(I know all the paint companies say they can make each other's paints but it never turns out the same imo). Scott, the manager, greeted us promptly and was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Even when the store started to get a little busier he was able to help multiple customers while never making us feel forgotten. In fact I joined yelp just so I could review this store as I was so happy with the service! I was surprised it wasn't already listed on Yelp (though they've only been in business five months or so as of April 2018) so I added it. :-) If you're looking for a friendly, well stocked, clean Benjamin Moore dedicated paint store we now have one in Vancouver! I parked steps from the door and got everything I wanted from my visit, so 5 stars (though I can't yet speak to value for money since everything I needed this time was free.) I'm in the process of purchasing real estate in Vancouver WA for the first time, and I know I prefer Benjamin Moore's Aura paint. This shop was very convenient to the home of the relative I was staying with, so I stopped by to pick up paint samples to bring to a few condo showings. I will return when it is time to purchase my paint unless subsequent visits prove any less pleasant and helpful. This is a relatively small shop in a strip mall across from a Safeway grocery store, but, so far, I have a very positive view of the customer service.

This Hollywood location provides one-stop shopping for all of my needs, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They've even helped me carry my paint and supplies out to my car on several occasions. If you are remodeling a home, or spending a considerable amount of time and money on a home project, it pays to develop a relationship with a brand and retailer you can trust. The folks at Miller Paint have consistently proven themselves to me time and time again, saving me time and money in the long run.

Great quality paint! We decided to visit Metro Paint when…read morewe bought our house and wanted to change the colors. I've spent the last year painting the entire inside and outside of the house. I've purchased paint from Metro, BiMart and Home Depot over this time. Metro Paint is far better than PPG paint that I purchased from BiMart. The Berh paint from Home Depot definitely has a better smell and was smoother but for over twice the price I wouldn't recommend it over Metro. Exterior: The exterior paint went on really nice! I brush and roller painted all of it. It took 2 coats of the brick red and 3 coats of white to get really solid coverage. *The white is covering a dark hunter green so it needed far more paint to cover than a lighter color would have. We also had a 2 tone house and the white sections did need a light 3 coat to really solidly cover with the brick red. If you're not changing your house color drastically 2 coats of Metro Paint will be enough. Interior: Great coverage. Again, if your not drastically changing colors and need extra coverage to hide the existing color you'll use less paint. Two coats will definitely cover anything nicely, in some cases one coat will work. I even painted our bathroom vanities with Metro Paint and they look great. All of the paint I've used seems to be holding up well over the last year. I haven't had any issues with cleaning or easy chipping so far. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They occasionally even run sales and specials through the year as well. GIVE IT A TRY!

They are an "authorized Benjamin Moore Retailer" so they carry that line of paint, stain, and supplies to apply it. They pride themselves on how much they stock (so they rarely tell you they don't have what you need) and their well-trained employees (so you're able to get the help and answers you need).

Have been coming here a lot lately because I'm helping friends with the design part of a big…read moreremodel. Paint is the easiest way to transform a room, but selecting a paint color is far from easy! Color is a reflection of the light and color around it it so a particular paint color can look vastly different when you paint it on your walls and it reflects the hardwoods, carpets, furniture, etc in the room. I'm pretty good at seeing the "color" and tone in a sample, meaning is the gray pulling blue, brown, sage, purple? After painting several large swatches on the walls, I felt the gray we chose was pulling too much blue so we went back to the store with the goal of finding the same level of saturation but a few spots over on the color wheel so it would have a brown base. Luke was working that evening and when I explained the intention, he chose a color he felt would meet our needs. He also recommended painting the sample color on large 2x3 sheets of paper so we could move the paper to all areas of the room and see it in different lighting conditions. He said he wasn't trying to get us to spend more money, he was making this suggestion because we mentioned how the colors seemed so off because the existing wall is an orange tan. Sure enough, when we painted the samples on white, and put the papers in the wall, we were able to see the color more realistically. The color he suggested ended up being the perfect greige (gray beige) that we were seeking. We came back a few days later to find a pure white for the trim and were running into the same challenges. There is no pure white because white definitely picks up on the colors around it. We were in luck because Luke was there again! We had narrowed it down to Chantilly Lace and Super White. Without telling him our choices, we asked him which white would show as true white against the greige. Now, there are dozens and dozens of whites. Instantly he said Chantilly Lace. We painted more white sheets, put them on the wall, looked at them at night and in the daylight against the greige walls and hardwood floors. Chantilly Lace was the unanimous decision. Now, before we saw Luke, there was someone else working who was not nearly as helpful. In fact, it seemed like he didn't want to answer any of our questions or assist at all when it came to trying to decipher colors and how they would appear. So I think we had several super experiences because of Marcus. We have several more rooms to go, and we will continue to come back to Dick's Color Center / Sherman Williams because of the great advice and fabulous experience working with Luke.
