I went in full of questions and uncertainty and I left full of answers and confidence! This was because Shawn at KM helped me through all of the steps. He made very honest and realistic suggestions and leveled with me. He never made me feel less-than because I was not an expert. Shawn walked through the entire store with me in every single aisle twice! Once when I was overwhelmed and then again after I caught on. Besides for the excellent customer service, I could not believe the great deals I found. SHEETS, SHEETSSSS of sand paper sponges the price of half of one sandpaper sheet at big box stores. Plus angled brushes, drop-cloths, and HIGH-quality painters tape for so much cheaper than even Walmart. Seriously, it's worth a trip even just to look around. Plus, they have the excellent quality hybrid paints for special projects. I can tell a huge difference in paint from KM and other places.

They also have various furniture (i.e. Chairs, tables, etc.) Plus a variety of other items like lamps, mirrors, sculptures, candles, and more! I try to get decorating ideas and imagine where/how I could use/place each item around the house. Pro tip: check the clearance area to find even better deals on great stuff!

I LOVE Rifle Paper Co, and it was so fun to see so much of it in stock here. I really didn't know anyone carried it locally, but I also haven't ever really looked for wallpaper before, so what do I really know? They are also just super helpful. It's basically the opposite experience to going to a big box store. Everyone in here cares that you're here, wants to help, wants to get you all taken care of. And, it seems like, unlike some other paint stores I've been in, they don't mind helping someone who is about as far from a professional painter as you can get. I have literally no idea what I'm doing, but they were helpful and nice. I've been in paint stores before where they literally didn't talk to you if you weren't in coveralls and have paint under your nails. This seems like a shop that is equally happy to help professionals as it is to help a professional dilettante like me!

I buy pre catalyzed lacquer, spray toners as well as touch up markers and fill & blend sticks. We tend to go through some colors of our touch up kit quickly so there are always things we need to fill in the gaps. Plus, I don't have to pay hazrdous shipping rates since I'm not ordering online! Big online store that starts with an A charges double for the aerosols, pretending it's free shipping but instead you are paying hazmat fees. Munger Paint looks like a modest sized store on the outside but it's amazing how much they have once you walk in the door.
