I came into the store July 2, 2025. I asked for several samples because I need to put a floor down in the next two weeks. The young lady said they didn't have them and "it wasn't a problem for them". I told her you're gonna lose thousands of dollars by losing my sale because you can't provide a sample, you can't pull out a piece of flooring to show me and you told me I could order something online for $15. I told you that is not gonna work. The young man and woman were spending their time trying to find inventory and not serving a customer. This woman is a detriment to this company. Her attitude was she didn't care that they didn't have a sample, she knows nothing about business and I hope the owner reads this and gets rid of her as soon as possible as she has no business sense whatsoever. read more

I came into your store today with the intent to make a major purchase. My husband and I just bought a beautiful two-story home off Bull Street downtown, and we're in the process of completely redoing the floors. We were seriously considering outfitting the entire home with products from your store until something happened that left me completely shaken. As soon as we walked in, we witnessed an older male manager (Mathew Ruggiero) yelling and cussing out a young female employee loudly and aggressively I have no idea what prompted the outburst, but there is absolutely no justification for speaking to anyone that way "I gave you everything you f*cking have". This is disgusting to hear coming from someone in a leadership position. It was hostile, uncomfortable, and frankly disgusting to witness. I was so disturbed by what I saw that my husband immediately ushered us out of the store. And I had to stop him from going back in to confront the manager directly that's how upsetting and inappropriate the situation was. We sat in the car for a moment, still stunned. Eventually, my husband went back inside to get the name of the manager involved, because we didn't feel right just walking away from this without saying something. I'm writing this now because something this serious cannot be brushed aside. If this is how employees are treated here, I can't in good conscience support the business as a customer and I truly hope action is taken. No one deserves to be humiliated and berated like that in front of others, and it reflects terribly on your brand and company culture. This location is now known as Lumber Liquidators.. the staff was very friendly but very protective of their installers. The team consulted with the contractor rather than with me, to create an invoice.. they took advantage of my kindness and trust and proposed a floor order twice the amount (this cover 2 floors) I was then told you have to purchase a little more just in case. But if the measurements are on point WHY? after some back in forth I was ready to have the floor started but frustrated with the process I PAID for the order.. Only to have the contractor they provided STEAL the floor and installed outdated flooring that this company no longer carry. I discussed it with Jade the sales rep and she gave me a song and dance but course she had her commission. The contractor George of Awesome Details refused to give me receipts for almost $5000 and no contractor installation agreement just took the money and all of the extra property to put another floor down . Thrives and lairs was so unnecessary along with the FACT that he info me HE would be putting the floor in BUT on the day of the contact to begin ( it took them 5 days) I find that on the third day he has a convicted felon That he introduces as Tony and that he was doing the work . Two days in he was asking for payment. The floor is ragged and ugly I had to have it pulled up and redone. Never use this location if you are meeting them for the first time. RIPPED OFF! STAY AWAY FROM LL FLOORING!!! December 2023 I had new LVP flooring installed. I spoke with and contracted with LL Flooring and only wrote checks to LL Flooring. I have recently noticed (June-July 2024) that in places in every room the new flooring is now "bouncy," some places barely noticeable and other places like a bounce house full of children. I went to LL Flooring today and was informed it was not their problem, but the installer's. They could give me the name and number of their installer and I could contact them. LL Flooring was not responsible. I only talked to the installer to schedule the appointment and the day of install. At completion I signed paperwork stating they had done the job. I never wrote them a check. I contracted with and wrote checks to LL Flooring. Now it's not their problem and I have to resolve it with an entity I never contracted with or wrote a check to. The 12 month warranty sign on the LL Flooring door is a bunch of hooey!!! Stay away!!! read more

I just relocated here from the Hilton Head area and my wife is 7 months pregnant! My wife and I wanted to be in a house with the nursery ready to go as soon as we could! I had seen a commercial for Lumber Liquidators and then visited the store and spoke with Nate the Assistant Manager whom gave us samples. Nate was not only very knowledgeable, but patient (wife had a lot of questions, lol), and polite. My wife and I have both called the store in regards to pricing, our quote(s), installation times, delivery times, etc. and have not had 1 unpleasant interaction! I appreciate the team that is in place at this location for making this HUGE task into something very minimal for me. Nate got us a quote that we felt suited our budget where we did the 24 months no interest financing. We had them deliver all 1700 ft2 of flooring, padding, 26 stairs, 28 risers, transitions, shoe molding, and a few other things the installers recommended. It was over 6000 lbs! A few days after the delivery the installation manager Robert called and scheduled the appointment in which they showed up EARLY and stayed LATE (rare quality these days)! They had over 1500 ft2 of disgusting laminate removed, 100 ft2 of tile removed, and 1700 ft2 of the new LVP/EVP waterproof flooring installed IN 1 DAY! The following day they came and did the stair case (3 story home with 26 stairs, 28 risers). On the third day they came and installed all of the shoe molding around the walls and removed all the big debris. I did have to clean up little bits and pieces but I wasn't exactly expecting them to bust out the mops, brooms and waxes to get my floor sparkling lol. I also had to connect my toilets back (replaced the wax rings while I was at it) but this was discussed beforehand since they are not plumbers. The store did an excellent job coordinating this exorbitant amount of work, something that may have taken me MONTHS to complete took them a mere 3 days. When moving in we also noticed how scratch resistant this stuff is! I literally dragged my washer and dryer 30 ft across the house and hooked them up without 1 scratch! My wife and I decided to redo our kitchen floor after replacing the bathroom faucet. Trust me, the train of thought from one to the other makes sense. We ordered a single box of the color that we wanted to use to take home and lay it out to get a good idea of what we were looking at. Turns out, we needed to paint the kitchen walls too, because although we liked the new floor pattern, the wall color just didn't match. So, new bathroom faucet = new kitchen / bathroom floor + new kitchen / bathroom paint. We then placed a larger order, which my son and I picked up at the back of the building because their display room is not open yet due to the COVID19 situation. Our 16 boxes were loaded into the car and we were on our way. We could've payed a professional to install the floor, but since we're home on quarantine anyway, we figured we'd give it a go. It really wasn't too hard, and we had fun doing it. We have several boxes to return because we overestimated (not a bad thing) but they're not taking returns yet because of the COVID19 situation. I just can't say enough about the service that I received from Nick. I was quoted a price for flooring that seemed quite astronomical to me and my pocketbook. Nick stepped in and made several alternative (more economical) suggestions. All in all Nick came through and my price tag decreased by over $800. Now that may not seem like a big deal to some but for me it made my new flooring an obtainable reality. Nick, I truly appreciate the great customer service that you exemplified. As a single woman trying to remodel her home I was not taken advantage of but instead was given superior service. Nick, thank you so much for caring for your consumers. I would not purchase from this company again. They told us one thing regarding the installation process. Then when the installers began the installation, we received a phone call that we needed to pay an additional amount of $2,200.00. We were told if we didn't pay it, they would stop the installation. The information that was communicated to us was that the install included measuring, inspection of flooring for necessary leveling, and then the floors would be leveled as necessary to ensure a professional installation. We were never told that this would be an additional charge or this part. They talk a wonderful and friendly talk. We were told there would be a resolution and we would get call back. We never heard from them again. The installers had to redo several sections of flooring due to their errors and it was at our expense. They left a horrible mess! We paid an additional amount for shoe molding to be added which was supposed to included caulking and filling in all nail heads. That was horrible. I do have pictures to prove it. When we reached out to the install manager, he came back out supposedly to correct the issues. He never looked at the whole job. Almost every nail hole we had to go back and fill in. They are not cheap, so this is not one of those "get what you pay for." Please read reviews because I should have adhered to them. This is not a company you want to give your money to. read more

Good & Bad. Had LumberLiquidators install LVP Vinyl. Everything was good EXCEPT they delivered and started installing the wrong floor!! Wasn't even close! Had to prove wasn't my fault (felt I was treated as guilty until proven innocent). Incorrect floor removed and correct one installed. Because of delay installation lasted into evening = many discussions next day with HOA about having contractors after hours & almost fined. Salesman sort of apologized but then said how tired he was because he had to drive all the way out to my place delivering the correct floor and then back to the office! Called a more local flooring company which was disorganized and so I decided to get floor from Savannah highway Charleston lumber liquidator as they were having a sale. We were in a crunch with only one week before movers were showing up with furniture and it was Thanksgiving week. Long story short. The lumber liquidators rep said he would do what he could to get someone out to measure the floor and install, but no promises. Chip Webster from Ray's Flooring was sent by Lumber Liquidators to do measurements and was there the next day. I told him of our dilemma so he went ahead and tentatively reserved us an install spot. The next morning the store had the measurements from Chip so I paid for the materials and they were delivered the following day. The floor crew from Rays was there the following day, two days day before Thanksgiving, and did a great job to put vinyl wood in three rooms to replace carpet. The movers then showed up two days early, the day before Thanksgiving, which still worked out thanks to the total hustle and professionalism of the Lumber Liquidator staff and the installer they contracted with.
