I brought along a couple of old Benjamin Moore paint cans that were about seven years old assuming I'd need to replace them. Instead of trying to sell me two new gallons at $50 each, the staff inspected the paint, found it was still in good condition, and offered to strain, thin, and repackage it into new cans. The total cost to me was about $10. I also had a few basic questions about how to properly retouch the walls, and the staff took the time to explain everything to me in detail. It's rare to walk into a business for the first time and encounter such a customer-focused approach. I highly recommend supporting this store. It also felt great to give my business to a local paint shop rather than a big-box chain.

Bought 3 pairs of these thermal socks for my mum, she walks every day outside for exercise and her feet are always cold. Bought 2 pairs for her 7.5 sized feet. My FAVORITE home improvement store is Menards in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This two story gem is by…read morefar better than any HomeDepot or Lowes. In my opinion, HomeDepot is more for construction workers, Lowes is for those looking for better quality and Menards is totally upscale and beats them both hands down. Before relocating from Keego Harbor, MI to San Angelo we purchased 2 ceiling fans for our San Angelo condo. Not sure what happened during our chaotic move, we discovered that one light didn't work after installing them in our condo a month after moving in. I emailed Menards customer service and explained that we purchased them in MI and installed them in TX with no way to easily return/exchange it for another fan. Menards doesn't have a store (yet) in TX. Linda w/Menards customer service took the bull by the horns and within 2 weeks we received not 1 but 2 light replacements for the ceiling fans. Talk about GREAT out of state customer service! Menards is simply the BEST. They could have said "you need to return the defective fan for a refund".

Communication was top notch- they always double checked if they had any questions. On top of this, they gave many valuable suggestions regarding the painting. Since it is new house and we were bringing lots of new furniture into the house, inevitability scratching walls, the team came back once we settled and filled all new scratches on the walls, and painted small imperfections we created. I rehired them again 6 months later, since there were several small painting projects all over the house. They came again, did great job painting and did not even charge me, stating they considered it as part of the larger work they did for us earlier.
