So this was actually a very good shopping experience. I basically went to try to do some Christmas shopping. Bought a few things for my daughter and a couple things for my son. And of course found a shirt for myself. Everyone in the store was super friendly. I was asked a number of times if I needed help which I did and they sent me in the right direction. My arms were basically full so at that point it was time to go. I downloaded the Kohl's app which included a wonderful additional 25% friends and family discount. It was a very pleasant shopping experience so yes I will return!

In general and in a word... pathetic! Very little selection of anything good, wild colors of what they did have, and not much in the way of matching sets. Really what they had was the cheap stuff or odds and ends. I really didn't want a suit case that wouldn't roll after a use or two... heck I already have 3 of those. Basically this place was zero help. I had to move on and look else where. I still like kohl's for inexpensive clothes, shoes and house hold items but for luggage... well gotta head on out.

However, despite me saying ship them to my home address the person taking the order at the store pulled up an old PO Box I used to have at PakMail. For almost two weeks the package was lost inside the PakMail. The manager there is Michael and he signed for it so I know it was there but misplaced. I thought it could have been returned to sender also. So I called the New Balance store to tell them about the mixup. The store tried to make it right by ordering a second package of socks to be shipped from the Mall of GA store. It's going to be delivered to my house. Today I stopped by the PakMail to see if my package was found. It was at the bottom of a bin. I don't know why they couldn't find it last week. I just called the Alpharetta store to tell them the package was found and I wanted to pay for the second package. Mark answered and I tried to explain what happened and that I wanted to pay for the second package of socks. He must have been busy or in a bad mood or he didn't believe me. He curtly said enjoy the free socks. If it was a screw up on their part I shouldn't have to pay. It just doesn't feel right. I'm an honest person. Oh well, I go there at least once a year to buy shoes and socks.

You have so many to choose from, I was a bit overwhelmed, but Sharon helped me find the right shoe and even gave me style suggestions on when and what to wear. --Service/Staff-- I can't say enough about the staff for helping me out when the online order did not go through. I think if the employee did not help me. I would not have a pair of New Balance right now. --Products-- I'm so happy with my New Balance, there is a reason why they are trendy and stylish right now. --Capacity-- There were four people on staff, so they can help over 12 plus customers at a time. To say that we were over the moon to find two perfect bikes that we had been searching for months. We purchased them both and made arrangements to pick them up in my husband's truck the following day. I can't begin to express my disappointment when we arrived less than 24 hours later to find that my husband's bike had been sold. While I completely understand that things happen, we called three hours prior to coming to confirm the hours...and when the store rep called the assistant manager, he found more joy in knowing that the bike had not been stolen. This is not customer service. This is not good business practice. Matt, the manager, was there when we purchased the bike, and the assistant manger was there to rejoice when it was not a net lose to the company instead of the customer. When I arrived, I realized that all of the shoes online are not necessarily carried within the store. They did have one of the shoes I had selected. I was able to try it on and walk around the store. The shoes were very comfortable, and they had many sizes between 9 and 12 in stock. However, they did not appear to have many wide shoes in stock. So, I will ultimately make my purchase online, but it was nice to go into the store and try on one of my selections. All of the staff who interacted with me were friendly and courteous. I'll definitely consider returning if I need to try on a pair of shoes, but I'll probably continue to make my purchases online. UPDATE: I went home that night and tried to order my shoes online. The email coupon would not work. It said that the coupon had expired which was not the case. I then started a chat session on their website. I found out that the coupon would not work with the shoes that I was purchasing. Apparently, almost every brand they carry is excluded from the coupons that they email their customers (see below). I don't think that I'll be making another purchase at DSW anytime soon. My criteria was the following it had to be a black or grey. had to have a zip top must have outside pockets for keys and cell phones and subway passes wide enough to fit my laptop but not so wide I look like a bag lady made of something durable but still nice enough to take to the office. I came in on a whim and found a tote that was marked $400 and for some reason that particular day all the men's section was 50% off. So it would be $200...sweet...but as they were looking for a new one for me to take home....the one I was looking at was the store model....we realized they were all out of black, Only the brown was available....In the end they agreed to sell me the floor model for $100. Not a bad deal. I was happy and use it every day. It's very handy for travel because I can use it as a purse+ carry on. No need to lug around another suit case.... Have a ruler available so customers can also get a better measurement and find the clothes that are more suitable for their needs.
