Let me start off by saying, I don't write reviews very often. Customer service has seemed to all but disappear the last couple years. Today, I was sincerely blown away. I was welcomed immediately by multiple employees when I came in. I needed help finding some exterior paint for my house and was having a lot of trouble figuring out what colors matched what we currently have. Needless to say, I was frustrated before I even walked in as our HOA was next to useless in providing palettes to match our house. Martin came over and was extremely approachable and helpful. I felt comfortable right away. He went above and beyond to find the correct colors for what I was looking for, even digging through a few binders to try and find the original colors of my house. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable with everything I needed, adding in a few recommendations, in which I really appreciated. He listened to all my concerns, (and complaints that had nothing to do with him or paints) and provided me with top notch service. Leaving there, I could honestly say I had no expectations of having the experience I had. Not only was Martin fantastic, but so were the other three employees that were helping (sorry I didn't catch their names). They were all very friendly! Let's start of by saying that the manager is lazy lazy lazy. I worked for a company named accent painting. We bought 20 gallons of duration exterior paint last week on Monday and Tuesday I take it that's the day the manager is off. We bought 2 gallons of deck paint from the store on Pecos and windmill. I needed to get the color changed on that deck paint and I had a chip a paint chip from the deck that I needed it matched to. I took that paint into that Sherwin-Williams store on Boulder Highway and the Manager look at the can of paint and said I'm sorry you didn't buy that at this store, there's nothing I can do with it. I asked him if there was anybody confident enough to mix this paint from this chip here and he said I'm sorry you didn't buy that paint from the store. I can't do anything with it. I said this is a Sherman Williams product that is bought at a Sherman Williams store. Why can't you tint it to this chip and he said you didn't buy it at the store and I tossed the chip onto the counter and I said well then take 2 gallons of paint from the back I'll put these 2 gallons in my van and you mix it to that chip. He proceeds to tell me that he doesn't like my attitude and to get out of his store. I said you gotta be fucking kidding me he said nope get out of the store and I told him fuck you suck my dick told him my name told him who I worked for. I leave the store. I'm going to the store that the paint was bought. I called my boss and my boss got a phone call from the manager and of course he didn't tell him what happened. He just told my boss that I told him to suck my dick. I probably could've used some other words, but that's exactly how I Felt. I figured Sherman Williams has stores all over and they should be able to tenant for me. That's why we use Sherman Williams. I took it to the store the manager there took 10 minutes out of our time mixed it and I was on my way. This tells me that the manager is lazy at Boulder Highway my boss instead of asking me what happened start yelling at me I hung up on him That put a wedge between my boss and I my boss has been a dick to me ever since I no longer work for him, Accent Painting. read more

Wow. The woman in there could not be any more difficult. We were there to buy multiple gallons of paint and 30 questions in a row, every single one she had a negative comeback for. At my old company, we used to refer to people like this as the anti-sales department. We finally left and went to the Sherwin-Williams on Tropicana. They were super helpful and got us what we needed with no drama. Whoever owns this Sherwin-Williams on Boulder would be wise to get rid of her. Good luck. read more

So, when you stop bye this store, make sure Mark isn't working. He will find a way to not help you.! I asked him to mix one of my 5 gallon drums. He says to me that he doesn't want to damage their equipment. Well, six months ago he did the same thing. Two months ago he wasn't working and the person working was more than happy to help me. I went to Sherwin Williams to have them mix me a couple gallons of paint to match a gallon I had bought there a year before. They supposedly used the formula from the can I brought in. When I went to paint my walls, the colors were off. I drove back with my gallons of paint and pictures to show the shades were off and they said, "they looked like the same colors". I don't sell paint but my pictures are pretty clear that the colors don't match. They did gives me my money back, but no apologies for the inconvenience, the wasted paint roller brush, the time, etc. And they didn't even try to make it right. I drove directly over to Lowe's and they were able to match the colors perfectly at a fraction of the cost. read more

I normally don't go to Yelp to write a 1 star review, however, after dealing with Andrew at this location I decided to expound on my experience yesterday at 4:30pm. I'll be brief. Andrew can't understand how to comment and explain to Sherwin Williams customers in simple terms of paint. It's not that complicated. After him mumbling the in stock situation and the base for "specail" colors, I was a little confused. I asked about the finishes and directed me to the wall with the finishes. After telling him what wanted he started to mumble and confuse the matter more. I had given a couple colors I choose. He couldn't find it. I put my phone so he can see it. After that I asked if we can make this a little more simple. His reaction was to say " this is hilarious " and smile at me( he said he was going to just smile and laugh) . He kept the same egregious chant over and over. At this point I'm pretty taken back and clapped back at him. This kid has a lot to learn when it comes to communicating with people. Off the bat he seemed off. After the continuous pugilistic attitude I to joined in his child game. After a bit he walked away and robert helped me. He made it easy and I bought a quart size color. When they get more paint I'll buy more. Robert could have been better , but he did make it easy. I did file a cooperate complaint earlier this morning. Andrew needs to know how to serve Sherwin Williams customers in which he is paid to do. I am following up with cooperate in a couple of days when I receive a message back. In short this is what happened. The long version would not give me enough characters here. Oh and when you say "what is the property" I'm sure you meant community. Property is what own in the "community ' I live in. I can explain a hundred page legal contract but for reason Andrew is out in left field when it comes to dealing with customers. For the money that you guy charge, I expect better ! The good... The paint I got matched perfectly. read more

I have no clue what the other reviews are talking about when they say this location has bad customers. These guys know me by a first name basis and make every project I tackle a little bit easier. Martin really built up a good store and does a fantastic job running it. read more

No customer service, at all! We were in the store at least 30 minutes and we're never even greeted or asked if we needed help. When we wanted to get paint samples no one would come up front. read more

Martin Nave crushed it for me today. Unfortunately, he isn't the major account representative but he went out of his way to almost perfectly create a custom color for a major corporate client. Would highly recommend Martin and his staff for go above and beyond. read more

Amazing experience at this location. Kaiden was extremely helpful, extremely knowledgeable with paint and was able to correct the pain that we had previously purchased that ended up being more blue than I expected. Kaiden fixed it to give me the paint I truly wanted. Thank you Kaiden. We will definitely be back soon for more paint. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great products, hours of operation are great for working folks as well.
