But when I contacted them, their customer service was horrible, it was non-existent. They wouldn't even look up my information from when they installed the original door through the builder!!! They couldn't schedule anyone to come out and measure it for weeks and gave me a half-ass quote without installation. They also wanted to charge me to come and measure the door (even though they have records of exactly what door they installed hundreds of times with my builder, based on our model.) I am so glad I found PRECISION SHOWER DOOR!!! You can see their review I left them on Yelp as well, along with pictures of their quality compared to Fresno Shower Door product which SHATTERED while no one was even home. Why did their glass door shatter... because of the lack of quality compared with what we have now. You will thank me for going to Precision!!!

I let him know that I would like to make an appointment closer to 4:00 because I would be at work. According to the gentleman, their last appointments are at 1:00 because they close at 5:00. I asked if we could schedule an appointment for the weekend and he said they are closed on the weekends. When I had no choice but to say that I would need to shop around and contact someone else, another company, he just said "ok" and hung up. I guess positive customer service is no longer a thing. They don't want to come back to fix anything and will charge a ridiculous amount of money to do so. They take no responsibility for their work and if there is a problem it's your fault. The installers blame the managers and repeatedly say they are not trained well and there is a huge turn over of employees. Every worker that came had no idea what to do to solve any of the issues we had and said they couldn't fix anything until they talked to management. This scenario repeated over and over for months. Finally management said don't call us anymore. Now we have a very expensive awning that doesn't open properly, is falling off the roof, and a sensor doesn't work.

We wanted to have black trimmed windows which we communicated to Doug. He encouraged us to order the white trimmed windows instead for cost and timing and then paint them to match the trim color we chose for perfect match. He failed to mention modifying the trim color would also void the warranty on the glass. Had we known that tiny detail, we likely would have made a different choice. Fast forward two years and we have had issues with windows not staying open (falling down shut), the trim coming off and exposing the glass edges, and condensation between panes. Took me weeks of emailing to get any response from Doug just to have Premier refuse to fix anything under warranty because the windows were painted and the warranty is voided. The repairman told me to contact Doug. Do you think he's replied to me? As someone else mentioned, Doug also encouraged us to install a particular French door in our house. It's awful. They don't seal well, air leaks in constantly, and now the window trim is coming off, exposing the glass. An issue we will fix out of pocket because we are concerned about safety. Doug is a great salesman. He'll tell you nostalgic stories about his parents' home, feigning respect and a desire to help you have the best experience possible, but don't expect much customer service once he's gotten your money. Find another company.

I'm still not providing five stars only because of the issues with having three flat tire tires from the street sweeper not coming often enough to clear the roads. I told the builder what had happened to me and they did not compensate me even though my tires were not patchable, and I had to literally get new ones and the streets are coming once only every other week did not seem sufficient. But other than that, the warranty department and sales department are excellent to work with and in today's economy I would still consider it a good purchase, especially in the area. It's a good investment.

(Ha, turns out they were the same family) Time was getting short, so we made the move and signed with McCaffrey Homes to build in the Clovis Santerra neighborhood. We were the second or third house built. We spent a good deal of time watching our home being built. I would swing by every day after they were done and look at the day's progress. I was 70 yrs old at the time we built and it wasn't my first Rodeo. I was very pleased with the build quality I saw going into our new home. That quality has paid off. After 8 yrs, I have so far not found any failures in my construction beyond normal wear, and even that is minimal. I have watched the entire area around us be built up by other builders, and believe me, they were cutting corners and doing things that would not suit me at all. The bottom line is this: McCaffrey builds a very good and solid house, and they stand behind their work. It's up to you to make a Home.

And then our shower got plugged up somehow, I'm sure it's all my hair over the years, and then the outside spouts to the hose were leaking, so we were just a mess, called them up, they came a couple days later after our quote, which was reasonable, and they did a great job! Where a little later on time, but with this type of business, I mean they could have gotten help up at their previous job, no worries, and then they were very efficient on their time, came in, did what they needed, got us some new toilets and new spouts, cleaned our shower, and were out in no time, like maybe 2 hours, it was way faster than I anticipated, and no mess was made, everything works just fine and my little was soo curious in what they were doing and what was going on and talking and looking at their directions papers and they were just soo good with him.
