Shiekh isn't the first place I think to shop. However, there is always an exception.
I was on the prowl for a pair of hot pink heels and even though hot pink is a popular color amongst ladies you'd be surprised how challenging they are to find.
The store is small in my opinion but yet comparable in size to other stores such as Cathy Jean, Aldo, and Reflection.
The staff and the quality of their products were ehhh. When it came to the employees I had no problem stopping them but they never stayed with a customer for more than a few seconds. Literally, you only have time to point to an item and say the shoe size before they hurry off. I mean I like that they're hustling but I had questions . . . Like why were there black marks all over the shoes, or why were they cleaning these shoes with erasers and alcohol and trying to pass them off as brand spanking new. . .
Despite the quality of the shoe we decided to purchase them because one, it was the only decent looking pair of hot pink shoes in the entire mall, and two it was only $19.99 which is more than reasonable especially when you're buying something you'll probably only use once.
When it came to checking out the service was still nonexistent. I stood waiting at the register for a good 10 minutes. One employee was cleaning our shoes while asking other customers what shoes they wanted to try. Yes, yes, great multitasking skills but you already have a customer willing and ready to purchase something . . . close the sale lady! Another employee was standing at the register looking at me like I was crazy and when I told him I was ready to check out he was looking for someone to do so, and when he couldn't get anyone to jump on the register he FINALLY rang me up. . .
Tip
If you're promised a discount on shoes make sure they honor it because no one should have to pay full price for "brand new" shoes that come with complimentary stains.
They have promotions such as by a pair of heels and get another pair half off or buy a sandal and get another pair for a penny. read more
