Unfortunately there is no zero star. Walked to the store with my family and the sales lady was so rude and unwelcoming after seeing my 9 year old daughters entering behind me. I haven't experienced such a thing even walking into Tiffany's or Swarovski, your store was a joke in comparison. Not very welcoming. No service, was only person in store looking around. Then someone else comes in gets greeted, told of their sale I just walked out. As a person of color really bad optics to be ignored and then a Caucasian person gets nice service. Won't be back there. read more

My husband and I were in town from Illinois for a wedding and at the last minute we realized my husband had grabbed the wrong tie so we needed new dress clothes ASAP! The employees did not help us when we wanted to try on shoes we had to ask for help from a group of employees just standing around talking to each other and when we finally got help the woman argued with me about the shoe sizes. While visiting for the weekend, we stopped in this store as our friends were looking for a hat and maybe some sunglasses. What a great shopping experience we all had! Yes, they found the perfect hat and sunglasses, but we all walked out with shopping bags in both hands! The sales ladies in this store are a hoot and made the overall experience just that much more fun - even the husbands had a great time which is really saying something. While wandering downtown Cambria after breakfast at Linn's, we came across Parts Unknown and decided to head in for a look. Being from a small town myself, I miss the days of the small retailer with staff who are long-term and know their merchandise. Shelley was an absolute delight as she helped us find sizes and talked shop about being raised in the area (turns out she and my husband attended the same high school). We shopped, laughed - and yes, bought(!) - several great items from Shelley, and I wanted to take a moment to give well-deserved kudos to my fellow "tall, curly-haired friend" for making our visit memorable. This is the best clothing store ever. They only have quality brands and always have a variety of styles and colors. What makes this shop exceptional is the manager Kimberly. She will go out of her way to find you the perfect gift. I bought a blouse for my wife recently and because I was unsure of the exact size Kimberly said she would put the other possible size away in case the one I selected doesn't fit. While wandering around Cambria a couple of months back, I stopped in this shop and felt like I'd found an undiscovered treasure. They had a wonderful selection of menswear (they have women's clothing too) that I had not been expecting. They carry some very nice and favorite brands of mine. I knew I'd return next time I was in need of a nice casual dress shirt, shoes, pants--even their hat selection is cool. I had an unusual exchange request and the manager Kimberly was gracious enough to look into whether they could do it. To my pleasant surprise they were able to help me out. This was customer service above and beyond what I was expecting and, needless to say, I am now a grateful customer and look forward to shopping there again. Formally called Wildwood. Was Mom & Pop owned but now owned by a corporation called "Parts Unknown". Luckily the same exact thing that made Wildwood so great still remains. Great selection, cool store vibe, and friendly employees. Bought a new made in USA Brighton belt and a new Kangol hat in a different color from my original review! Here's my review from Wildwood since I feel the same about the new name. I love this store. They have a great selection of clothing and accessories for both men and women at great prices. I bought a made in the USA leather belt there 3 years ago and it's still holding strong. I just bought a Kangol hat since it's the only hat that seems to work with my head and face shape. Great store and friendly service. I always pick something up when in town. They've got fancy brands too like Nat Nast, Tommy Bahama, Brighton, etc. read more

We have to agree with all the accolades that preceded this review. The PUC team is warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful, professional and always in good spirits. During our three visits to the store and subsequent purchases they were right there to assist and made us come-away feeling like family. I can't wait for our next opportunity to visit the store, though I am begging them to open a store further south. During these particular interactions, most of our attention was focused on "Pendleton" brand shirts and their Scully Leather Goods. My wife and I highly recommend! read more

I'm always happy to shop "Parts Unknown" in Cambria. Kim, the manager, is always sweet and very helpful, as is her staff. I'm particularly happy to witness a man, who refused to wear a mask, asked to leave to store. I was about to walk out of the store when I saw him, but the kind saleswoman gently advised him that he will need a mask on before he shopped. He stated, "I don't wear masks; I don't believe in them." She graciously advised him that he will then need to leave. Thankfully, he left without incident. It was his CHOICE not to wear a mask, and it is the business's choice to protect their customers! It's now a state mandate and customers who don't wear a mask should not have a choice! It's because of 'unvaccinated' people and people who refuse to wear a mask that COVID is alive and well! Kudos to the saleswoman for safeguarding the customers in the store. Kimberly spent over an hour helping us find a pair of shoes. She took the time to help us find the pair of shoes that fit us perfectly. Her patients and time she spent... My husband and I visit this store every time we are in Cambria. Every time we go in he tries on hats but never purchases one. This time, I was certain to purchase a hat! We were visiting Cambria with our "still being trained" dog so I went in first to look at the hats and then we would switch out the dog so he could go in. I told the ladies working the store what we were up to and they all said, "Oh no, please bring your dog inside!" She was well greeted but not overly doted on. My husband tried on many hats and when we settled on a style and color, the shelves did not have his size. Lisa checked the computer and said that there should be one of his size somewhere so we looked and sure enough, it was there. With hat in hand, we visited a bit longer with Lisa and while she rang up the hat, another of the gals offered our dog a super yummy dog biscuit, which our doggy devoured. Our pup had a wonderful time on her first shopping experience and we had a great time finally purchasing a hat. They have a great supply of all sorts of hats for both men and women. Staff is great. I believe Alexiz helped me and my family and he was great! We visit from Colorado at least once a year and this was our first time in the store. I work in retail and I know it's not easy to keep a smile on your fave when you get some not so happy customers but we received above and beyond service and he made us feel more than welcome.
