This place is a joke! I wised I read the reviews before I was referred here. Data does not lie and…read moreso many people have had negative experience with this place and the provider. The reviews go back to almost 10 years! The place has made no changes and that should say something! Just saw them a couple weeks ago and saw Buhac. I was in the office for all of 5min for them to prescribe the same medication that was not working from a previous provider. The doctor hardly came in the room and barely checked me. I self diagnosed myself and was in and out. They had the audacity to bill my insurance $600 for 5 minutes. I had a deductible I was happy to pay to get rid of them. These people do not care about patient service or the concerns of a patient. These two things are paramount in the health industry! People need to be able to trust doctors! As someone who has worked in healthcare, this establishment is embarrassing. There are more receptionists there than patients and they are too busy socializing when there is a line. They never answer their phones and you have to use an app to communicate. God forbid anyone should talk to a person, but if you want to make a payment, they are quick to call you back.

The doctor did the normal examination found and one suspicious spot on my right shoulder. He couldn't do it at that time (perhaps a medicare requirement). When I came back a month later he found the spot to be biopsied - ON THE OPPOSITE SHOULDER. When I pointed out that he had circled and photo'd a spot on the other shoulder he said he didn't notice it the first time and, obviously very embarrassed, told me a bunch of excuses trying to cover up his incompetence. Are you surprised that the biopsy came back negative? He was supposed to send me photos of the spot before it was biopsied, but they never came. He was cheating me and Medicare and I am sure it is a racket that should be examined by 60 M inutes.

my case worker suggested yelling on fb so why not …read more. I'm about 6 weeks past due for my biologic medication. This medication prevents inflammation. Sounds simple, but this means joint pain from psoriatic arthritis, digestive issues cos IBS, etc. It's an injection that treats a host of issues and it's Very Necessary. Medicare denied it. Unbeknownst to me my Dr got it approved May 7th. No one told me. My appt on the 3rd was missed because I was unable to get transportation. I was dressed and waiting, but nobody showed. I thought I needed this appt to get my meds handled cos insurance. I rescheduled for two weeks out, but when I called to reschedule, I wasn't at any point allowed to speak to a human. Remember, at this point as far as I know, I can't get my meds because insurance. I finally get to the Dr last week and they tell me they can't release my medication cos they need a TB test first. Not once in the more than a month prior to this did anyone mention I needed this TB test. No one told me insurance had approved my meds 4 wks earlier. Every time I tried to contact Schweiger Dermatology, I ended up talking to a robot, both via phone call and text. Missing my medication means it may not work as effectively once I restart it. This was an absolute failure on the part of the Drs office as a result of leaning on non-human workforce. Any human looking at my chart could have seen the test was required, that I'd missed it, that I have memory issues, and a simple phone call would have saved me weeks of absolute misery.

A new doctor was assigned after my good one left the practice. The treatment was not working and I called my provider for guidance. I was told to get a refill for medication that I had not finished and keep using it. The problem got worse and my skin was cracked and bleeding. My primary doctor stepped in when she saw how raw my skin was. Why would I need to continue treatment at the D grade doctor care that I received at the Shweiger Dermatology of Clifton Park NY practice when my primary cleared up the problem Shweiger Dermatology created? I am not paying for doctor play who doesn't know what doing. I am not staying for more incompetence at the Shweiger Dermatology of Clifton Park NY so I walked out of last appointment without being seen. Trying to address with assistant and a certified letter that I was behavior issue and not a good person for not trusting my healthcare to the Shweiger Dermatology of Clifton Park, NY practice.

Show up 15 minutes early, after a 45 minute drive, to be told the doctor they scheduled me with does not participate in my insurance. No, no one else can see me today....can I come back next week? So here I am, one week and another 45 minute drive later, sitting in the waiting room at 9AM when I had an 8:30AM appointment. If they're running behind at 8:30 in the morning, I can't imagine how long one waits for an afternoon appointment! I got in to see the PA at 9:05. She was very thorough, explained everything, so I'm very satisfied with the actual care given. But it is now noon, and my pharmacy still has not received my prescriptions. I called and was told it should be "by the end of the day." All in all, a pretty frustrating experience. Not sure if I'll subject myself to this again next year.
