    Turnaround following the double loop
    Eric S.

The back-to-back loops on this steel sit-down pack quite an electrifying punch. Situated at the very back of Six Flags Over Texas behind the oil derrick, wait times are nearly nonexistent for this aging ride. This Schwarzkopf twin looper rides considerably rough around the edges (as do most rides that are still in existence from the German-based coaster firm). The layout is unique to SFOT but isn't all that thrilling itself aside from a few nice pops of airtime. Fortunately, the low popularity of this coaster allows for walk-ons and re-rides so you can certainly get your money's worth. Ride blogs claim that Shock Wave pulls 5.9G's between the deadly double loops, but that's perhaps a liberal figure. It felt like Mr Freeze had more intense G-forces, but maybe that's just me ....... ride both and determine for yourself! ~Special ride elements~ *Vertical loop *Vertical loop Fun, and good for a few rides, but it's showing signs of neglect and could do well with a new coat of paint.

Line to get in even with online tickets is stupidly long, can't find lockers, the lockers card readers don't work, every little kid HAS TO wear a life jacket (which they DO NOT have enough of so they are wearing oversized ones) regardless if they can swim or with a parent by their side, EVERYTHING is fenced off so NOTHING is easily accessible so takes FOREVER to get to anything including the wave pool lazy river & kiddy area (new kid area is very nice.) We also got scammed out of our souvenir cup bc they want u to scan in one line then get in another line to get a cup & another to get a drink. We were just trying to LEAVE! Then as we're leaving my husband, not thinking, used his vape & this CUNT of a lady came up said "u cant vape in here" then snatched it out of his hand as I'm saying "we're literally about to walk out the gate." Oh & since this scammy ass place can't post it it's $35 for general parking, $50 for priority & extra $15 for accessible. BS!!! Too expensive for this experience!! $300 wasted! Thanks Hurricane Harbor

I been to fright fest for three times this year as I took a break from gaming for 5 weeks and need…read moresomething to fill in the time. With the new season pass and I got the all park passport one, you get a free flash pass per one ride and one Halloween band which you can access all of the Haunted Houses. I ended up doing 4 out of 8 houses. My advice is to do them early as the lines are short and did not wait for no longer than 15 minutes or wait till park closes. The haunted houses are alright. I am not into being scared, but decided to try them out as the lines were not long and I was curious to see if $50 dollars was even worth it. I would say it is not. I would say Cedar Fair parks do a better job at this, but when going through this there was a little scare here and there, but sort of glad it was not. I just wanted to see the thing. The park does get extremely crowded especially during Fright Fest so be prepared to wait in line. The good news is most of the rides are opened even the water rides. I rode the log ride late at night as the lines are very short like 15 minutes at most as some of the rides can be 1-2 hours. The food lines can be ridiculous too. I finally tried out the mobile online ordering for the first time and it was a disaster. I waited an hour to get my food and I saw others that waited in line and order get their food way faster. I did also the kiosk to order, but somehow it takes quite a bit 30 minutes and figuring out how to use your dining plan can be tricky and not obvious as it took me awhile to figure it out. I tried this out at Johnny Rocket's and JB BBQ and had the same experience. I did see their haunted show and it was alright, just a bunch of singing and dancing, but it was good place to relax. I had a good time overall and I did stay from opening to closing and time flew by quickly so I had no issues. I wanted to take a picture of the Looney Tunes characters, but I could not find them in their usual spot.
