He showed me where it was and wanted to hurry back to the front with it in his hand without letting me even look at it. I stopped him saying I needed to compare the product to what I had to make sure it was the right one. There were multiple options and no differentiating description on the front. You also couldn't see it fully without opening it up so I was trying to make sure I had the right one. I did not want to come back or have to go somewhere to replace it. He kept rushing me and when I went to take the product to look at it, he held onto it until I had to pull it out of his hand. He literally pressed his fingers together gripping it. It was very clear he did not want me touching any of the product in the store. I guess he thought I was going to grab it, stuff it down my leggings, rush past him and out the store. It was $7. I had no purse and had my wallet and keys were in my hand so I have no idea where his imagination was going. After I looked at, I was decided to try it so turned to talk to the front check out and he grabbed it out of my hands to walk it to the front. I typically shop here because the Lowes is far but I'll take my business elsewhere. I wouldn't want to frighten the old white men with my presence. Fox News must have told him every POC wants what they have and will steal it right in front of them in broad daylight. In reality, I would rather not speak or deal with you either.

I've gone in twice this week, spending a significant amount of money both times, and the first time I was trying to help lift a heavy bag so she could scan a barcode, and her words, verbatim, were "Stop it! She rolled her eyes at me, let out an exasperated sigh, and called someone over the speaker. I relayed this story to my father, who said "Yeah, she's been that way for years. Probably related to the owner. I've been sending my clients to [a competitor] for the past 3 years, because it's not worth spending $300 per trip, to be treated like you're inconveniencing the company." Everyone on the floor was nice and helpful, but I'll go elsewhere moving forward, especially given that the lack of polite customer service tends to be well known in the community.

North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, GA (706) 216-5211 (this is the outlet location) I prefer this store because of the sales associate's down to Earth approach to their merchandise. Not everyone (myself included) is knowledgeable about most of the items that W-S sells. I do think most people need some education before they will plop $350 on a German made sauce pan no matter how gorgeous it might look. This is where I think this particular store in The Avenue gets it right. They educate the consumer first and then let you decide. For example do you know why a person would use a stainless steel sauce pan as opposed to a non-stick? I didn't when I came here. I just thought it was a personal preference...apparently it's more than that...its about what you're cooking...but that's what's great about this store is that the folks here will explain all of this stuff to you without any pretentious snobbiness or judgement. In fact many years ago I bought my first big girl chef's knife here after I spent 20 minutes with a very nice sales person. (I previously had been using a $8 knife that I thought I bought from a street vendor.) I still use it everyday and it still cut like I bought it just the other day...so that old saying you get what you pay for is true in this case. You really do get what you pay for here at Williams-Sonoma.

They didn't have the exact part I needed, but the employees were genuinely friendly and took the time to talk through what I was trying to accomplish. They explained that certain sink components are difficult to find individually because they typically only come with the sink itself or as part of the original installation kit. Unfortunately, the only way their available options would have worked was if I purchased an entirely new sink. Even though I didn't leave with the part, I appreciated that they pointed me toward another store that might have it and didn't try to upsell me unnecessarily. LuCKY for me! :-) If you own a home long enough, seems like just about everything eventually needs to be replaced. Had a tough time finding a little part I needed. Finally found it at Ferguson's! They were fast and fairly priced. Their retail price is higher than online, as it's based on volume. Very happy they ordered the exact part for me, instead of an entire assembly like hardware stores. First and foremost, I was greeted immediately, but not greeted like the typical used car salesman that follows you around the store. I met Sue, who was extremely kind and very knowledgeable about the pieces in their showroom. I immediately knew I was in the right place, as there was nothing in that store that I did not like. This comes from a picky person. I was in awe of the beautifully crafted and modern furniture. I wanted one of each! Alas, I took one look at a price tag and gasped! They are a bit on the high end, but SO IS THEIR FURNITURE! It far surpasses any furniture store I have ever visited. I spoke to Sue about my needs and she listened intently; a virtue many salesmen lack (me included!). When Sue took me to the back of the showroom and introduced me to the Ekornes line, I KNEW she cared! I was sold at that moment. You see, I have had major back pain that basically runs my life. Sue explained how these recliners are focused on the lumbar spine and actually give it relief. She was absolutely right. I sat on a chair and reclined ... I almost fell asleep. Needless to say I purchased one knowing that it was well worth every penny since my health comes first. The furniture is made in Norway so after choosing the color I liked, I paid a deposit and left. I was so excited about the cool color I chose that I completely forgot that it wouldn't go with anything I owned. I called back and Sue was with a customer. However, Rosa said she would be happy to assist me. She was very kind, and it was obvious these ladies work as a team for the benefit of the owner. Rosa actually took pictures of the different colors and sent them to me so I could choose. Since then, I have mostly dealt with Rosa, who takes me as seriously as if I were one of her own clients. I am incredibly grateful to these ladies for their hard work and their sincerity. THAT is what keeps a business successful. People who listen and people who CARE! Thank you to the owners of Bova, who recognize it's the people; not the pieces of gorgeous furniture, that will continue to lead them to success. Since I've met Sue and Rosa, I would feel too guilty shopping anywhere else! These ladies deserve to be recognized for their dedication and hard work!
