Great atmosphere, most food was good. Yet, they charged $58.00 for a lobster roll:o which was not diced and has nothing on it, dry and roll fell apart. Looking for an early dinner where one of our group wanted a lobster roll and in looking online this was the place. The restaurant is right on the water and if it wasn't a rainy day we all would have taken a nice walked before or after our meal. Came for the lobster roll and it didn't disappoint! We'd been driving around the Cape Cod coastline and walking the beaches and lighthouses. By the time we got to Falmouth we were starving. We started with a yummy French onion soup which we shared. The broth had lots of flavor and not wishy washy like lots I have had. Also it was not loaded with bread! Just perfect!! I had the grilled chicken tacos. The reason they were so good is they seasoned the chicken really well and it was so juicy! It had melted cheese and a little spicy sauce. I can not eat cilantro but the provided me with some freshly chopped tomato because their salsa had cilantro and brought me some sour cream as well. So very accommodating. They were PERFECT! Our server JULES was lovely and spot on. He had a cheeseburger that was an 8 on a scale of 10. Cooked to perfection medium rare! Pleasant dinner experience tonight. Was over an hour wait for two on a Friday night but luckily snagged a seat at the bar which was first come, first serve. We ordered the wings with the shipwrecked sauce as an appetizer. It was a big potion, but the sauce seemed more Asian inspired than a take on BBQ. Not bad though. For food we ordered the jerk chicken wrap and the shrimp burger. The jerk chicken was delicious and so flavorful! Would definitely recommend. For a drink I got the Oreo mudslide which was ok. Great dinner tonight at Shipwrecked. It was 2 days before July 4th so we knew it would de busy but they were able to seat 5 of us in about 20 minutes. We shared the bang bang shrimp and Lobster Rangoon apps that were both delicious. My swordfish was perfectly prepared and everyone else liked their choices. Called ahead to ask if they had outside seating, they said yes. But they don't take reservations. We drove almost 2 hours to get there, only to find out they weren't doing outside seating that day because they had an event. Not cool. Once we arrived, the hostess (teenager) was giving attitude. Didn't feel welcome. Our waitress (also teenager) and an older waitress were lovely though - very friendly. The food was average. The garlic butter wings were probably the best thing I tasted out of everything we ordered. The fries tasted stale. The location is great. Right across from the beach. The tables by the window have a view of the beach. Metered street parking on the same street was easy to find on a weekday late afternoon. read more

Great view of waterfront from any seat except ours. Our high top table was located in the back area outside on a windy cool evening. We killed a pesky Yellowjacket that was trying to bite me. This was a really disappointing meal across the board...we tried the turkey burger, fish and chips and the chilli and they were all not very good. The fish was mushy and room temperature on a bed of cold fries. The swapped sides were all forgotten and when we reminded Kamala they were brought after the fact with not even the slightest were sorry. After spending a busy day in Falmouth we chose Shipwrecked for dinner, thinking it might be a little less busy being further away from downtown. We were told we would have an hour wait, which ended up being about 80 minutes. After waiting past the estimated period, it took even longer for our waitress to introduce herself, and an even longer wait time in between ordering drinks and entrees. After being seated around 7:30, we did not eat until right before 9:00. The fish and chips was served lukewarm, however the jerk chicken entree was served piping hot. Food, Service, Ambiance always amazing! The prices are excellent being right next to the ocean! Wow, and the windows open! After speaking to the staff at lunch they said the owners treat them extremely well and take good care of their people! We also stayed at the Heights Hotel which was so comfortable and relaxing! This night we learned the menu had changed and not for the better. We were out for some fresh fish, clams or scalps, not on the menu. We both ordered fish and chips. We were seated inside by the host and no one ever came to greet us so we went outside. Unfortunately we experienced the same outside. Definitely needed a busser to clean up plates, it looked pretty messy on Sunday. I had to go up to the bar to order everything. Kiki was an amazing bartender. She's so sweet, even with all the volume, I noticed she was on top of everything. In conclusion. The outside seating seems to be a spot to just drink and walk up to the bar if someone like Kiki is working the bar. To order food sitting in the very front of the restaurant seemed unattainable. Food not very good. Front of the house staff awful - they need to replace front desk. They keep you waiting and there are empty tables everywhere and plenty of table staff. Our friends invited us to a night out and suggested Shipwrecked. They are bar regulars and when we walked in and there were 4 seats available at the bar they suggested we should take them and I am so glad they did! See my husband and I don't drink, so we typically wouldn't sit at the bar, but let me tell you we had such a great time! Tara, the bartender, was so attentive and her fantastic sense of humor made for such a fun experience! The owner has really done a great job with the place and the sushi was soooo good!
