We went on a Saturday for late breakfast and was trying to determine what we wanted from all the options. I ordered the corned beef hash (CBH) skillet and a side of pancakes. A country fried steak (CFS) was also ordered on the table, with a side of toast. The CBH was homemade, not from the can. You can see it and taste it. It was very delicious, well made, and wonderfully seasoned. The CFS was covered in sausage gravy, sitting on a bed of hashbrowns and eggs on top. I was told it was delicious. We ordered coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice to drink. The coffee was great. The orange juice had a taste that I wasn't accustomed to, which is odd because I love fresh squeezed juices. Service was attentative and our server was nice. Everyone ensured we were ok and our coffee mugs were full. Glad I went to Elly's. It's one of my favorite places to go.

Amazing Food, A1 Service & a Wonderful Birthday Celebration!…read more We had another amazing experience at Elly's Brunch & Cafe on Cumberland Ave. We were also there celebrating my wife Yesenia's birthday, and the staff helped make the occasion even more special. The food was absolutely amazing--fresh, delicious, and everything came out perfectly. The entire staff is always friendly, welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. I especially want to give a big shout-out to our waiter, Victor, for his outstanding service and for taking such great care of us. I also want to recognize Garcia and Sergio, the busboys, who are always hardworking, attentive, and make sure everything is taken care of. Every time we come here, Victor, Garcia, Sergio, and the entire staff make us feel like family. They always welcome us with a great attitude and provide A1 service from beginning to end. Thank you for helping make Yesenia's birthday celebration such a wonderful experience! Great food, great atmosphere, and an incredible staff. We will definitely continue coming back and highly recommend Elly's to anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch experience!

I chose the turkey sandwich and it was kind of a let down. The best thing was the nice crunch from the toast it came on. There were maybe two slices of turkey on the sandwich. The rest was crisp lettuce and fresh tomato. The fries were great. The breakfast burrito was good but overly saucy it took away the flavor from the ingredients inside. The French toast was great if you have a sweet tooth but the bread was slightly smaller than I expected. The ambiance isn't anything extravagant but also homely in a way. It's a solid 4 and not a back to back ,but will consider going again in the future.

A group of 20+ of us came in for brunch on a Sunday and everything went well. We thought we were getting placed in a private room since this event was coordinated ahead of time. Service throughout was great, we were in and out within an hour and 15 mins. Staff members were on top of their game. I had the garden omelette and added cheddar cheese to it. It was pretty good. I had some skin from the onion which was off putting, but other than that it was OK. The portion was generous and I had leftovers for the following morning.

It was crowded but enough to hear you talk. The ambiance was with in level. Only concern was that the manager on our take he was kinda of rude snf maybe upset that he has to accommodate 24 people??. His approach to us rude. They dont accept reservations thats fine , we understand. Thats why all 24 of us came on time so we can be seated as it gets croweded on weekends. He came on too strong stating I can't seat all of you together we dont have enough space???. Which is fine but we requested if we can be in the same zone at least. He said thats also impossible. But one of his staff offered the covered patio if it ok. As i saw there were empty tables on that end. We agreed as we didnt mind if we are seated separately but as long as were close. That was the point of us having a get together as we can as we dont see each other often. We've been friends for 35yrs and counting and our family is growing. He as a manager should know how to handle this situation or his should not be rude. Remember You have more then 10 paying customers. And their word of mouth is important. A few of those customers are a food critic. In most breakfast cafes we go to, to get together, managers will always go out of their way to accomodate and we appreciate that. I feel , they just dont want to pull the tables together and have to pull them apart after. Its quite a big task. I guess they have not experience having 24 people all at once. Its a learning curve. At least the servers were ok and attentive. Service was fast and overall food rating is A+

Dined for $115 with tip and we all had an omelette with a protein, side of bacon, and coffees. I got the Spartan omelette. It was recommended and right up my alley with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and feta cheese. I also added bacon and it was delicious! I was able to get it with a cut banana and it was perfectly ripe. My husband got the Denver omelette which is also know as a Western- ham, onion, bell pepper, and American cheese. He really liked his as well as my parents who ordered Corned Beef Hash omelette and Spartan. I will definitely be back! It was so good, we didn't even take a second to snap a pic!

We order eggs Benedict and the Mac wrap. They are out in less than 10 minutes. I give her and the cook props for the timing and the cook jokes, "all out of a microwave." HA! We knew that was not true. Looking at the menu, the ham off the bone looks like their specialty so we both were sure to get meals with that! We split the burrito and the Benedict. Both were lacking salt in my opinion but I understand under salting for the masses so us salt lovers can add our own with reckless abandon. Please note this is CASH ONLY! Which I missed despite the sign in the front. They do have an ATM with $2.75 fee. Pricing for the food did seem steep for a diner but it's 2025 and nothing is cheap. The service took a long time, also to begin with just to get a decaf coffee and a tequila sunrise that looked terrible, NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE that gets displayed on the table. Then I ordered my breakfast with my eggs poached. The food took forever to arrive, and my eggs were fried. I made the waitress aware of it and she said that she would get them replaced. By time she got around to remembering my eggs I was at a point that I had eaten the rest of my breakfast and some of the whites of the fried eggs since I was hungry. She said that we're almost ready. Really?! Then she added that she would get them ready to go instead and not charge me. Who cares at that point? A few minutes later, some other waitress brings the eggs to the table on a plate with the doily to eat at the table. I am one of those people that are very patient, but I've had it at that point and asked for the check. I just threw the coach X into the to go boxes that a different waitress had gotten for me.
