We have been using the Miter/Samurai Saw blade to cut the wood planks which our friend let us borrow for over 3 months and now that the job is finished, I wanted to change the "10" inch circular blade as it has become quite dull, but can still cut slowly though. We just want to do the right thing and replace it. Saved up some $$$ too than purchasing one or renting them at the Home Depot. My partner and I tried to remove it and even followed the Youtube video on the specific saw as it is a Hitachi C10CFH2 as the Allen wrench we had on was the proper fit and size but still won't let it turn as we tried multiple times and we don't want to damage the head as it is so seized up. Next day, we took it to Proctor ACE Hardware at 5273 University Blvd West and went straight to the customer service and they immediately went at it and yep - they told me it was pretty seized up as it was overtightened all right. They had to drill out the screw to get it out and would be easily replaced as the store, lucky they have the part and after 30 minutes it was back to normal with a fresh blade DeWalt "10" circular blade that I purchased from the store and I did not even have to pay them for the labor, is there at least a tip jar? Awesome sauce! We are very grateful for the staff especially to Mr. Rodney, who did most of the nitty-gritty, Emrah for being so communicative and Mr. John for taking me to the right department. Next time I have any tool issues or need to buy gear (the prices are very good as may items were on sale, especially the gardening items, Spring is coming next month sooo... I would definitely go to ACE - The Helpful Place :)

I jumped on the porch goose club several years ago and I'm always looking for more outfits and accessories for my gaggle of geese. I have several different feeders and found that they prefer the feeders with a place for them to land their feet on them. This feeder fit the bill and it fit perfectly in my suitcase for the flight home. There were so many fun Halloween decorations and pumpkins, gourds, etc. one woman shopping had 3 of the most beautiful orchids that I've ever seen. They were huge! The truth is, I haven't bought lawn equipment in decades. I haven't mowed a lawn in decades. So I took my clueless self into Home Depot in Jax Beach this past weekend and met Chad. He was beyond helpful -- let me ask about 5,027 questions without ever making me feel stupid, annoying, or like I was wasting his time. Today I went back, still overwhelmed, and even apologized for being so clueless and wishy-washy. Chad didn't miss a beat. He said: "You should be. Make sure you ask questions, do your homework." He never once made me feel dumb or like I was a bother. Instead, he put together a package that was actually cheaper than the bundle I thought I needed, and reassured me that if I need help later, someone there will show me how to use everything. So, shout out to Home Depot. And shout out to Chad. and hopefully I remembered his name, right! If you happen to see this "old lady" struggling to mow her lawn... just wave, smile, and keep driving. PS - the lawnmower does belong in the kitchen, right?

Today's five star rating goes to three outstanding professionals! Randy, Todd, and Erica…read more I found out through a home renovation project that my shower had to unexpectedly be redone. Having very limited time I had to go and select what was necessary so the project could continue and not held up any longer. Stressed well, that's an understatement however I first had the privilege of working with Randy who invoked Todd's opinion and ended with Erica @ check out. They truly made this stressful situation a Joy and I even left with a smile on my face because of them. Randy was extremely patient, I asked him if he was busy and if he could help. He spent the next 20 minutes walking up and down the aisles repetitively (at least four times) before I could finally decide on the tile. As we were looking for the shower flooring to match the fantastic tile- the only thing I knew - I wanted pebbles. This is where Todd came to help, the two of them tag team and got various samples. (I got one which got voted out very quickly for the right reason). Todd had an eye for this as does Randy and that truly made a difference because from what I said earlier, being extremely stressful now suddenly became exciting because of the tile and pebble flooring that Randy and Todd helped select. Upon leaving, I had the privilege of working with Erica who is so kind and patient as I asked many questions about how the contractor will come get everything the following morning. She maintained a smile and when I told her how great Randy and Todd were she handed me a card so I could do a yelp review. Little does she know I've been an elite yelper for Eight years Overall, I'm very happy with what I got, the prices were very reasonable and I got a good value for my money. I was actually surprised at how inexpensive the pebble flooring and tile were as I really thought it was gonna cost a lot more. Thank you, Floor & Decor for Randy, Todd, and Erica, what a great team you have

I purchased a 1/2 gallon pump sprayer on 2/9/2025. I filled it with water pumped it up and I discovered that it was leaking air. I removed the top and noticed that the gasket between the tank and pump was missing. I immediately took it back to the store and asked to exchange it for another one. I was told that because I opened the package, I would have to do the return online. I can understand that there needs to be some kind of limited return policy for items like this. After all, what is there to stop someone from buying a $600 airless paint sprayer, using it, and then returning it the next day, but they need to give the store manager the ability to make a judgment call. I was looking to exchange, not get a refund, for a $3.75 pump sprayer that had been purchased less than an hour earlier. I should have not been sent packing and told that I have to do a warranty claim online where I may or may not get a refund.
