I had a client who was trying to decide on a color for her house. We tried a few DV shades but my client saw a couple of colors from Home Depot she liked. When I asked Ray to match an HD color he got upset and said that "maybe this store isn't for you." I took him up on his offer and I have not set foot in a DV store since. DV's paint is good but I am not going to get yelled at where I need paint. Home Depot doesn't treat me that way so I have been buying my paint there. It's too bad because Diamond Vogel is a family owned company and I like to support those kind of businesses but if I have to deal with Ray then NO THANK YOU! Get rid of Ray and I will return! Until then BYE BYE!

One of us stayed outside with the dog, and when the owner noticed, he insisted we bring our dog inside to browse with us. They will give you little 2oz samples of any paint color you want. I've since found that most Benjamin Moore places only offer a small selection pre-mixed in these sample sizes. Also, they carry Aura paint which, while expensive at $55+ a gallon, is well worth the price because you usually only need one coat of it to cover the wall. We've averaged about 50%-100% more coverage than regular paint with it and the extra quality and pigmentation make the paint seem to almost change while you are looking at it from different angles. Also, it's washable in any sheen and dries very quickly with very little of the common obnoxious odor associated with most paints. Please support this very cool local shop, they'll treat you right and they deserve your business.
