It's basically the opposite experience to going to a big box store. Everyone in here cares that you're here, wants to help, wants to get you all taken care of. And, it seems like, unlike some other paint stores I've been in, they don't mind helping someone who is about as far from a professional painter as you can get. I have literally no idea what I'm doing, but they were helpful and nice. I've been in paint stores before where they literally didn't talk to you if you weren't in coveralls and have paint under your nails. This seems like a shop that is equally happy to help professionals as it is to help a professional dilettante like me!

I buy pre catalyzed lacquer, spray toners as well as touch up markers and fill & blend sticks. We tend to go through some colors of our touch up kit quickly so there are always things we need to fill in the gaps. Plus, I don't have to pay hazrdous shipping rates since I'm not ordering online! Big online store that starts with an A charges double for the aerosols, pretending it's free shipping but instead you are paying hazmat fees. Munger Paint looks like a modest sized store on the outside but it's amazing how much they have once you walk in the door.

This time while in OKC, I saw the store nearby and decided to take a stroll. Holy moly it's huge and dare I say a bit overwhelming! You can easily set up an entire apartment, house, RV, dorm room or whatever space you need to take care of here at a very reasonable price. I was merely visiting, so I had limited space since I had already shopped galore during my stay. It didn't stop me from picking up a few small seasonal items though! The cart I was pushing had a map of the store, which was very helpful. While I didn't walk through furniture or big items, I noticed a massive amount for both indoor and outdoor. The Christmas holiday section was enormous and I had the biggest smile as I walked through. I'm somewhat regretting not buying an additional suitcase; however, I know I'll be back.
