My boyfriend recently purchased a TV from Aaron's Rent to Own, and the entire experience has been…read moreextremely frustrating. First, the TV was supposed to be shipped. After waiting, we were then told they don't offer shipping for that specific TV, so we had to drive to the store to pick it up instead. When we arrived, the manager (I'm assuming she was the manager) told us that the TV we originally purchased had been given to someone else, but they had "another one" to give us. She then mentioned that the remote and the TV stand legs were not in the box, which immediately raised red flags. Because of that, I specifically asked if the TV they were giving us had been used. She clearly stated it was brand new out of the box. That was not true. The box was badly beaten up and clearly not new. Once we got the TV home and set it up, there were multiple streaming accounts already logged in (Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube), proving it had been used before. On top of that, there are visible dots across the bottom of the screen, indicating a display issue. If I hadn't directly asked whether the TV was used -- and if I hadn't been explicitly told it was brand new -- I wouldn't be nearly as upset. The biggest issue here is being misled. This is not acceptable when you're paying for what is supposed to be a new product. Very disappointed and would not recommend unless honesty and transparency improve.

I also found that the furniture could be purchased and paid for in full and that ended up being much less expensive. In some cases 50 percent less expensive. If paying the full price up front is not an option, I noticed the price of a living room set, sectional was about $139.00 per month and most items seemed to be available to rent for around that price, it appeared 24 months was the average length of most rental agreements advertised. No one greeted, spoke to me or offered assistance but then again I didn't need any since I was only browsing. I wouldn't return because there are plenty of other furniture options available and I'm not interested in renting to own anything at this time.

Northern Tool is a neat place to find the niche tool or part that you can't find at the bigger box…read morestores. It doesn't have the breadth of selection of Lowe's or home depot, but in has a much greater "depth" for what it does have. As an example, you won't find as many chainsaw options here as you would at Lowe's, but Northern Tool has the replacement filters, spark plugs, mufflers, etc for the equipment they do carry, which makes it an invaluable resource to the owners of things like Stihl chainsaws or blowers. It's pretty fun to just walk around and window shop. Workers are very nice and willing to answer any questions, and i think they totally understand the male desire to not ask for help ;)

I told you that is not gonna work. The young man and woman were spending their time trying to find inventory and not serving a customer. This woman is a detriment to this company. Her attitude was she didn't care that they didn't have a sample, she knows nothing about business and I hope the owner reads this and gets rid of her as soon as possible as she has no business sense whatsoever.

We were seriously considering outfitting the entire home with products from your store until something happened that left me completely shaken. As soon as we walked in, we witnessed an older male manager (Mathew Ruggiero) yelling and cussing out a young female employee loudly and aggressively I have no idea what prompted the outburst, but there is absolutely no justification for speaking to anyone that way "I gave you everything you f*cking have". This is disgusting to hear coming from someone in a leadership position. It was hostile, uncomfortable, and frankly disgusting to witness. I was so disturbed by what I saw that my husband immediately ushered us out of the store. And I had to stop him from going back in to confront the manager directly that's how upsetting and inappropriate the situation was. We sat in the car for a moment, still stunned. Eventually, my husband went back inside to get the name of the manager involved, because we didn't feel right just walking away from this without saying something. I'm writing this now because something this serious cannot be brushed aside. If this is how employees are treated here, I can't in good conscience support the business as a customer and I truly hope action is taken. No one deserves to be humiliated and berated like that in front of others, and it reflects terribly on your brand and company culture. We will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward but this needs to be addressed, and soon....

And waited. And waited. A little over one whole minute passes (much longer than it seems in a quiet store while you're being deliberately ignored) of me standing uncomfortably tapping my feet and jingling my keys around. I finally cleared my throat loudly and two men walked in (so it'd been almost two minutes now) and she put her phone down, looked at me, and obviously annoyed with me said "I can help you....?" I responded "yes I'm picking up an order for (company name) or (boss name)" she pressed and few buttons on the keyboard and said "no you're not" I said "yes I am?" Very confused. She walkie talkies to somebody asking if they have an order for the company; yet says our company name wrong and doesn't say my bosses name; so I reminded her of the correct name and my bosses name and she refuses to ask again until I go out to my car and ask exactly what we're getting and loudly says "NEXT" for the attention of the men behind me. I've never ever been treated so poorly in a "professional" setting before much less by somebody working for a company we use for work. I was pretty upset considering how nice I am to everybody I meet and call my bosses who forgot to tell me I was expected at the other location and that this woman is always extremely rude to them too. How is this at all acceptable?

I went into this showroom kind of on a whim and told the sales rep I was looking for a pretty toilet. None of that modern stuff, a classy looking John was what I wanted. She pointed me to a toilet in the showroom that fit the bill looks-wise and was one piece, which was even better. So we bought it, they delivered and we had it installed. Best toilet ever: It never stops up and somehow never looks dirty. A couple years later the toilet started doing this weird screaming thing, I called the store and told them what was happening, and the parts came in the mail a few days later. An easy switch out for my husband and no more yelling commode. I just ordered two more today and can't wait to get them installed so my kids will stop clogging up the pathetic Kohler in their bathroom. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
