The customer service is here is top notch. The store is always so organized and they carry anything paint related. They even have a small showroom in the back. He recommended I buy epoxy to fill in after the bad wood was removed. The manager listened to what I needed and checked out the photo of the tubed pliable material I was looking for. Turned out Sherwin didn't have the exact product I needed, but a different one was in stock and he took me over to it for further explanation. I appreciated his knowledge and the time he was willing to spend educating me about how to use it correctly. Bondo was the name, and apparently it is well known in the construction and repair business. It required some careful preparation, gloves and fresh air to avoid its toxic properties. It worked well, but due to the mass of wood replaced, I realized I also needed to buy wood trim that matched the rest of the porch to cover over the filler and improve the final look of the job. A coat or two of matching "Dark Pine" exterior paint should be the final step. That will be next. Four Home Repair Stars and a sticky bucket of Bondo!

We were in the midst of doing some renovations when one of our cabinets got damaged. It had a…read moresynthetic coating which was impossible to fix, but our handyman came to the rescue and recommended the Paint Store to us for paint color matching. So we popped off a door and went down to the shop to check it out. As it was not true paint and because it was a bit old, they were unable to nail the color exactly. However, they gave us the closest match they could and it came out absolutely perfect! We were able to touch the cabinet up and the color was so seamless that you can't even tell it was damaged at all. We also needed to pick up a few sample colors for various rooms and we solicited their advice on quite a few things like finish and durability. They were really helpful and too a good chunk of time to steer us towards products that would work best for our project. I thought the staff at this shop did an excellent job overall with our needs. I would definitely recommend them if you have any paint matching needs or if you're just straight-up buying paint for your home. Five stars from me.

They were able to match it as a Benjamin Moore paint called, "Steamed Spinach." Who'd a thunk it would be that easy? So, they mixed me a quart of it, low gloss, and I walked out a happy homeowner. The experience was pleasant and completely no sweat. The shop has all the material necessary for such jobs. The prices are not as cheap as the highway box stores, but the convenience of being 5 minutes from home, and keeping our community businesses successful, is worth the small premium to me. Now, all I need is a way to get 30 feet up to the gable to paint.

This is business done the old-fashioned way - very personalized service and top-of-the-line paint and accessories. There's a woman there named Betsy who has worked there for many years. She thoroughly knows the product line and is able to make the correct recommendation for the product you need. They are Benjamin Moore paint dealers, so be aware that these paints cost a little more than the junk you get a the 'Depot or Lowes. But they are well worth the extra bucks because Benjamin Moore paints go on a whole lot easier and last a whole lot longer. In the long-run the Ben Moore paint is cheaper because it saves so much labor, and your project will look better for more years. Big collection of wall paper and paint samples to take home. Highest recommendation. I hate to paint, but if I gotta, this is where I go first.

The young lady who greeted me was very helpful and directed me exactly where I needed to go. I don't have time to wander around Home Depot looking for items, so that level of guidance makes a big difference. The associate at the Customer Service counter checked me out quickly. I was in and out. Overall, this location is well-stocked, well-organized, and the staff here are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the extra drive for me. I took them back to where I got them from, took a picture of the sign and showed a worker there the sign. If the signage was incorrect Gasper should have honored the sign. Poor business decision. I went to Farm and Garden Station not too far away and picked up two beautiful flats of Vinca for $19.99, Gasper has them for $29.99. I still like Gaspers but feel they made a poor business decision.
