Something has changed and now he gets frustrated REALLY easy and has to be told instructions over and over and over again. He has had some of my items for a while now, and each time I come back either something isn't complete or has to be redone and I have to repeat the exact same instructions from the previous visit. I understand why some items have taken a while, but I know that he is not working on my other items in the meantime because he is "too busy". He is now openly expressing his frustrations with me when it is he who doesn't understand and doesn't write down or remember the instructions. And when giving the instructions I don't feel confident he understands them. While there is a language barrier, it isn't that. He doesn't like to "hear" what you are saying when he is frustrated. Which is almost every time I come to check on my items. I watch other people come into the store while I am there and he treats them like they are royalty. I feel like since I am a returning customer, who brings a lot of high end business to him, he should treat me the same or better! I have a lot more purchases that I was going to bring to him. I will not do this now. I will ONLY bring new items to him if I can't make it to Atlanta due to his customer service. Make sure he gives you a timeframe of when the items can expect to be completed and that he writes everything down and you should be fine, I hope. I will edit this review if his attitude changes.

Samsonite gave me the option to bring my suitcase here in person for a manufacturer's warranty…read moreclaim instead of mailing it in, which sounded convenient in theory. In practice, walking into this place felt less like entering a repair shop and more like stumbling into the afterlife of luggage. Maybe there is a system hidden somewhere in the chaos, but the only places I have seen with comparable levels of clutter were antique stores, thrift shops, and the occasional junkyard. If your suitcase has ever wondered what comes after baggage claim, apparently this is it. The storefront is also easy to miss. The sign mainly advertises leather and shoe repair, with luggage repair seeming like a last-minute footnote. For reference, it is on the left side of the grocery store, near the end of the strip, on the corner. Helpful, because the sign is not exactly doing the heavy lifting. When I dropped off my bag, I explained the issue and the owner made a noise that strongly suggested he had already seen this movie and knew how it ended. His official response was, "we will see what they say." Sure enough, within 2-3 days I got notice that Samsonite would not cover the repair. That meant driving back out to Sandy Springs before the 14-day deadline so my suitcase would not be discarded. I cannot prove anything improper, but I definitely left with the impression that the inspection outcome was not exactly a suspense thriller. Picking up the bag was its own experience. The two employees had trouble locating it, which was not especially reassuring given the sheer volume of items stacked everywhere. I was one suggestion away from joining the search party myself. The whole scene felt like a hoarder's garage sale with a repair counter. While I was there, another customer was picking up shoes and did not sound especially thrilled with either the wait or the quality. From what I understand, this business used to be owned by someone else and operated from a different location. The previous owners retired, and based on both reputation and my experience, the service seems to have gone downhill under the current management.

Fixed my luggage and cleaned it too for very reasonable prices. Well worth the trip to repair…read moreinstead of just buying a new luggage

I took it to an upholstery business in Marietta for an estimate and they wouldn't even bother to return phone calls or messages (check my review of them). Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find the highly-rated North Point Auto Upholstery. Took the car over to them and Zulman (sp?), the father part of the father-son owners, was very kind and helpful. We used color swatches to find the perfect match. He gave me what I considered to be a very competitive and fair quote. He ordered the leather and called me a couple of days later to tell me the leather had arrived. I dropped the car off and it was ready the next day. I got home and noticed there was a lump in the left seat. I called Raphael, the son side of the team, and he was exceptionally nice. He said to bring it back and they'd make it right, which they did. The seats look fantastic! They are every bit as good as when the car left the factory. I am extremely pleased with the way things went. I wouldn't hesitate to use North Point again. Be aware that they don't accept credit cards - only cash or a check is accepted. Two thumbs up for this business! They're honest, reasonably priced, do a great job and stand behind their work.

I checked the VIN with Lexus and saw they recommended the timing belt and water pump, rack and pinion, transmission gasket, valve cover gasket and spark plugs be done immediately. I specifically asked them if the rack and pinion was leaking before I got a cashier's check and booked a flight because I'd be driving it back to DC. They said, "No it's not leaking at all. You know the dealer, they tell you it needs everything." I fly down the next day, catch an Uber there all to see that the car has been in at least one minor accident evident by the terrible paint job on the rear bumper and the damage to the front bumper and rack and pinion which was leaking HORRIBLY. The entire boot is torn and covered in power steering fluid and the steering wheel shakes violently at 60 mph. One of the guys there, says, "It'll be fine. My coworker has been driving it around. It'll make it fine." These guys showed complete disrespect of life and just wanted a sale and didn't think twice to commit fraud to do it. I have a wife and kids and this guy didn't hesitate to lie to me about the leaks to get me to fly down and the tried to convince me to drive this death trap all the way to DC. They also knew about the issues because they told me someone else came in with the printout from Lexus and they told me that the repair was only $600 to fix once I get there and called them out about it. I called two dealers and was quote $2,000. Do not support these guys. And if you must shop with them DO NOT TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. Only through text, email, or messenger so you can have it all in writing. UPDATE: They have since reached out and instead of trying to make the situation right by offering the car at a lower price or compensating me the money I'm out for flying down and having to catch 3 Rideshares; they are saying that they are going to sue me for leaving a negative review. See the attached photo. I also reached out to them before leaving the bad reviews and they ignored me. I would not recommend using them for anything.
