I had never owned a pair of wedge soles before and they took the time to explain the differences in wedge material and leathers across the two brands I was comparing. As long as Chester Boot Shop is in business, I will never buy a pair anywhere else. As far as value, I would say that they are inline with any online retailer's pricing. The cost of the shoes was comparable to what I would have paid elsewhere for a good sneaker, and I had the benefit of her knowledge and care as we looked at my options. Also she pointed out some flip flops that were good for plantar fasciitis. I can never find flip flops! These were squishy and comfortable.
