That is just a bold-faced lie Sir. I talked to Matt all the time and mentioned the issues that I had at the time of installation. Nothing was done. The initial work order had something to the affect of move unit 2 feet to the right to accommodate the 4-inch box filter that I wanted installed because we had pets. I changed the location of where you wanted to put it so as to facilitate the drain from the unit, the running of which looks like crap (see picture) Why would I need a maintenance plan to change filters? The Filter never did fit correctly if you will look at your service records you will see that Daniel came to do a service to our unit and cobbled together something to keep the filter in place which it was not doing. Yes he wanted to open the closed system and remove the coil and take a chance introducing contaminates into it. How often do you open a sealed system just to clean a coil I don't believe I ever did. And He wanted to charge $1400 and take a day or so to do it. Again not true I asked if he could spray some calclean from the top of the coil as I have done for the last twenty years that I have been in the industry and none of the water the he sprinkled on the upper side of the coil even got into it. and the technician gave in and DOCUMENTED, that the cleaning was worthless And yet after saying that what he did was worthless he still charged me $419. I took my Electrical Apprenticeship in 1982 I took my HVAC Mechanic apprenticeship in 1990 and have been working in building maintenance since 1986. I am a professional for the last 40 years and If I did some work that was worthless, I could not in good consciousness charge the customer for that work. Your installation guys ran the thermostat in the open in my closet after they said they would put it inside the wall(the original tstat wire was in the closet and I wanted it in the wall ) I believe I addressed all the points you bought up on this not used forum. At the time, I was actually surprised by the lack of investigation that was required to diagnose the issue but I didn't question it. My issue was partially fixed during this appointment, but unfortunately I did have to have another plumber come out to assess and they discovered there was a clogged. I think if more time was spent investigating the issue, I likely wouldn't of had to call on another plumber. I even mentioned that there had been water accumulating in the pan under my furnace, which I know can point to a clog.. but I felt this was somewhat ignored. Furthermore, I felt the owner of this company left me with really poor advice.. advising me to cover the return vent on my main level with a piece of cardboard, which was supposed to help cool down the upper level of my house quicker. He wasn't specific about how long to keep it covered, but I figured maybe 2 to 3 hours? Well after a couple hours my indoor ac unit starts making a terrible noise. At this point, I do some independent research only to discover that covering your return vent with a piece of cardboard is a terrible idea! So idk if the poor advice was with malicious intent and just out of ignorance. But that's my story.

I called them on a Saturday morning and the lady I spoke with was helpful and understanding. She said they would have a tech there within three hours. Within an hour and half the technician arrived. He figured out the problem and corrected that and while he was at it, he corrected another, unrelated issue. He was there and gone in less than an hour. The tech, CJ, was polite, professional, and explained the issues clearly and fixed them promptly. Could not be more pleased. They are now our HVAC service company of choice.

we started with a five year-old unit purchased from a company they bought a couple of years ago…read more Unfortunately, the unit was no longer operating, and premier determined it was a coil issue. The good news was it was under warranty, and we would only be responsible for the coolant and the labour. That estimate and the upselling of a warranty program that would give us a discount on their hourly labour ran $700 before they ordered the coil. The coil arrived and our bill was $2400. $350 of that was coolant, and the flat rate labour charge was a little over $2000 for one technician working 2 1/2 hours. That's right, over $800 an hour. My reason for posting this is that if you use these people, and they are giving you fixed rate labour for the repair, consider getting a second bid according to Google the hourly rate in Greencastle as of August 2026 is between $75 and $160 an hour. The technician, Brady, couldn't have been better or nice nicer. The problem is not with their people or their work. The problem is they have taken what most people do hourly and made it a fixed rate for labour and hope that you do not notice. Unfortunately, I noticed too late. Please learn from my mistake. Consider going elsewhere or at least getting a second bid.

The owner of the company Emanual was there every step of the way with his team specialists that included an electrician, a HVAC plumber and Emanual himself. His prices were by far the best out of the estimates thar I received that week from Larry & Sons and Johnson & Johnson and the only downside to using this company- and the reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 star, was that his team was very busy and could not fit me in for 2 weeks.. Which in the hottest month of the year (August) seemed like an eternity. On the scheduled day though, they were here as scheduled and Travis was very polite and friendly, taking time to explain things about the repair to me and giving me helpful hints to keep the house cool.
