If we didn't chase them down for information they wouldn't provide it. They were unprofessional, disrespectful and clearly amateurs at what they do. Trash and building materials were left inside my home for months. My house was left exposed to the elements for several months (because they started a job not realizing they didn't have the right materials). My basement was flooded due to their negligence causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Everywhere I turn I find more poor craftsmanship. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Scott was one of very few roofers who responded to our calls, gave us the best quote, and pushed hard to get a big job done (it's a ranch house with a lot of roof) while the weather held. What really sold us on APR, though, was how obviously Scott knows what he's doing and how meticulously he applies his knowledge to his work. He knew all the pros, cons, and technical characteristics of the materials we considered, diagnosed problems we didn't know were there, worked with us to keep the costs down, and was open and honest in all his dealings with us. And - oh, yeah - the roof looks great. I had my roof installed in 2022 and I noticed some buckling and what I thought was a leak on the ceiling. Dusty emailed me in the am. Chris called and said he would arrive 1:00pm. Both Chris and Matt evaluated the situation. Took a wetness meter and found no wetness. Suspected might have been an unnoticed stain. Matt and Chris sealed the shingles and stapled them down. I found them when I was looking for gutter installation work and was so impressed that I had them replace the entire roof on my house sized barn (~2100 sq ft) with Owens Corning along with significant rehabilitation work to the substrate. Most recently, they built a composite deck on my property. The price was very good on all occasions and change orders handled exceptionally well. It seems all too rare these days that you find a contractor that is reliable, competent and takes real pride in their work but that's exactly what you're getting here. These are skilled and honest professionals who do excellent work and stand behind both the process and the finished product. I was initially quoted $2.8k for the repair of a small piece of roof (50-60sqft) outside of our kitchen window. After I told the salesperson I wanted to discuss it with my husband, he returned with a new quote of $3.3k and claimed the original quote never existed. Since we already had water damage and needed the repair urgently because of the horrible CT winter, we felt pressured to move forward. But the repair also wasn't scheduled as quickly as promised. I had to make several calls to finally get someone to come out since the job was "too small" (yet they asked for three grand). Horrible sales experience. The technician, however, was excellent. When we experienced another small leak after the repair, he came back promptly and fixed it without hesitation. He was professional, responsive, and the only reason this review isn't zero star.
