I ended up having a brain tumor (so thankful for tufts for diagnosing me months later when I brought my images from rayus in- I spent every day calling around hospitals and doctors trying to figure out what was wrong with me) the tumor was right there in plain sight on my MRI from rayus- but they did not mention it on the rayus report anywhere so I spent months with a misdiagnoses with scary symptoms that turned my life upside down. Never never go here! Go to a hospital where the machines and radiologists will never let this happen- especially when it comes to a brain MRI.

This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. First the scheduling person told me that I…read morewould need to fast from all liquids for six hours prior to the MRI. This was not true. I found out as soon as I can got there that I could have drunk water the entire day; I was only to fast from food. Going 6 hours for a person who takes several dehydrating medications was bad & it hurt the MRI procedure because I was so dehydrated the nurse couldn't find a vein to give me contrasting dye. She ended up poking me multiple times, giving me several bruises & finally decided to do the MRI, without contrast first & decided to do the second one, with contrasting, later. When she tried injecting me with the solution, she again poked me several times until she finally found a vein but not without both arms bruised, swollen & leaving me in pain. The MRI itself was the worst I have ever had (& I've had several due to severe back issues). They couldn't hear me screaming out to lower the volume because the headphones thundering in my ear, playing beating drugs, while someone to breath in & out for what was close to an hour & 1/2 (& they told me the entire process should only take 30 minutes. I left dehydrated, with a migraine headache, & looking like a junkie. If the process weren't bad enough, the radiologist's results were totally bogus. His report said I clearly had a 7 mm cyst, tumor, or stone on my ampulla (connecting the bile ducts to the pancreas) so it was necessary for me to have a very expensive procedure where they found absolutely nothing! There was NO 7mm anywhere on my ampulla. So this radiologist was totally incompetent. It was an uncomfortable & unnecessary procedure. I was talked into using this place by my insurance company, who claimed it would save me 500.00 but ended up costing 10 times that! I will never take their bad advice again! Go anywhere else to have your MRI! This was one of my worst medical decisions & experiences.

She is still accepting new patients and therefore has room in her schedule so I can make appointments with her within a week. She is not only very up to date with the latest research and findings in gynecology, but she is also completely without judgement and is very compassionate. I absolutely love Dr. Anderson and am so glad that she makes me feel so comfortable and informed about my health. So glad I found her!!

MRI -- Technicians had an unnecessary professional attitude…read more Made unreasonable demands & when complied with refused to do the MRI anyway. Patient was reasonably frustrated but nothing else. Staff chose to blame caregiver for patients attitude. Staff was unnecessarily antagonistic to a patient with stage four cancer & their refusal has throw off whole chemo schedule.

Longwood MRI is an incredible experience (note, if the words incredible and MRI are in the same sentence... you're on the right track). I have gotten one other MRI before so I had negative expectations about the experience. Longwood MRI was affordable, efficient, and most importantly they cared about the care I received. The staff are kind and helpful - the doctor who reads the scan is available if you have any questions about your scan after you get it done. I wasn't surprised to learn that Longwood MRI is a family business. The way they treat their patients is unlike most medical facilities around today: they still do it family-style, with only one center run by a husband and wife. Actually managed to pay 1/10 of the price I would have paid anywhere else without compromising quality.

Horrible experience! I missed my last mammogram due to Scheduling not calling me back to set up an…read moreappointment. I left 5 messages- nobody answers the phone. Finally this year I got an appointment in the mail which they set up without verifying with me if I could make it. I took the day off work because I didn't want to go two years without one. Sat in office 3 hours before being seen. All the woman in waiting room waited hours they were told short staffing issues. Tech was not friendly very cold and un compassionate. Two weeks later my PCP called said I need to go back they saw something on my mammogram. Call to make appointment scheduler Karen said your Dr needs to send me the order attn Karen or it goes to bottom of pile and I'll get to it when I get to it! Called PCP she Re Faxed - I call to notify Karen. No answer and she still has not returned my call to set up appointment. Going to a different facility to get further testing. Hopefully it's not Cancer! Please steer clear of this place it could save your life!
