well they treat their customers. read more
