The atmosphere in the store is friendly yet professional and it is so refreshing to get personalized help. And these gals know their stuff!!! I could see they had other customers so I told them that we would leave and come back and he told me it would be 10 to 15 minutes. We went and got a drink and came back and waited at least another 15 minutes. I finally called them, trying to be considerate in my offer,, and told them that we could come back and pick it up tomorrow if they were busy. The man I talked to on the phone explained that the machine that adds the color was giving them a hard time and that they had two colors mixed and would try to get the others done soon after they get it fixed. I told him that we could come back tomorrow and pick them up. Then he repeated his exact message only this time he said it very, very slow as if I was having a hard time understanding. This did not sit well with me. I told him to stop. I told him I understood his message and all I'm asking is, can we come back tomorrow and pick it up? I felt like he was extremely condescending and rude to me. Especially because I was trying to take the pressure off of them by offering to come back tomorrow. I do not blame the whole business for this, it was one man, but it was extremely rude on his part. You don't treat people like this.

The store employee arranged for one of the color design specialist to call me on her day off. Tessa Schaecher was the designer and was absolutely amazing. I had walked in frustrated not know what exterior colors would compliment the other etc., and I had to have my mind made up the following day. But now that Yelp has shown me the magic of smaller businesses, we looked around and found a Rodda down the road. We stopped in on a Thursday morning to find some samples and we're so glad that we did! We have now been in three times. The first two to find some samples and the third to place the large order for all the paint we will need to paint the interior of our house (GULP!) The staff here were so helpful. All three times we have been in, it has been the same lady and gentleman working and both of them have been awesome. They answered all our questions, without hovering or trying to make big sales. On my second trip in, I was looking for a paint that was somewhere in between two other colors and the gentleman poured over all their paint chips to find me the perfect one! And sure enough, that's the one that's going up on our walls! They advised us on the type of sheen to get for the three different colors (we have to do ceiling, walls AND trim...double GULP) and which ones would be the most durable to hold up against Hurricane (1 years old). They have done a great job for me when I needed glass repairs or window replacements. This business has been very helpful and does quality work. I had 3 windows replaced on the north side of my home with tinted glass for privacy and these windows had to be custom build for the openings. Again, a flawless job from Superior Glass I need to add that Superior has replaced several windshields for us over the years along with chip repairs at a very reasonable cost for these jobs.

The told us couldn't do it at that store and sent us to another. 5 stores later and never once offering to call ahead, even when we called ahead they told us they could, only to arrive and be told they could not an eventually be told we were told we were out of luck. We thought about and decided they are not the only paint store in town and went to Benjamin Moore, it was a whole different vibe walking in, it was friendly and welcoming, we worked with Ken and felt Ken actually wanted to help us accomplish our goal. While this specific store also could not do the match (we need and oil based lacquer), he called around until he found a store that could. When we arrived at the next store, they were also super friendly and welcoming. This was such a different experience. Not only will we use them for our home projects, we will also use them for our small business and suggest them to other businesses we work with.
