I found SheTime through Groupon and got a classic/natural set done by Michael. I've had my lashes done a few times before and these are by far THE BEST. The lashes are so even, full, and they don't weigh down my natural lashes. The application was completely painless and Michael made sure nothing was clumped together or top lashes sticking to bottom before finishing. Not to mention, it's been a few days and I've followed their aftercare instructions, and the lashes have stayed intact! There is a reason this team has all 5 star reviews. The lashes speak for themselves! Also the customer service here is THE BEST! I got here early for my appointment and Michael let me get started early. He was so quick and precise with the lashes and made me feel at ease right away. I was wary of getting plastic lashes that in the past have weighed down my natural lashes and caused them to fall out. He showed me what kind of lashes they use - only the best stuff!! And he let me feel them so I knew they weren't going to be the cheap tacky painful lashes I've experienced at other places before. The environment is super relaxing and I was asleep and twitching after about 20 minutes. Sorry, Michael!!! You know you're comfortable in a space if you can fall asleep with lights and music on and someone working on your eyes! I cannot say enough positive things about SheTime! It is two weeks after my lash application and only 3 lashes have come off due to me rubbing my eyes (my fault!) Now that is good quality! I have been going to Dani for gel lashes for about a year now. I usually keep it pretty classic, but this past visit I decided to try the brown lashes. I LOVE them. I got my lashes done with Dani for a wedding in July and have been coming regularly since then. I had my lashes done before from another person and they were so extreme that you were able to see them 3 miles away plus the glue stung my eyes so I never wanted to get them done again. My experience with Dani was very pleasant I can fall asleep and when I open my eyes after the procedure there's no weird awkward feeling from your eyes being closed and no stinging!! She also gave me the natural look that I asked for which got me hooked for sure. She even gave me a little bag of brushes to maintain my lashes. Listennnnnn...when I tell you Dani is the truth when it comes to the eyelash extension game....she is the BOMB!!! I found Dani through Groupon and I am so glad I did. Her spot is cute and comfy and she plays the BEST music (courtesy of Pandora lol). I love that she asks what kind of look you're going for, instead of doing her own thing. Since I wear glasses, she recommended that I go with the "cat-eye" look, where it is longer on the outer eye. I am IN LOVE with my lashes! I initially saw her before my trip to Jamaica and my lashes held up well. I have been back for my fill and they look wonderful. I will be sure to stay on top of my fills every 2 weeks. I found She Time and specifically Dani randomly after browsing Groupon for a lash deal. Obviously it's always a risk to buy beauty deals on Groupon because you never know what you're going to get, but I loved my initial set of lashes and have been coming back for a fill every few weeks like clockwork. When I'm doing beauty stuff what I'm really looking for is quality paired with efficiency. I don't want to be laying down with my eyes closed for extended periods of time and Dani is incredibly fast, meaning I can get in and out pretty quickly each appointment. The lashes look amazing so I can minimize the other makeup I wear everyday and most importantly, they last. Even at the 3 week mark when I come back in for a fill, my lashes still look really good. If you're looking for great lashes, consistency, and speed at a decent price point then definitely check Dani out and if you can get a Groupon deal your first time then even better! read more

I purchased a Groupon for lashes. I schedule an appointment with Michael, which was a fairly easy process online. Michael, from my experience, is meticulous at placing eyelash extensions. I truly loved my extensions and received several compliments...I even had a few people ask me if they were real because they looked real! I will however, warn anyone with skin allergies, to know what you're allergic to. When I first had the eyelash extensions placed, I noticed small bumps on my eyelids. Knowing an allergic reaction when I see one, I used hydrocortisone for a week. I went in for a fill, everything was fine...until I arrived home. Unfortunately, my suspicions were correct. I was horribly allergic to the glue. Now, you may ask...why am I posting this?? Well, I noticed a few reviews noting lashing falling off right away...I can tell you, this was not the case for me. I spent DAYS trying to take these lashes off. I was desperately trying to relieve my allergic reaction. I even tried oil based makeup remover and argan oil. Regardless of what I endured, the lashes were beautiful and had I not been allergic to the glue, I would be a reoccurring client. read more

Holy mackerel!!! Found out this place from a friend that I work with and loved the way her lashes looked - I just had a really bad experience with amazing lash studio in Del Mar and was still needed my lashes done before my vaca. When I tell you this place is 100/100 you better believe it. I had mike for my lashes and I am sooooo happy with the way it turned out. He is so professional, clean, nice and organized. I couldn't believe that I got what I wanted! Thought that Del Mar place would do it for me but she time is phenomenal. Everyone has to come here! Dani is the best lash artist in town! I've been going to her for about 3 years now. Believe me, I have gone to maybe 6 other lash girls over the years, and thank god she is here to stay. She's professional, on time, fast, friendly, does a fantastic job, has very real, natural lashes, and is still affordable at the same time! I get compliments on my lashes on a daily basis (I'm a bartender) and give her name out all the time. Everyone asks, are your lashes real orrr? Which is the perfect balance of what I want. They don't look too fake and giant, while still looking beautiful, long, and full. No one wants Snuffleupagus lashes. Although, if you do want that, she can provide those more voluminous lashes too. I'm a simple girl. I like make-up but not a lot. I like getting my hair done but usually just a quick color and trim. I'm busy being a full-time student and want to wash and go. I know the trend lately is to get false lashes applied every couple weeks and I love fake lashes but can never put them on right with glue. I thought I'd get on the trend and buy a Groupon from Dani to see if I liked how the maintenance was with these things on my face; I sweat a lot at the gym so I was worried they might be a waste of money because they melted off. Not only is Dani quick, within my budget, and awesome....they look amazing and they last up to three weeks (because I take care of them). And the Groupon was a good deal. It was a full set and a refill for like $90. 1. I have short eyelashes...boo! So I would die without mascara. With Dani's lashes, my make-up routine is little to no application. Some days I just put lotion on my face and leave because I'm THAT confident about my face. 2. If you take care of them, give them a quick brush (which she gives you a new colorful one every time), don't rub them when you're face is wet, don't but oil make-up on them (like crappy or waterproof mascara/liner), they will last 3 weeks easily. It sounds like a lot, but the less you put on your face and touch it anyway the better right? 3. The place is so cute! She has put so much effort to make this place comfortable and pleasant. The table I lie on is so comfortable. 4. I know this sounds weird but her hygeine is nice! Since she's face to face with you, sometimes people can smell but not Dani girl! 5. You can book appointments online. She's always working so I've seen Sunday-Saturday schedules available pretty much all day. My best friend is jealous because they always Look so great. My mom loves them, my boyfriend compliments them, and I will never go back to mascara. If you've never gotten them done and want to try....do it! read more

They're Groupon pricing is good but they charged me $40 for a 1 week fill. One week! That's steep even for a 2 week fill. When I asked how much It was for a refill, before I made the appointment, they didn't tell me it was extra for the hybrid. They said it was the same price for refills for any kind. So they say they are cheaper, but they really aren't. They're only cheap if you do classic extensions. read more

Finally a real place to get some 'me time' I encourage you to try SheTime! SheTime is quaintly tucked into a friendly hair salon, but there is a separate waiting room and private treatment room. Side note: each of my appointments have been timely so I've never even had to 'wait' in the waiting room. Having timely service is important to me and Dani has proven that she too isn't just on time but respects others schedules. Twice now I've had to reschedule, but she has a convenient 24-hour window! I love how Dani picked decor that is more bright and cheerful than dull and 'regular' for a salon. Her space is clean which I do not make any exceptions for when I'm paying for services and being touched. Dani and a person is friendly but not over the top. There's been days where we've talked through our who appointment and there's been times when I've fallen asleep. She does a great job at matching my mood without ever taking anything personal. I really enjoy the time I spend with her! I go for the eyelashes, in which she does extraordinary work, waxing and soon I'll do the microblading! She communicates with her clients, although not in an annoying way, so I know she's going to offer a few more services and I'm totally interested in trying each of them! I refer people to Dani all the time, I feel confident and excited to do so. I've read some of her other reviews so I know she treats other clients with the same respect she does me. Oh yeah, I bought some great items from her retail rack for my Mom. She loved them! I enjoy seeing what SheTime has on display each time I arrive. Give Dani a call, or use her online booking. It's been years since I've had eyelash extensions and I had such a great experience with Michael. I scheduled my appointment two weeks before my wedding and will return in two weeks to get them filled (thank you Michael for fitting me in so that my lashes will look good for my wedding). The 20% discount for eyebrows should have subtracted $3 for each person with a check-in discount. We made sure to clarify all three of us had the offer. With 3 people getting the eyebrow+lip combo, it was originally $75.00 (ea: $15 eyebrows+$10 lips). We were charged $72.00 at register. :/ Again, service was good, but the checkout experience left us feeling iffy once more. ://

I booked an appointment with Ashton for microshading (because after over a decade, I'm kind of tired of drawing my brows on every day!) Just as I remember her from almost 10 years ago when she used to do lashes, she was awesome! So sweet and so knowledgeable. She did a great job with my wonky brows! I wanted (or thought I did) my brows to look a certain way, so we agreed that I would come with them done how I normally do them so she could use that as a starting point and map the shape from there. I didn't even check the shape before we started because I trusted her and knew that she was going to get me right! I was SPOOKED the first day/couple of days because the shape was a little bolder and different than I expected, and you know when you're used to seeing your face a certain way every day, any minuscule change is going to be jarring to you (especially eyebrows LOL). BUT after they peeled and healed over in a few days, I L O V E D them. The color was PERFECT, the shape was PERFECT, they looked amazing. There were a couple of little parts that I wanted touched up, which we did two weeks later (on the dot), and now they are legit AMAZING. I am so happy I did this, and after so many years of considering it, I'm SO GLAD I waited until I ironically ended up in Ashton's orbit again and I was able to have her do them!

I decided to get a lash lift and tint. It was my first time and I'm glad that I decided to go here! Ashton is such a sweetie and answered all of my questions! Very knowledgeable as well. She was very professional and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. Her salon is so cozy and modern. It felt like a spa and was so calming and peaceful that I almost fell asleep! My lashes looked so great afterwards! I love them! My eye did stung a little during the tinting, not horribly uncomfortable, but that's because my eye can get sensitive. Can't wait to see Ashton again in a few weeks!!

I am so happy to have been referred to Melisa at Luxe because she is amazing and my lashes are always . They are a little more expensive than what I am used to but the quality is phenomenal. The studio is very clean and well decorated. The owners and the other staff are very friendly. My natural lashes are long but thin and sparse so I opt for volume lashes.
