I buy the 20 lb bags of birdseed a lot as well as potting soil; garden soil, mulch, patio furniture, paint, etc. Just bought 4 gallons of clear stain and water sealer to do deck and front porch when it gets cooler. I prefer this store rather than going to Lowe's because it just the right size store without having to hike thru a bigger size store. They have never disappointed me and enjoy going in to shop or look around.

On Scoping: While he promises a "high quality finish in his statements of work, he is vague on what work is scoped and leverages that vague language to claim that work has been satisfactorily completed. On Material Selection He lacks the expertise to select the correct paint for job. For instance he used a matte paint on doors and molding, which is not best practices. If you choose this vendor, you need to inspect all material brought into your house to validate they are using correct material. On Prep Work While his statement of work said all staircases would be covered, they were not. This has resulted in needing to have runners on stairs replaced. His team also fails to properly tape and cover stained wood surfaces. I am currently scoping several thousand dollars of work to have wooden doors and floors sanded and re-stained due to their poor prep work. On overall quality Vendor missed many areas, there was paint destined for floor boards and molding that ended up on walls, missed spots, and drip marks. In addition, his team paints over sanded areas, meaning all surfaces will need to be re-sanded, primed, and repainted On timelines His teams move quickly to the detriment of quality. It was inextricable that prepping and applying 2 quotes would be done in under two days. On customer satisfaction His team doing the work are hard to communicate with and if there are issues both his team and himself are combative with home owners. I would never trust him or his team to be in your home with your wife or children without you present. In addition, rather than doing quality work he would rather sue

BEWARE: Poor Workmanship, No Accountability, and Now I'm Paying for It…read moreI worked with Goliath Exteriors Inc. in 2023 after starting conversations and getting loan approvals in October 2022. What was supposed to be a professional project turned into a long, frustrating experience full of delays, sloppy work, and now--less than two years later--I'm incurring all the costs to fix what they did. I communicated with Gabe, who is personable and seemingly trustworthy. But at the end of the day, he's a salesperson, and once the job finally began (in April 2023, about 6-8 months later than promised), it quickly became clear that the rest of the company didn't live up to his pitch. I had major exterior work done on my home which included full house painting, and the building of two new decks. This wasn't cheap--I spent thousands expecting long-term results. Instead: * Crews had to come back multiple times to fix mistakes. * They used multiple unreliable contractors, causing inconsistencies, delays, and poor workmanship. * Even with the staining of the deck the crew member was just applying it over dirty and stained wood. Because the stain was light you could see all the old wood and stains over the years. They stated they didn't know you needed to sand wood before staining it....So I stopped them had to tell them I wanted the deck actually stained professionally and gone through the proper steps. * Screens started popping out of my windows less than a year later. * And now BRAND NEW Gutters are now falling off my house. A new contractor confirmed they were installed improperly and need to be redone asked me to just reach out to the contractor who did it because it was clearly a workmanship issue...if not of course I could pay them to fix their mistakes. AGAIN...at my expense. * Issues with the lower deck screens were dismissed, even after I raised concerns. They promised a lifetime warranty on their work. And before anyone ask, I have texted, left messages, called...etc. You name it I have done. They know their work is horrible, and they are refusing to return any calls or messages. Even to just say...we don't want to work with you anymore. NOTHING.... On the surface, the job looked fine at first, but over 60% of the work has issues, and I am and have been paying out of pocket to redo what I already paid them to do. This isn't a product issue--it's a lack of quality, integrity, and responsibility. I didn't leave a review at first because Gabe was polite, but silence only helps bad companies continue bad work. If you're considering Goliath Exteriors, I urge you to look elsewhere. This is a REAL and RAW review. Ask reviewers how their projects are holding up now--I wish I had. My results did not last. Im sure there are a lot of people just like me that didn't say anything, mostly because Gabe was nice and it was just better to say nothing. But it was a NIGHTMARE...trust me...Save yourself.
