No matter which one you go to, seating will be limited due to either space or how many people are enjoying the place so try to get there before the lunch rush for guaranteed seats! For this outing, I tried their Black Garlic ramen special featuring Black Garlic oil that blended so well with their incredible broth, pickled onions and bell peppers, char siu pork, fried garlic and egg. The level of umami from the black garlic oil worked so well with the acidic pickled veg and the charred flavor of pork added a nice layer of smokiness that made the dish even better.

On this warm afternoon, I went in craving my usual spicy miso ramen, BUT I got influenced by the pics of the Toroniku Hiyashi (cold ramen). I've only tried cold ramen once before at Hironori and enjoyed it, so I decided to go for it! Sooo glad I did because it was refreshing and satisfying. The tare (dipping broth/sauce) comes in 3 flavors: shoyu, sesame or spicy. I was super tempted to try the spicy, but opt'd out last min cuz I'm trying to get over a lil cough--and spicy probably wasn't gonna help. Lol So, shoyu it was! Everything complemented each other perfectly, especially ALL the toppings ~ Toroniku, wood ear mushroom, corn, green onion, radish sprout, crab fishcake, Kinshi tamago (shredded egg omelette), red ginger, cucumber, and mini tomatoes. I'm very sensitive to the texture of eggs but it was perfectly cooked to perfection, no chewiness just very light and soft. The rice and sauce was the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy. It made me an immediate fan! Service was great, food came out quick. Great prices too! Will definitely be coming back, especially for the Eboshi Omu Rice again. I also like that they have a few other offerings on the menu not often found at many local Japanese restaurants so I'm excited to try some of those too. Highly recommend this place!

I got the regular size which was the perfect amount for me. I enjoy the variety of tempura. I tried the pumpkin today but wish I got my usual sweet potato as I like the sweetness. the karaage is always a favorite but they are always out when i'm there so I have to wait until they make more and then come back which can be tedious.

The salmon tasted metallic and spoiled - like that sulfuric essence that old boiled eggs. The beef was reminiscent of beef jerky. I had two more onigiri (plate of 4 for $17 after tax) and I ended up throwing them all away after those first few bites because I was concerned about getting sick. Given the recent reviews, if this place did serve good food, its certainly gone downhill. Skip this place. You're better of going to Lagu or Tokyo Central.

Pork cheek is the leaner cut compared to pork belly. I forgot what's its called but it's one of the house specials, and it's like $20. The broth was rich and spicy. Pork slices were tender. They have a very large menu selection so I wanted to come back and try other menu options. It's in a food court so basically no service provided.
