The miscarriage rate goes from 30-50% between the ages of 35-40 and this is something they will not acknowledge or screen for. Even if you easily got pregnant on your own you will waste valuable time waiting to be diagnosed with a miscarriage, determining if all the tissue is clear, etc. this can take close to a year costing valuable time in a short fertile window if you are much over 35. They have cost me a second child with 6month wasted after my first miscarriage, another 8mo at another practice with a second miscarriage. There is no information given to older mothers about the fact that you will go from 25% normal eggs to 10% in 5 years (35-40) and the miscarriage risk is extremely high. There is also no HCG screening done leaving you susceptible to ectopic pregnancy and possible death according to another ob source. I think this is the standard at most practices not to screen because it is a low but serious risk. Just something to be aware of. Pluses include a nice program to meet all the doctors if you deliver at south shore and generally nice staff if things go well. That is if things go well, if not you are on your own.

She then passed me to the Prescription Refill Nurse for Moms refill. I would like to add that I have had very difficult health issues myself over the past three years so I have been speaking with many, many, scheduling departments over that time and Kristin was FAR AND AWAY the best, most pleasant, greatest listener, and offered an extremely intelligent recommended plan. I had multiple blood clots in both lungs! Dr. In the ER said I dodged a bullet! 2 weeks later I had very bad shortness of breath. NP at SSMC said after an X-ray that I had pneumonia and prescribed antibiotics After 3 days I called 911 myself since I felt worse. Was diagnosed with pericardial effusion and spent a week in ICU!

The front desk women are horrible in the weymouth office, one in particular (Lisa) has no respect…read morefor the patients. When you are seeking help for a specific reason they tend to push you aside until they feel like helping. I have dealt with many problems in the past 3 years since I started going there for treatment but more problems have come into play since Lisa started working the front desk in Weymouth. In my opinion, drug rehabilitation is a serious matter, and the women that work at this office treat us in a moderate fashion. Needless to say they don't really care about us as patients, they're just there to get their 8 hours in. Currently I am home sick with COVID-19. I called them for help getting my prescription at the pharmacy since I was having some issues getting it. They have refused to make this easier for me while I am sick in bed with COVID-19 and proceeded to tell me to still come into their office for an appointment potentially infecting other patients and staff. Their blatant disregard for my well being or other patients has become clear to me during our last interaction. I would highly recommend other facilities since my experiences here have not been enjoyable, efficient, or easy as it should be as a recovering patient just trying to get better.

She gave me an excuse about germs. I had a PICC line attached to a portable pump. I got no support with the exception of a 2 minute phone call weeks later, and no follow through.
