I had a total of 4 different vendors provide quotes and discuss the problem with me. Turns out there was only 1 downspout handling the entire side of our house. Wood & Wood was great to communicate with (much of it via email and photos which was just fine for going back and forth on some smaller details) and they had the best price. They came and were very quick to remove the old gutter install a new length of gutter and the new downspout and clean up everything. And considering I was at work while they did all the work I really wouldn't have known they had been there at all! Our experience with The View Roofing was the most unprofessional experience with any company we've…read moreever had. I can't fathom the positive reviews of this company. While Freddy seemed knowledgeable and was priced just below competitors, the realty was anything but. Most egregiously we were overbilled for sheets of plywood replacement after the job was over. Nobody discussed this with us during the job. Nobody would tell us what was replaced and where. We had to take photos from the underside and refuse to pay until they showed what was replaced. They never did. Then there was the damage. They damaged several of our deck posts and never repaired them as promised. They punched holes in our sheet rock ceiling. When replacing them we had to make sure they repaired the whole section (they tried to only repair part of it and paint over the other part). When repainting we were told they would paint the entire ceiling to match, then on the day they said they would only paint half then they only painted the small areas where they repaired leaving mismatched paint. We had to withhold payment and fight over a credit to cover hiring a painter. The list of minor things is long, from driving on our lawn and leaving huge tire indents, to burning a section of our grass with their equipment, leaving trash out in the yard away from the house overnight (lunch wrappers and water bottles not work debris). Dropping paint on our sidewalk (that wasn't completely cleaned), Dripping paint and spackle on our walls that left a permanent mark and leaving debris and trash behind when they left for good. All of this documented with photo and video. During all this Freddy, who was not on site most of the time, was the only person who spoke English and whom we could communicate with effectively (while the crew tried to use google translate it didn't work well). This exacerbated all the issues that we had.

A few years ago I contacted them to clean my gutters but also install gutters on my garage. They sent me an estimate electronically, I signed the contract and they did the job shortly thereafter. Aside from the clean (and new) gutters, you wouldn't have even known they were at my house. This year I needed the gutters cleaned again and didn't hesitate to contact RIO. Oh and RIO sent me a reminder via email, reminding me that I should get my gutters cleaned but also giving a list of their other services (power washing, roof washing, tree services). Again I was able to engage them via their website, received the quote quickly, approved it, scheduled the date. Well the date came and they guys didn't come out but Gabriel called me saying that they got hung up on another job and it was getting late and dark out and he said he didn't want them to do my job in the dark (makes sense). He said that the guys could get hurt or miss some clean up. I appreciated that. A quick reschedule occurred. I really, really dig the electronic contract, quote, appointment and such.
