His pricing for sure beats most body shops I have ever come across in the area, his estimates are usually cheaper than any other auto or body shop around. His work is great, and my car runs better than it ever has, it seems. Tune-ups, repairs, and replacements...he does what he can to get your vehicle up and back on the road in a reasonable amount of time and for a decent price for sure!! They also have an assistant that helps the mechanic and at your request she will vacuum your car and wipe it down for you, so you can have peace of mind and a clean vehicle when you return it to the road. I highly recommend DSC and their mechanic to anyone that's on a budget but needing repairs or some vehicle maintenance done. I give him 5 stars but would give more if it would let me. The paint jobs were done lazily and i could see the flaw's at night ( looked like 97 cent krylon from wal-mart ). Get your body work done elsewhere. Here's what happened, this place picked up my car from flying J in Franklin KY. ( were I parked they called it abandoned ). Well I was in 3 days after it was taken to there lot. Well upset as most people would be about unexpected bills and no way to know how much they are I was not pleasant on the phone and they weren't helpful either not knowing how long they had it. After I found a ride to there shop I called back to say I was on my way to get my truck and he said he didn't have to come in until Monday because that's when the office opens again. Of coarse that meant there would be 2 more days storage fees. His hours on here are 24 as you can clearly see. The Portland police even said they can't help and make them come in so I can recover my property either ( taken without my permission I might add ). After learning how railroaded I was, I called back and said are you coming or not, and he said he would be there in 45 minutes ( and said nothing of fees for opening on Saturday over the phone, whats worse 2 more days storage fees or your fee for opening on the weekend stupid ). Well about an 75 to 90 minutes later and 45 minutes to an hour of waiting in there parking lot ( I was 15 minutes early , i wish i could have charged him detention for being late ) they showed up, in 3 classic cars like they had been out at a car show and I can just wait, screw the customer ( unfortunately I had to pay to get my car so now I'm am the customer right ). He wouldn't even cut me any slack on storage fee's either, I asked about moral compasses and he said I must be talking about flying J, and I said you don't have to charge me all your fee's, to which he arrogantly said he stored it for me, to which I said I didn't ask you to and that sure put a sock in his ignorant mouth! Very disappointed. Stopped by for oil change and tire rotation. Sign on window states no appt…read more necessary. Was unable to service at that time. Made appt. for the next day at 0900. Stated that I was there with appt. for oil change, tire rotation, check tire for leak and change wiper blades. Arrived at 0845. Stated I would be waiting. Car was not taken back to service bay until 1 hr. later. Service not completed until 1220. 3.5 hours later!! Appears oil change, tire rotation, and slow leak repaired on tire. Not done.... wipers were not replaced, window sticker was not replaced as to next service and most importantly, there was no apology for taking so long.
