Shirt Shop - souvenirs - Children's Clothing Near Me - Morro Bay, California

Best shirt shop on the Embarcadero- best selection and best prices. We were able to get some souvenirs for friends and family who were expecting gifts when we returned home. Happy the they have extended sizes- they carry up to 5XL. Most of the selections for men went up to 3XL. No extra charges for using your credit card- purchase just needs to be at least $4 Same guy was working the 3x we popped in during our recent visit to MB- he was happy to let us try on various items and take photos to send home to friends and family to ask color and size questions. They even had new items that went out on the sales rack while we were here- made hubby very happy. He gleefully said it was going to make his fall wardrobe more exciting. read more

Lady with the short hair and smoker voice is insanely rude. Beware. Visited 9/2 on Labor Day for our day visit. We did not see the no food and drink signs and my husband brought in an empty metal cup. We were told as the woman walked past us and not to our faces, her back turned to us the whole time, to put it at the front but my husband wanted to hold onto it just to not forget it and my husband even indicated it was empty. The woman then proceeded to loudly talk about us with another worker as we were also the only ones in the store. She said "they can probably hear me talking about them" and said it was rude and she didn't like rude people. We promptly put back the merchandise we had been holding to buy and left the store, she was also singly loudly a song about thieves and jokers and singing get out. Yes we did not see the signs walking into the shop as there is a lot going on in terms of signs at the front of the door so a kind warning letting us know drinks and food are not allowed would have been sufficient. She did not have to talk loudly about us trying to embarrass us to the other worker. This is not even kind or customer care at all. If you would liked to be talked down to and treated poorly this is your shop. Not that it should matter, but I am also a visibly Muslim woman and she was very peachy to other Caucasian customers prior to our entering the store. read more

Definitely my go to souvenir shop in Morro Bay. There are so many choices. The prices are totally fair. I legit price checked some otter slippers on Amazon and it was the same exact price. Kenny was working and is super cool... Friendly, helpful and definitely Aloha. read more

The Shirt Shop in Morro Bay! LOVE this shop. My husband and I go to the Central Coast and stay in Morro Bay, every November, for at least a week's vacation. This place is a "must" go to when visiting. I've gotten loads of quality T-shirts, sweatshirts, various jewelry, and trinkets there over the many years. I recently lost an earring, but distinctly remembered what store I had purchased the pair from . The employee looked into it, when I called for a replacement, and contacted the artist who designed them. Voila! Luckily, the artist still had the same pair in her stock. I was elated! The cashier took my cc info and I had a replacement pair in days -- good employee:) Thank you. read more

Great shop! I make it a point to come here when I'm in Morro Bay. I got two great t-shirts for my guy and he loved them!

Just like the other 2 recent reviews, had a bad customer service experience here too. Walked into the store to no greeting, which I normally don't mind except a couple of patrons came in after and nicely asked a question about selection. The cashier grumpily pointed them in the direction of "those people" aka me and my bf. When not finding what she wanted, the customer said thank you before leaving the store and the cashier made an annoyed sound. Immediately dropped the things I'd picked up and walked right out too. No need for such attitude, especially when people are being nice. read more

If you are looking to wander and see what the store has to offer, then I say go for it! Lots of items for souvenirs, t-shirts, sweatshirts and craft items to help inspire you for your creativity. If you are looking to overspend on your souvenirs, attire and crafted items- this is your place. If you are also wanting to be ignored or not assisted in any way or even have absolutely no smiles or general common courtesy- this is absolutely your spot. I will never shop here again. read more

Friendly staff, always a go to spot to get some nice Morro Bay shirts for friends and family. I especially like that they have a large infant/child section. Been coming here for years for gifts and hope to continue getting gifts here for years to come. It is a bit tight to get through, but the selection is great. read more

Wall-to-wall display of novelty shirts [Morro Bay CA] After walking up and down Embarcadero in Morro Bay stopping at all of the t-shirt shops I finally found the kind I like in this store. After browsing and finding potential purchases, and trying to remember to return to them to buy them later, the stores were starting to all look alike. They were all cool stores with nice shirts but some of the price tags were "tourist" prices and were more than what I'd like to pay for. The Shirt Shop was the last store we were going to stop located at the end of Embarcadero before turning into Front Street (just next to Giovanni's Fish Market And Galley around the corner). The Shirt Shop didn't have that many but I was looking for a women's shirt that's designed to be much narrower in the waist than a men's t-shirt... men lacks definition (in shirts, that is) LoL! the cut is straight for the bulk of the t-shirt. Most of these shirt stores are 95% men's cut. Anywhoo, we wandered around inside. The store was packed with merchandise and very cramped. Lucky for us it was later in the evening and not that many customers, we probably only had an hour left before the store closed for the day. All of us each found a shirt (mom found a pullover sweatshirt). The shirts are great quality and the prices were reasonable. Hubby even found a shirt he liked under the clearance section ($6.95). Cool store for some fun, novelty wear. Good service from the cashier guy too. Review #1468 read more

My son got his sweatshirt wet at the beach. So I was on the hunt for another one. I remembered the Shirt Shop has great prices compared to most stores in Morro Bay. Sure enough, as soon as we walked in the store he found a red lifeguard sweatshirt he liked. He tried it on and loved it. 24$ you can't beat that! They had some 2 for 50$ sweatshirts and some other pretty reasonable deals. I wasn't crazy about the baseball caps though. We were greeted as we came in, customer service was great. It's a packed tight store, so if you get a handful of people in there it's too much. My husband left because it was too busy. My son is very happy with his new sweatshirt and so is my wallet. read more

Best selection of tees and hoodies in all of Morro Bay!! Located along the embarcadero, across from the stacks (next door to The Coffee Pot), easy to find. I always recommend Shirt Shop to guests and every time they all come away happy. I've purchased a few great deals and hot looks at this place myself! All price ranges but definitely you get a great price (with tons of selection) at any budget level. All sizes from kids to super husky! It's a total touristy shop but it's not obnoxious or cheapo. The sales people are always happy and helpful too. Not only will you find the perfect shirt or fleece, there's THE best selection of postcards, magnets, stickers, jewelry, hats, and trinkets. It's a one-stop gift shop for all things Morro Bay and California. CHEERS!!! read more

Literally the rudest, trashiest staff. Items not clearly marked, tried to overcharge double on items outside on racks. When price was doubled at cashier, 3 different employees, doing absolutely nothing, but standing and scrolling through their cell phones, stopped to YELL at me, the customer, trying to purchase $$$ their merchandise. Then continued to scoff as I left the store. Don't shop here, these people are BEYOND RUDE, not worth your business!!! read more

I bought a dozen postcards here, including some awesome old-fashioned California ones, to send to family and friends (and save as souvenirs). I also got a really cute sea otter refrigerator magnet, because I'm a sucker for sea otters and refrigerator magnets. All this for just $6.99 - what a steal! The cashier was also very friendly. And the logo for the shop is a sea otter! SEA OTTER! read more

Shirt Shop? Sure. Don't be shy. No sham, nothing shady. You should shop. Shaved prices. Shelves of shirts. Not shipshape, but prices won't shock. Not too shabby. Shall you shop? Shrewd people may think you look like a tourist. No shit. read more

This shop is a fine establishment. They have reasonable prices, and the merch is excellent quality. It is located on prime real estate on the embarcadero. The staff is really friendly as well. My last trip I got a new sticker for my collection. I even scored a 4XL T-shirt for my pops big Lou, now finally we can have family photos where we all have matching shirts! Don't fall for all the other shirt shops in Morro bay they over price all their merch and the quality is very poor, and the other stores unsanitary. 5 stars read more

Went in here prices were decent thought might give it a chance wandered around in there for a few and noticed I heard Ben Shapiro rambling on about racist this and that (why can't anyone go anywhere and not have to deal with politics for once??) just once I want to go out and have a nice time and not have anyone's politics shoved down my throat or even have to hear that crap I just wanna have a fun day with my family with out having to worry about hearing racist rants from either side won't go back to this place again sorry the prices might be a good thing but keep the politics out of the store read more

I am so not a tourist, and feel better when I don't have to suffer the fate of living where everyone else goes on vacation by having to pay more for already overpriced stuff. This store seems to lack in price gouging their neighbors seem to be practicing. I actually bought myself a bracelet and a bumper sticker and paid less than eight bucks for both... read more

I'm retired now and need not wear a crisp shirt and tie to look "professional". Increasingly, my personal wardrobe is a mass of sweaters and sweatshirts. While relaxing on a visit to Morro Bay, I stopped at The Shirt Shop and purchased two sweatshirts, only to return for another. The prices were reasonable, the sweatshirts are comfortable, and the sweatshirts have survived the cold wash, rinse cycle and dryer - the ultimate test, in my opinion - to emerge just as comfortable as they were when I first put them on. If you're in the area and want a sweatshirt (or two...or three), stop by and shop here. read more

Best Selection for the BEST Prices in Morro Bay. Hands down my FAVORITE Place to buy T-Shirts While in Morro Bay.

When we walked in it was fine just as a store but crowded but when we went to check out the young lady who was working the cashier had to earphones in, can you not take them out?? And then you would think that if you added tax to the clothing cost you tell the customer, right, wrong. We went in and the same cashier was on her phone and didn't look up at us. Disrespectful. Rude. 1 star wouldn't recommend. read more

I come every year to this shop for myself and my kids. The cashier was very rude. He over priced me and once leaving the store, i called and he was rude over the phone to me about my overpriced purchases he given me, when the sticker said something way different. He wasn't willing to give me my phone back all he said was to give me store credit. His own words "well i can't do nothing about it, store is closed. " rude the whole time. Always loved the store until this happen. read more

Clutter fest, but great prices. Got two sweatshirts for $60. Big selection of shirts as well.
