Kind of an odd place to review right? I thought so too but gotta give credit where it's due. First off, to say I was a bit hesitant about getting a colonoscopy would be an understatement however, gotta do it. Nobody wants ass cancer. I mean really, ass cancer? Nope, not me! Anyway, no issue scheduling an appointment, like a lot of places there was a bit of a wait but not bad, (couple weeks, maybe a month or so out). I really appreciated how the facility utilized email/text for reminders and guidance throughout the process, especially the "prep" phases the week and days before. Getting a text, "Time to do X" just made it a whole lot easier all around. The facility itself is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Check-in was easy, (standard check-in stuff, name, DOB, etc). Got my wristband, sat down and only waited a couple of mins before being taken in. The place is deceptively larger than it looks from the outside. When I mentioned that to Mike the nurse doing my intake he said. "Endoscopy place with a big ass, go figure?" Up until that point I was still a little nervous but that sealed the deal for me knowing it would be fine. The wait for my procedure was minimal, like maybe 10-15 mins tops, but they had pretty good music playing, (not garbage Muzak like most doctors offices) so that was a bonus. They got me prepped, rolled me in and it was over before I knew it. The thought of this procedure was the most daunting part of the entire process, and that's in no small part to the attitude of the staff. They were all just very nice people that helped make an awkward, but necessary exam very comfortable and easy. My gratitude to Mike and Steve that did my intake, Dr. Hoque, for performing my exam and Marco and forgive me, I can't remember her name, the other nurse that assisted the procedure. read more
