I rushed over arriving around 8:15 PM when they have a 9 PM closing time. Due to it being so close to closing, there was only one set of doors that were working. I was politely greeted when I entered the store. There was a handful of guests in the store, wrapping up their purchases and asking questions. I was pleasantly surprised to see that swimwear was right at the entrance so I did not have to anxiously run around looking for the specific department I needed. I was looking for an athletic wear type of swim set (a top and shorts) and Kohl's offers a variety at different price points. They have a cute variety of Nike sets that are a bit on the pricier side. The store was fairly clean for it to be closing time. As I quickly (and maybe frantically due to time) scoured the clearance racks I had no issue locating correct sizes where they should be. Prices were clearly labeled on all items. Signage was easy to identify and navigate. I did try on a few items in the fitting room after gathering a few options. The fitting room was pretty clean. My check out experience was swift. Kohls is definitely a store I sleep on often but I've seen so many deals via email/social media lately I need to put it into my weekend shopping rotation.

I wore one pair for the very first time yesterday, and by today the soles were already delaminating. The shoes are clean and clearly show only one day of normal wear. I brought them back expecting an exchange for what appears to be a defective pair, but the manager dismissed my request without offering a reasonable solution. I then contacted Skechers customer service and was told that any resolution is entirely at the store manager's discretion. Skechers advertises a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," but that apparently means nothing if the store can simply refuse to stand behind a product that failed after one day. Now that Skechers is tied to 3G Capital, a firm known for aggressive cost-cutting, this kind of experience makes me wonder if customer service and product support are headed in the wrong direction. The person who greeted us said his name was Sinderny and couldn't have been more patient, kinder, or friendlier. He took the time to walk us around the store and listen to exactly what we needed. It wasn't just helpful, but it was kind. The whole staff at the store was wonderful and found things that we were looking for that weren't presented on the regular shelving. Again, it's not something that you would do all the time, posting a review about a shoe warehouse, but this one is worth doing and the sale that they showed us saved us a lot of money on top of it all.
